Today I'll be looking through most of the Wii Remotes released by Nintendo and some by third parties. I'll also be showing off the rarest Wii Remote.

Would you know of a videogame criticism UA-camr around 2015-2018, who would upload narrations with looping stock footage.
He made a 2018 video about "Flipnote Studio 3D" an why it failed due to Nintendo making it an exclusive on Club Nintendo.
And made a 2017 mario kart wii criticism, I remember one part where he was no clipping through the area where you can see a tunnel and a chain chomp in Mario Circuit (Wii).
He said he always hated this chain chomp, because it would always get him.

I remember using the Wii Motion Plus when it came out, they were pretty annoying and finicky most of the time. I'm glad we have Wii Motion Plus inside the the remote.
The Toad Wii remote I got a couple years ago was the best Wii remote I've ever used, the Wii Motion Plus was great and I've never had any issues with it.
this brought back memories.. i remember using the princess peach remote control as a kid- but personally my favorites are the tron and wii resort remote, never knew i'd learn about different types of wii remotes, though. great video!!!

Great video! I only ever had the original white Wii remotes growing up; I remember how exciting it was every time I went to a friend’s house and saw a new type of remote (even if it was one of the knock-off ones lol)!

The beef boss wiimote, and all of the poofesure wiimotes and nunchucks are my favorite wii accessories, sad that i cant seem to get it since theyre always sold out
If you want the Wii mote and I think nunchucks the beef one sells for quite a bit on mercari

Wii remotes (especially custom) are so goofy and cool looking I love it. I still have my special Mario Wii remote I got way back. It’s cool to see some Wii remotes get popular too with one example being poofesure and the toad Wii remote with Wii motion plus inside.
I recently discovered there was a Sonic Screwdriver styled Wii remote and I need it!it's stupid expensive online but I NEED IT
Great video and im sure its a lot happening all at once for you considering your sub count but just a few tips to make it better. Mainly just on the audio side of things. Better balancing the audio was a bit all over the place in this video and also rerecording any times you mess up. rather than just using the 1 take keep going until you hit a take your confident with. Other than that this really good. Very informal video and your personality is shining through in the video to make sure people arent just here for the topic but also for you the creator. I will also say you missed a very unique 3rd party controller shaped after the sonic screwdriver from doctor who. amazing video you have a great amount of knowledge in the editing department. looking forward to the next one.

I'm surprised you didn't mention the Sonic Screwdriver Wii Remote that was bundled with Doctor Who: Return to Earth. Oversight or is this something you hadn't discovered yet?
I have 2 of those remotes. I love them both. I was using them to play Skylanders on my Wii. I hate that I cannot replace the batteries.
1, I can still use wirelessly but the other I have to keep it plugged in. It has a dead battery. I do my best to keep the other one charged. I know it will eventually stop working also and I will have to then keep it plugged in. I did purchase these used.
I tried to find the batteries for these screw driver remotes. Found them at Aliexpress and ordered 2 but, whoever filled my order went out on their own and sent me supposedly the newer model longer life battery without asking me first. It's a completely different battery number. The battery connection is too big. I had to ask for a return and ask them why they didn't just send me the batteries that I ordered. I told them the battery connection is bigger and does not fit. I told them that I want what I order. Not the alternative to what I ordered. The newer model is bigger. They didn't want the batteries back but, they gave me a refund. I still have those batteries.
When I tried to reorder the correct batteries, they were sold out. They never got them in again. They should have still had them in stock. Why didn't they send everyone else the newer version of the battery. Why just me. I am still very, very, mad about that because I think the batteries were discontinued. That was around 3 years ago. I checked for about 7 to 8 months after the fact but, I never found them again. I have not checked again since. No one else had them. I may get the battery number and check to see if I can find them. No one probably has them anymore.
@@angelachavez7720I've not seen that wiimote but as a tinkerer, there's likely screws and seams you can open to access the "non removable" battery and replace it. I replace such batteries in my devices all the time and it's usually quite easy, you just look online for the same batteries and put it exactly how the old one used to be. It'd be a shame to let your beloved thing become e-waste.

I found the gold zelda one at my local gamestore for legit 50 dollars. Which is a bloody steal compared to online prices of this variant.
Aside from missing the wrist strap, this was in amazing condition
We had the bowser, toad, yoshi, and peach ones for our Wii U at one point, my dad liked playing with the bowser one lol. I think the bowser and toad ones are still at his house and I have the peach and yoshi ones, the peach one is my Wii remote of choice. I only have black and white nunchucks and they both look good with the peach one!

Man, I'm so mad they never released a solid green and yellow wiimotes, they made all these games like wii sports with blue, red, green and yellow to identify the players but never made wiimotes for the last 2 colors

I'll Die on that saying I like the black Wii better than the white Wii. Sure, it produces more scratches, but to me that's a lot better than pure white that gets dirty and yellowed over time. I purposely bought a black Wii years ago for that reason.
As someone who grew up with the white Wii, I’m inclined to agree with you😭 my white Wii and Wii toes got so crusty and nasty over time I had to deep clean them a few years back😭 I feel like black would hide the grime better lmao

Third party Wiimotes are terrible, specially if trying to use them with Dolphin because they keep disconnecting.

old school (the brand) wii remotes are funky but i love the nunchucks the blue grip on white is great, a good remote though would be the a power remotes those had built in leds were smaller for some odd reason but didnt have wii motion plus so that marshmello may come in handy i say may cause the last thing about the a power remotes, they were smoother, like more tube shaped idk how that would work with the wmp marshmellow. i had the pink one but they came in other colors honestly goated controller, may get one to slap its board into a diffrent shell

i saw an ebay listing of the skyward sword one AND the 25th anniversary cd AND skyward sword WITH THE CASE sell for like 60 bucks on ebay the other day and i was so upset I missed it that ive started checking every day for such a deal its becoming a problem i want that damn wiimote

My family got two wii motion plus remotes when wii sports first came out we figured nintendo would make more games that needed it just for them to never be used again. I still pisses me off 😒😒😒
I spent 800 bucks on new sealed Wii remotes they are white Wii motion plus and I got 5 of them so if you want to get official ones sealed expect to pay 180 per remotes but if you get the ones with Wii U branding I know someone who got 4 toad editon remotes all sealed for *400* together they are cheaper because they where produced much more recently and some 3rd party seller have them ok Amazon for 70 but a little sketchy some listening and the company’s selling them don’t seem like great companies so they might not be sealed they might be complete but not sealed I recommend going for the Mario line ones because they can be found well (btw I’m talking sealed) cheaper like I said they don’t seam to go for as much sealed
