I like this game concept so much... such a shame good games like this are so underrated. This was a little gem, even though it's not cannon to the SH series.
I mean technically you could make it cannon to the first and third games. Given that in the UFO ending, Kaufman talks about "cults and demons" and none of either ever show up in the game, that must mean Cheryl talks about these two subjects before the actual events of the game which might mean she created the stories of one and three as a fantasy to make her dad look like a bad-ass or something. And then the events in SM are Kaufman trying to explain to her about how that stuff didn't actually happen and that's why events in the game start to unravel and mindfuck the player while teaching them how Harry actually was. Which is actually really sad when all put together. A character you thought was so awesome turns out to be a shitty person who was just fantasized to the extreme.
*Plot twist he’s a sovereign citizen that claims he doesn’t have to self identify to police and walks out completely forgetting about his lost daughter
It's crazy how the choices you pick at the therapy sections of the game effect how characters will look in the story and how they react, on my first play through I got militaristic and hard ass cybil then on my second play through I got the sexy and nice cybil
Professionally Dressed and Kind Cybil look like the white woman with brown hair detective from Law and Order the series with Ice - T in it. I found out her name is Mariska Hargitay

I like the hardass militaristic Cybil better than the regular and the sexy ones. Something must be wrong with me. Speaking of the sexy one... Something about her being a hardass just feels right, as if they just work incredibly well, because her nature comes from potential trauma, not simply being rude for the sake of it.

the plot to the original silent hill is kind of ruined in this as he never lived in silent hill in the original, no air rade siren, the darkness is not rusted metal its ice, and all of the monsters are the same, also people living normal lives in silent hill when its supposed to b desserted
