im using oled hardmod chip,to anyone see this, you can set the sd partition 10GB cause the 'system' only take 4GB at least.. dont waste storage😅 and much faster just taken 1 minute something to do this..👍👍

Thank you so much for this. What do i do when upgrading sd size (chip)? do I just have to run the whole process again or no?
There are ways to clone sd cards with partitions, but I always find it better to start fresh, just make sure saves are backed up etc then can also get rid of the bits that no longer use.
I have a switch that is hard nodded and on the screen at 1:57 but now won’t turn on. What can I do?
i insert the sd card with the HATS folder it still shows me "no sd card" instead of launching Hekate
When I copy the hatspack folder into tolhe root of my sd card , certain files fails to copy , how can i fix the issue please help me .

Yes one is fw for if you need to update offline, if not dont need to download it.
So does the software automatically protect you from connecting to Nintendo servers or you have to make sure you manually disconnect from wifi . I haven’t seen anything to clear on that not quite sure i understand yet … someone told me you can still connect to wifi but that Nintendo servers are blocked by some setting .
There are other ways but i never connect to wifi when on custom, only when using official.
@@FixModBuildExtrathere is nothing wrong with connecting to the WiFi tho. You will not get banned and you have no connection to Nintendo’s servers. but I understand it is your preference so do what you like to do.
Yes, hats does. It stops all communication to the Nintendo’s servers and blanks your switch’s serial number. Also you don’t have access so the eshop or can update your games but you can edit exosphere.ini file and the system_settings.ini file to get back access to the eshop and update your games.
Is using telegram safe?, not sure about those apps as they always pop up on website?

My Switch doesnt show any battery percentage, voltage and current stats. Neither at the charger or in battery mode. And it was fully charged when i modded it. Do you know something about my issue?

Does anyone know if there’s a max limit on sd cards for switch homebrew I did a 3ds recently and it was recommended not going over 128 cause there was image issues with custom themes and such ik 128 it’s recommended minimum for switch but I’m just wondering if there’s a point that’s deemed ‘too much’ for the switch
I have read people using 512gb, not sure on higher as its not readily available but I think it will go higher.

hey! i just modded my switch and i was wondering how to switch back to cfw after switching to ofw? do i just restart like normal and it will boot to hekate, or will i have to go in rcm
Depends if you have a mod chip, if you do when you turn it on it boots to Hekate. if you use an rcm loaded you will need that to boot to cfw
When I try to launch the CDW EMUMMC I run into the following error. "Error while loading fss0
atmosphere/package3
wrong ini cfg or missing/corrupt files!
Failed to launch HOS! press any key..."
I have tried to relaunch and reboot and keep running into this issue. Any solution that comes to mind for this?
Redownload the hats project. If you still get the same error just use sysmmc CFW. It’s the same thing and you can play the games you bought on the OFW side
Also make sure that you set up Emummc correctly just like in the video

1:55 you didn't show what to do if its not hard modded, or even what that means, what do i do with my rcm jig?
What does an rcm jig do? Isn't it usually you install chip then you set up it with sd card?
if its not hard modded you will need to put clip down right joycon rail, insert injector and hold volume up and power button to boot.
What is the Button called "Normal" under thereboot options. And why is it not good to be connected to the Internet on the Otherside?
I have not pressed normal so not sure!
You Never want to be connected to the internet when using custom firmware as the big N can detect it and will ban your console.

how do u turn it back on when it fully dies?
Plug it in and it will get a battery meter in the corner, hold the power button down for about 20secs, the Nintendo logo will come on then off, if you have done it right nothing will be on the screen.
is this tutorial for v1 or v2
Works on both, just the orientation of the chips you solder slightly differ.

I tried with 2 sd cards and both failed, they are now corrupted without solution
Thats a shame, I have done a lot of these now and never had a single corruption.

rp2040, typr that in aliexpress and will come up with a few options depending on your switch version
can you use exfat format?
Yes and its easier for installing files over 4gb BUT it is known to corrupt and crash your system so you run a bigger risk of losing everything and having to start again.

You can connect to the internet. Because hats blocked connection to the Nintendo server so if you connect to the Internet, you’ll have no problem.
