Nice!! I just bought a ton of Indiana Green from your collection brother. I was able to line some up with your videos, very cool.. I'll keep everything well documented!!! Rock on
Good to see ya back, nice finds, I remember finding crionoids on my aunt’s gravel driveway when I was a kid, down in New Harmony, you ever see those drilled, sure would have made a nice bead😎😎😎
Dang that sucks to see all those houses on your old sites buddy! Keep hitting the ones you got though and saving those artifacts! Good late summer finds. Best of luck from us!
Very nice place friend. That FIRST POINT IS BEAUTIFUL. It has the traces of the thousand battles sustained over time. I was reading the comments to understand and I see that you made a very interesting find with that discoidal artifact that you found. Greetings friend and congratulations.
OMG now I know where you are. I was the first 157 person hired at Wabash National when they started up. I lived up there for 9 years. Now i'm 4 hours south of you on the Ohio River.
Good to see ya bud!! Lots of good hunting ground has been consumed and will continue to be due to industry and housing....among other things!! Hope you’re able to find many new productive sites though.....they’re out there!! Couple of sweet finds ya got here my friend.....we appreciate the look!!! Hope to see ya back out soon!! 👍
Went up that way in the early spring and noticed how much it had grown since the last time I was up that way. I highly doubt there will be any sites left to hunt in 40yrs. I can think of five off the top of my head that developed and are gone forever. There's Archaeology groups going out ahead of the I-69 interstate that's underway up through here.. There not trying to save everything their just digging older sites. On the other hand the state bought land I couldn't get on before. It'll never confinsate for what is lost. I been slow finding to. Been getting some good Madison's and one descent corner notch walking corn rows. Thanks for letting us know your still out there.
That's for sure a game ball. And I'm pretty darn sure that's a biscuit discoidal. There is a creek not to far from me and in two places there are small water falls. They are only about two foot tall. At the bottom of both of them there's holes on the bedrock. The holes are about three inches wide and about six to eight inches deep. You can see where they were pecked out by native Americans. For a long time I didn't know what they were used for. An older guy who was very knowledgeable about artifacts told me that they would peck the game balls till they were round as they could get them. Then they would put sand and hard rock pieces in the holes with the game balls to let the water and grit shape them. He had two game balls he had found in the same kind of holes.
I live in central Indiana, around Mooresville. I’m really wanting to get into artifact hunting, do you have any tips or maybe areas you would recommend?

Killer artifacts. Shame your losing your places to hunt. Progress is a catch-22 good for work but ya lose wilderness. Good luck out there 👍🏹
