Simple Bread Pudding

- 6-8 cups of bread
1 stick of butter
4 eggs
1 1/2 cups of sugar
3 cups of milk
1 cup of heavy whipping cream
1 teaspoon of vanilla
1 1/2 teaspoons of cinnamon
1 teaspoon of nutmeg
Mix sugar and eggs together
Pour in milk and heavy whipping cream. Add butter, vanilla, nutmeg and cinnamon. Pour over bread and press bread down to cover absorb. Wait a 15 minute, add some raisins if desire ,butter baking d and pour bread into and add more raisins if desired. Bake for 45 minutes at 350 in oven.
Sauce - 1/2 c heavy whipping cream
1/2 c sugar
1/2 brown sugar
1 tbsp of corn starch
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 stick butter
Mix corn starch with sugars
Heat, don’t boil and enjoy

I really like your style and humor, I'm I'm South Africa Cape town and we also grew up with bread pudding my grandmother used never let not leftovers or stale bread go to waste. She always fed a whole family of kids and grandchildren

I'm exactly the same, I rarely make desserts and I eat them only a couple times a year! But bread pudding is one of the few desserts I ABSOLUTELY LOVE!! And it's one I've been searching for that is very simple and no fancy liquors or apples or tons of spices. Just simple, old fashioned bread pudding and here it is! You have no idea how much I appreciate this! It will feed my soul 🥰💗💗💗 I just love your no nonsense, good hearted delivery. I can feel the love. And the sass! 👏🏻 You make me giggle. Tennessee North, how are you today? I’m watching you on this video and wanted to say, I had a fantastic Mom, not so good Dad. My mom raised us to love and find the good in everyone. Never kick someone that’s down on their luck. God loves us and sent his son for all his children. She worked hard and loved with all her heart. Her 4 kids were her life. We moved around a lot due to my Dad getting fired a lot because of his foul temper. We lived in Knoxville TN for sometime and I fell in love with Tenn. some of my favorite memories were there. Thank you for bring back these fond memories talking about your mom and making good southern cooking. Enjoy some of that yummy bread pudding. I’m sure it was delicious. Thx for this recipe. Mrs Tennessee North, please try placing a wet paper towel under your cutting board to stop the movement while you're cutting. I LOVE BREAD PUDDING! My mom made it when I was a kid. Sure wished I had learned her recipe before she passed. But, I'm glad you're sharing...with raisins!!! ❤️
