Lovely to have you back Trish. Hope your health continues to improve. I’m on a big destash this year again too. Good luck and love to all of you on the farm. 🤗
@ wouldn’t that be wonderful! I am determined to get my fabric down to a manageable amount. I’m passing on fabric that I don’t love or using it for toiles.
Getting back in the sewing saddle! Hope all is well in your neck of the woods. Im guessing you have snow. Its chilly willy here. I LOVE IT!! Hugs to you my sweet friend❤
Oh Trish it's so lovely to see you and have you back on #FS ❤. Missed your videos so much. Love the wheel and it chose the best fabric first 👏🏼 (well I loved all of them but I think that's the easiest!). The minute you held it up I thought 8640!!!!😂 I'm so glad you liked your pressies and wow what a lovely gift from Deb, I love that she included the animals in the theme. I really hope the wheel works for you to get motivated, it really has for me. ❤ Now, get sewing 😂😂😂 xxx luv you xxx
Youve got me all inspired with the wheel! I hope you are having a fun Austrian vacation and not freezing your butts off! It is chilly in Florida and I LOVE IT!! Missed seeing your video this week😢 hello to Chris and yall have an amazing holiday!!! Love you❤
Lovely to see you! I hope your health continues to improve and you enjoy your FWoF make. That is beautiful fabric and maybe the palazzo pants would be a nice change from dresses. Happy sewing! 😊-Deborah
Hi Trish! It’s so good to see you. I hate you had shingles so bad. I had them 4 times in one year a couple years ago. It’s hard! I’m so excited about the #fabricwheeloffate! The rayon your wheel chose is lovely. Looking forward to seeing what you make. ❤Diann
OMG 4 times with the shingles?!!! That sounds like pure misery. Im getting the vaccine as soon as I am 3 monts post shingles. Im still torn over whether I want to try pallazo pants or a dress. I need another wheel for these decisions lol! Have a great weekend Diann!!❤
She’s baaaaaack. What a lovely surprise. I always tune in to see what Carole has been up to but she’s away this Friday. I got the Shingrex vaccine so I’m hoping it does the trick. You’ve had a tough few months.😮
Hi Trish! I'm sorry you got shingles I've had shingles and it is absolutely a nightmare! I had a store area on my shoulder for months! Glad you feeling better though and I'm glad that you're doing the fabric Wheel of Fate! So am I! I am looking forward to seeing your make.
Oh Trish, I'm so sorry you were down with the shingles. My doctor has advised me to get the shingrix vaccine, so I am definitely making that a priority. Love the Fabrics you have on your wheel. I think your first choice will look great as a flowy blouse or dress. The love Notions Rhapsody blouse would be a great choice. I'm so glad you're feeling better and are doing the wheel of fate. A toast to being healthy in 2025 and playing in the sewing room. Take care my friend! Love Becky❤🥰
Hello from a cold but sunny England. I hope you feel better shortly. I am looking forward to seeing what you make. I am 66yrs of age on Monday so it will be interesting to see how similar or different styles are. Obviously weather differences will play a part but neverless I am still intrigued x
Hi Trish, I’m sorry to hear you had shingles, that’s just awful 😣 😣. I am so happy that you’re doing Fabric Wheel of Fate. What a great start with the blue Fabric, it’s gorgeous. Take care and stay warm, Karen 💖💖.
Hey Trish!!! So glad to see you back on YT. ☺ Had thought that you might have been busy with your real estate purchase and plans for building. Very, very sorry to hear about your bout with shingles - I hear it's EXTREMELY painful. 😟You poor thing!!!! I'm slowly but methodically getting my sewing rooms set up and organized, but still up for our lunch at Grills. Name the date and we'll make it happen! Looking forward to seeing you at some point! 💟 Dori P.S. Can't wait to see what you make with your Hawaiian fabric!
Dori we need to plan lunch asap! Real estate plans are coming along but we are probably at least a year out from building. I’m anxious to get back to sewing. Look forward to meeting up with you. How bout in the next couple weeks??❤
@@pinkysfarm461 Next couple of weeks work for me! Any day but Wed. or Thurs. works for my schedule. I have church on Sun. am, but weekend would work also. 🥰 While I'm up in that direction, I'm planning a trip to Hobby Lobby and Costco, if you're interested in that also.
It’s great to see you too. Sorry about those shingles. I probably told you in late October I was misdiagnosed with cancer. Of course it took a month to find this out. On January 14. I was supposed to have my gallbladder removed laprascopic. That didn’t happen. I woke up from surgery with 10 inch incision just under my R breast and spending 4.5 days in hospital. With the surgery and snow today was first day I came out of pajamas. Pain is about gone but still weak. Hopefully next week I’ll feel like some sewing. Like you said at least it’s not cancer.
OMG how traumatic for you though! Glad you are better and hopefully feeling back to yourself again soon. Maybe a little sewing will be a nice distraction. Prayers for you!!!❤
Glad you’re starting to feel better! I hope you make a cute summer dress from the Hawaiian print. The linen screams tunic to me and the waffle could be a lightweight robe. Glad you’re back, I was missing you ❤
Oh great ideas, especially the robe. I have to wear a robe every morning when I go out to feed the farm, and that would be a great summer weight! Thanks for watching!!
You look good! I’m glad you are finally feeling better. I bet you recommend getting the shingles shot. I would hesitate making anything with the really lightweight knit that doesn’t have any recovery. I made a top in something similar and threw it away. It wasn’t worth my time.
Oh Trish, so sorry you were down with the shingles! I'm definitely going to get the shingrix vaccine. Love your fabrics! I think your first choice will look great! #fwof! To being healthy in 2025!💓🥰
I have the perfect swing top for your green linen bird fabric! It’s one of my TNTs. I think I’ve made at least 8 of them! (It’s view A). It looks good in linen types, then completely different in drapey, silky types. I think you would LOVE it. And it only takes 2 yds of 45”! Go look at it! 😻
@@pinkysfarm461 Sorry! Can’t BELIEVE I forgot the most important part!! Butterick 5652 - view A. (I’m pretty sure it’s still available in catalogue.) GET IT!
How about the Toaster sweater for the leopard print ?i reach for the toaster loads it’s so easy to ware 👍 and the Zalia dress for the Linen 👍 from one belly to another 😘😘😘
Very pretty fabric to get started with! I have the same problem - a lot of fabric that needs to be used or let go - what was I thinking? I can't sew as quickly as I can buy fabric, plus I can only wear one thing at a time anyway - I need to be more disciplined and realistic!
It’s good to see you again. I’m looking forward to following you with the #fabricwheeloffate. 😊
Oh no shingles please take care its great to see you we have missed you ❤😊😊
Aw thanks Robyn. I miss my Friday Sews family. Just thankful to be feeling normal again. Have a lovely weekend!❤
Yay! Good to see you back! And another wheel of fate participant! Even better❤❤Happy Sewing 🧵!❤❤Mary
Thanks Mary!! Im excited to be back!!!❤
Lovely to have you back Trish. Hope your health continues to improve. I’m on a big destash this year again too. Good luck and love to all of you on the farm. 🤗
I will pass along the farm love! Good luck destashing. Wish we could all get together and so a fabric trade!❤

I was fortunate to have a mild case but oh my, my butt was sure mad at me.
Trish, I’ve missed you so much! Glad you feel better 😊 love all your choices ❤. Can’t wait to see what you make 😊
Thanks Stephanie! Great to hear from you!❤

It is so great to see you back! I'm on a fabric buying band also I just haven't told myself it yet!😅😅😅
I could start a fabric store of my own with all this fabric I have! I have done 2 giant purges and still have too much. Its shameful excess.
@pinkysfarm461 Lolol. You know if I had the room for it I probably would do the same thing so I'm not laughing at you I'm laughing with you! 😁
I forgot to mention it to myself, too.
I like the yellow print for 8640
