Just give them a tug. The clips slide into the vinyl and are held by friction

There's only tons of videos telling people how awful this actually is... and after getting suckered into buying one, it was returned and videos like this that make it seem so simple just irk me... because it does not work like this.

I'm sorry it didn't work for you.This video is of me using it exactly as I show it and it's always worked for me. I'm not getting paid to do this video and I bought this product years ago so it wasn't even gifted to me, so my opinion of this product is all my own.
