Hey Jessica, As a Boss, I'm here to support you. This is perfect! And so simple. Really helpful because I'm in the computer alllll day. You should have heard all the POPPING in my neck and back as I was doing some of these stretches..... especially the last one. Thanks! LCSW completely. Please reciprocate. Cheers!! Pierre
Glad you enjoyed these! Yes haha you can definitely get a good release with these! I get a few time to time 😊! Thank you for the support and of course!
Oh my gosh this is so needed for me you have no idea. I actually just did a yoga session on neck and shoulder pain so I'm going to do this one next. Thank you! New subscriber here :)
Thank you so much for this. I suffer from migrates for the last 5 years & it is due to wipe lash I had from a car accident. I definitely going to do this more regularly. Just subscribed 💛
I get chronic neck and shoulder knots, totally stress-related, so these exercises are gonna super handy! I usually use a trigger point therapy ball, but it can't get into the little areas in the neck like the towel can. Nice hack, thanks!
These are a big help! I'm definitely feeling more neck and shoulder strain due to working at home -- the dining room chair and my couch aren't great for working on the computer for hours... Thank you!
Thank you, Jessica! I will watch this again, following a long day of moving around:) I appreciate the energy and the joy with which you share this very helpful information! You are adorable! What made you become a physical therapist? You are shining!
Hi Sasha, Thank you for the kind words 🥰. I'm glad you found this helpful! I have been athletic since I was a kind and always was fascinated with the human body and how we can live a healthier life by staying injury-free so I went into the Therapy world 😊
@@JessicaDudas So cool! I almost became a physio myself- so I really resonate with you WHY:) the human body is such a universe of magic, womb wisdom, and power to activate and express our full potential by loving our experience of living inside of it, in harmony and health:):) And you are really aligned with sharing this wisdom and helping people use their own knowledge, heal, and thrive, so thank you!
Just this morning my neck woke me at 5 am again, this spot on the left side, I've had radiofrequency ablations, epidurals, nerve blocks, botox, PT, nothing has helped, even saw a spinal surgeon who said not a surgical candidate. I am going to buckle down and go back to daily stretches. These look good. Thanks!
Done all these for several years. Been to chiropractor working on scalene right side for 6 months. Making some progress but not much. Working for months on chin tucks... just cannot seem to get better. I am an active, highly motivated, play baseball 72 year old man. I've also done dry needling, PT, acupuncture, visited with Ortho. Pain in back of neck/skull. This has been a long slog but can't seem to get over the hump.
That felt great!!!! Boy, I needed it. All-day spent sitting in front of the computer 🤪 My neck and shoulders are so stiff. These neck stretches are excellent 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 My shoulders and neck are very grateful for this video 😆🙏🏻
Thanks Jessica! Am big on stretching right now, I was really sick this year and spent a lot of time in bed. Mobility exercises like these have been great for me now that I'm starting to feel better!
hey jessica! my name is zoe!! new sub here!! you have such contagious energy :) i think that these tips for the neck are soooo important because we spend so much time on our laptops these days! will def be using them ! would love to support eachother!
Love these tips especially using a heated pack before starting. I learned about moving the spine and neurological firing exercises to help my mom as she struggled with health issues. It was a program originally designed for alzheimer patients who need to workout from a chair. Love that front one. :)
Hi Lisa, thank you for sharing! Yes these ones are great for that reason. I really enjoy keeping these movements functional and applicable to most people! Glad you liked the last one, it’s my fav 🥰
Thank you Marcus! Give these a shot! You can focus more on the traction with the arm and your hand for the last one so that way it’s more comfortable on your neck 😊!
Hi Jessica, I just watched your Thoracic outlet syndrome video and followed the link to this video. I am in therapy for an active tigger point above my rhomboids and stiff shoulders which was getting worse throughout a month or two. I live in a country that I do not speak their language fluently and couldn't get proper consultation from my therapist. Although I know myself and I need to be in the know about my condition, next level curiosity I guess! With my yoga background I decided to educate myself to get a better idea of what my condition is and what the causes could be. In the beginning I could just tell when I go to forward fold, I feel the pain differently between my R shoulder blade and spine. That didn't get me anywhere, so I started learning about upper extremities muscle names and functions, learning anatomical movement definitions, etc. After first session of manual therapy I tried telling them the stiffness in my neck and the front of my shoulders are bothering me more than before, to the point that I showed them when I extend my neck the muscles in the front covering my throat are not extending equally... but they told it was cosmetic (!), until I came across your video🌱searching for subclavius muscle exercises. The professional information you provided is fantastic and answered a lot of my questions, thank you a million times.
Hey these are great! Been looking for better stretches for my tense head and neck!!! I am new to your channel❤️❤️ I hope we can support eachother, I am liking and subscribing now and look forward to seeing more! 😍
