- Today's makeover has been long in the works with many messages back and forth with my brother in Canada! I traveled from TX to BC to attend his wedding and give this mismatched dresser pair a fresh start. Using Behr's "Smokey Wings", a grey chalk paint, and some new hardware this pair looks like they belong together- just like the bride and groom!!!

You have a good attitude and the dressers turned out fine. I flew with my sanders and paintbrushes to my sisters in Denver and also painted 2 dressers to match. I ordered everything else from her home depot for curbside pickup!

They look great...I also like the bare wood top drawer...maybe with a light wash. But it's theirs to love.
I was thinking a wash would be great too but to each their own ♥️
Oh my poor dear you went through so much for these dressers I'm sure you must have been in the Panic the whole time but it's nice that you were able to see your family wish things would have turned out for your dressers however the end result is beautiful great job thank you for taking time from your holidays to share with us have a great weekend my dear friend

Aw bless Sarah. You really were under pressure. Such a shame that you had so many issues which ate into your valuable time with your family. I'm sure it's been a while since you've seen your parents and all with covid. I'm actually upset for you. Aw, I hope you get to spend a few days with no flipping with them all soon again. Was there NO WHERE inside you could have done these pieces? The end result is gorgeous. But i do agree with you...the raw wood drawers would have been fabulous!! Even with a wash of that gray !!
I didn’t want to risk getting paint or primer on mom’s floors- plus me and my sister and our families had all come from out of town and were staying with mom so the house was full of people and children! So no, there wasn’t really a safe space to do it indoors! Lol! All well that ends well!
