Exploring My Modded Wii (And Accessories)

Recently I bought a modded wii from my local retro game store, and I wanted to talk about it. So here I am, rambling on and on about this cool thing I have.

Putting this here since I’m getting COOKED for buying the modded Wii for the price I did. While yes, I know it’s extremely easy to mod a Wii and add homebrew for nothing. Tracking down safe versions of the games can be tricky. So I opted for convenience and bought one with all that pre installed. I’m just very lazy sometimes ☠️

I have had a Wii U for a long time, we had a Wii before we upgraded, and I just got a Japanese Wii (with game cube compatibility) and install US Software. Now I can have 4 players play CTGP R online at our house, and my friend can play too

17:00 the game was updated with support of GameCube controller and the gcn adapter

I would probably back up and copy the SD or the thumb driver wherever those games are saved on

@FaithfulComet it’s easy as just copy and paste onto another SD card which are a lot easier than thumb drives when it comes to finding compatibility with the system because not all thumb drives work on the Wii

you were in fact correct. i did have a Wii stored into my closet. and now it's modded to the BRIM

BTW, you can use the stars at the bottom left, then enable a setting to set the order based on the stars. You do need to able the setting again when you copy another game. (I use Usb loader to play my disk games without having to find my disks)

You can do a lot more with a modded WiiU. Also, the WiiU has actual Hdmi 1080p

My first paper Mario game was sticker star got it since it was cheap £5 in 2018 and I wanted a new ds game plus at the time I didn’t have a switch and they showed origami king on e3 so I wanted to play something like origami king

same as the Mario and Rabbids sparks of hope game since enjoyed demo and first one plus Mario rpg since played a bit on modded Wii and 2ds and it’s good game

@@grillion_ I got it with my og switch from a relative and guess what in 2021 I was bored so looked on eBay and found listing for gold version of it and had code shown in pic I put code in on eshop and it let me redeem it meaning that I got the dlc for free and previous owner didn’t use the code then afterwards I messaged the dude and said thanks for the free dlc code
