You're paying for "performance reliability" that Mopar spent millions in R&D. You aren't buying a 392 and installing a Whipple and hope the internals won't bend on you while ripping it on the highway. Hellcats are the AMGs of Dodge. You're paying for peace of mind. $26,000 gets you the supercharger, the fuel upgrade, the injectors, the internals, the ECU tune, the programmed infotainment, the luxury leather, so on and so fort, AND the labor to install and R&D/Testing, and the Mopar tax at the end. In my opinion, the Hellcat is worth every penny.

The Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing would be my (American muscle sedan) alternative to the Hellcat… supercharged V8, with 4 doors, and more “under the radar” compared to Hellcats which seem to be a magnet for car thieves.
Love the Hellcats, but a CT5-V Blackwing is probably a no brainer for me if I'm going American muscle. I'm a bit disappointed in the interior for the Blackwing however. Call me nuts, but I think I even like the ZL1's interior better than the Blackwing.
I owned a WBSP for a year before selling it and purchasing a GT-R. Despite idolizing the R35 for 10 years, I have to say Dodge did something special considering I still find myself missing the raw power and sound of that Hemi V8. That throttle is both addictive and intoxicating. I definitely plan on purchasing a hellcat in the future but figured it was better to secure a lower production vehicle before they become more difficult to acquire. All the performance cars of this Era will be collectibles!
I love this color spec. I’m so tired of seeing these in black with all black interiors. The brown and white interiors from the Jailbreak is much better to look at in my opinion.

When you first entered the highway you mentioned "the steering was a little flat and it took some setup" I know what you're describing. In the settings menu you can switch the power steering modes between Normal, Comfort and Sport. By default it comes in Normal. I found personally that by switching to Sport the steering feels MUCH tighter/firm and I can feel the road through the wheel. This fixes a lot of that flatness and gives the response you're looking for.
I'd gone into Sport drive mode before entering the corner, so the steering was in Sport. Noticeable improvement over Normal, but still not the quickest turn-in (305-section tires have something to do with that for sure)

I ordered my widebody charger hellcat in go mango w black hood back in February it’s gonna delivery any day now, these cars are one of a kind. Especially with how they are going out of production makes them that much more special. We have a green f8 demon and a scat pack but there’s nothing like going past 3k rpm in a supercharged hemi. The people who talk trash are the people who have never riden in them plain and simple. The first time I launched that demon got me addicted to dodge. ✌️
Great POV! I have an appointment July 2nd at my local dodge dealership to begin the build process for my charger hellcat widebody. The final selling point for me was the supercharger whine! I had enough of hearing them everywhere else, time to get one before they cease production.

Just even getting a normal Charger with the 5.7L hemi V8 is enough power for most, I mean 370 HP is more than enough. But this 6.2L supercharged V8 with over 700 HP is ridiculous, and I love FCA for doing this :D Plus the Charger looks timeless and beautiful.
Yeah that interior is super disappointing especially for 2022. My 2020 rebel blows that interior away. Then I also just leased a $25K car and it has more features than this. This doesn’t look like it has auto climate or anything like that which now comes standard on a lot of cars.
Definitely should of included the Camaro ZL1 convertible. 2 door drop top 200mph BEAST! 10 speed instantaneous shifts. Superior at handling corners, 650hp 650 torque. Looks menacing... After 1 test drive I just had to own it. Try one and you will be convinced
I'm stuck trying to decide between a ZL1 and Hellcat. The pure power and absurdity of the Hellcat makes it so appealing, but the ZL1 just seems like the total package, and is a little more accessible price wise.

I have a challenger rt with 275's on the rear. Just pulling out onto the road i have to be careful as not to get sideways on dry pavement. With an estimated 330 wheel horsepower on my car.... I honestly wouldn't need twice that. A SP would be plenty for me. Anyone hating on these cars... slowpar... heavy boat ect. I guess unless you've driven one you can't know.

Extremely high performance, but absolutely nothing else. The Bentley Flying Spur on the other hand.
That dash display looks like a luxury car from 1999 might have. Needs to be twice as big & modernized.
The design is over 10 years old, not to mention the chassis dates back to the mid-90’s Mercedes. These were developed during the Diamler-Chrysler era.
