The combat tanto has a full tang construction so I make it the same way as most other knives. Don't have a video on making one but you can check my shorts, should have a few clips of the knife.

Yup, a lot of the tools that I still use are from a cheapo leatherworking kit that I got when I started. On this model I couldn't do much wet forming because the leather was thicker where the snap is and wouldn't move much.
