The Character was phenomenal...the actress even more so for making us believe....I watched this series purely on the strength of her performance.....Ms. Winnick is a wonderful actress, stunningly attractive....with physical abilities that should have her working as an A list actress in Hollywood.....if the were casting a female Bond.....this would be the Lady to play her!
Katheryn Winnick absolutely captivated and made me believe in this character. Much love and respect for this beautiful and talented actor. Her performance was subtle, organic, and 100% believable. And though she is more technically skilled than Hollywood A list actors, she's left her mark and retained her integrity. A real bad ass.
Whenever I see a beautiful, white wolf with beautiful blue eyes, Katheryn Winnick's Lagertha immediately comes to mind. Winnick absolutely owned this role, making Lagertha as equally as fierce a warrior as she was beautiful. Half living shield-maiden, half Valkyrie. And if there's ever a remake of Blade Runner, which I hope doesn't happen, Winnick would be the perfect Pris...or Zhora. 😁
Her real name is Kateryna Vinnytska. The daughter of Ukrainian migrants to Canada. She still speaks Ukrainian well. Not suprised she played the role perfectly. Because Ukraine originated from Kievan Rus (Ruth or Gardariki) - medieval state ruled by Vikings for centuries...

If the Terminator franchise hadn't been destroyed already, she would have made a great infiltrator assassin. But I wouldn't wish that franchise on Katheryn now. It's a horrible career move. 😂
