At this point tiger was playing his best golf I mean from 06-08 he won more than half of his tournaments he played that’s insane I say this was his best era people say 00-03 but he wasn’t as good in that era than he was he won 7 in a row that’s insane he did 6 in 2000 if he didn’t get into that accident he would have 100 wins 20 majors and still playing
I was running through the trees at the '07 Buick trying to catch up to a friend and when I reached the edge of a fairway I saw a ball drop down and stop right at my feet. Literally. I resisted the instinct to pick it up and thought it would be a good idea to wait and see what happens. I stood alone with the ball for a good couple of minutes, then spotters and officials came. Then a big galley and finally Tiger Woods. In my first and only pro golf event I was treated to a front row center view of his shot from the galley
Agreed. Quick question for a newbie, why was Tiger allowed to "drop" his ball Twice, just to pick it up and place it in the best possible position?? I'm sure there's rules here he followed.... I just don't understand them. Lol
2007 is actually tied with 2000 for Tiger's best season scoring average in his career at a ridiculous 67.79. 2008 was on pace to be his best ever, as his average was at 67.65 before the season ending knee/leg injury at the us open. Tiger did what he did in his career with basically missing his prime. Your prime in golf is usually 30 to 40 yrs old, and Tiger was proving that it was going to be the start of his until the injuries hit hard at 32. Watching this series made me realize he had a knee surgery after the 2002 season that put him out for 2 months and the back problems started in 2006. I didn't realize they started that early.
@@willstuart4504 He was allowed relief from the cart path. Had to drop 2 club lengths away (no closer to hole) and land it within 2nd club length. His first 2 drops would've still required him to be standing on the cart path, so he got to place it within that 2nd club length in a spot where he wouldn't have to stand on cart path with metal spikes.
Yes. But, he didn't win three (3), consecutive, majors, in 2007. Including, winning one, by, fifteen (15) shots (which, is, still, a record winning margin in a major).
@@jamesadams1213 Thanks mate, I understand now.👍 Much appreciated. Did you see the clip where 10 fans rolled a 400lb boulder outta the way to give Tiger a clear shot??🤣🤣 Hey, if it's all in the rules, why not?? Lol

Nice year. But, we saw 'peak-Tiger' in 2000. Still, for many, other players, it was a 'CAREER-year.'
