The bag on 6095 was the bag I made for the Expo last year, a nice quick fun make. I like your addition of the ruffle, that looks like it was meant to be. My niece lives in Unionville, New York and we are going up to visit her and yes, we are going to the garment district and I will make them stop in at least one fabric store, probably Mood. Lovely dresses! God created my wiggly jelly arms so my grandchildren could giggle , snort, and fall over. Then get back up & wiggle grandma’s arms again & repeat.
Hi Trish, the S9596 Jennifer Paginelli fabric dress ended up really nice, i can believe you shaved off 8 or 10 inches fro the original! I like the look with the ties at the back, ig keeps the pockets separated. Awww Romeo is stunning!!
Your dresses are lovely. The blue fabric looks beautiful. I never seem to find / see fabrics that I love and end up with something that’s just ok and never gets sewn up. I’m going to have to start shopping on line…..
I have had alot of luck with Fabricmart, and etsy shopping for fabric. I have a tendency to buy only patterned fafric and not solid. Im a sucker for a whimsical fabric. Have a great week❤
@@pinkysfarm461 I made 8640 out of a printed quilting cotton and hated it on me. I think I will look for a softer fabric that will drape and not stick out like a tent.⛺️
I'm not surprised that the S9596 pattern is designed by the same person who designed the S8640. Looks like the same pattern, but with different photos. Your pink dress make is BEAUTIFUL! Please post photos of your lovely makes! The ties on both dresses were good additions. Nice NL6095 make. What a fun dress! Your Siamese cat dress is so pretty! I'm glad to know about long sleeve clothing in FL. There are tops and dresses I've been wanting to make for a while that have long sleeves. Will have to plan on making them sleeveless or with very short sleeves when I'm able to get back to sewing again. The Fab 5 are such thoughtful gift-givers! So much fun to see what you all give to and receive from each other. 🙂

That fabric is by Liberty and its called Tana Lawn. They make tons of pretty prints in it.
