    Her research spans Endocrinology, Teratology, Developmental Biology, and Cellular and Molecular Biology. Within the university, she has served in various capacities, including Head of the Department of Anatomy and member of the Student Support Unit. Dr. Akpaso has published extensively, co-authored a textbook on Phytomedicine, and written a novel, Delilah’s Syndrome, on self-esteem for young people.
    Her impactful work, especially in HIV/AIDS prevention, has earned her multiple awards. She is a member of numerous professional bodies, such as the Anatomical Society of Nigeria and the Nigerian Medical Association. As a counselor, Dr. Akpaso is committed to giving people their best shot at life, spreading the message of mental health nationwide.
