@@DanKoning777 Let's say that the little "bump" on the battery is .5mm in height. Just 10 cells in series will be 5 mm added to the size of the battery pack. Also, cells will probably be re-welded. A nice smooth surface gives you a better connection.
If the battery were loaded from the motor side ('back') you could see the result without removing the battery and flipping it over. WOW, you've got lots more parts and stuff than I have collected! Really nice work. Thanks for sharing.
you may want to have a magnet or vacuum or stand the device up on end so the pieces are pulled away because all it takes is one tiny piece to drop in the positive end of the cell to cause a short.
One of the greatest ideas. Would love to see a manual version with no welding. Something us newbies can do easily. But again a wonderful idea and build.
Why not have him build you one. Then you wouldn't have to learn anything, like adapting his design to something you can build with the tools and materials you have on hand. SMH
Nice idea, never even knew you could build something to remove 18650/21700/26650 spot weld marks. I will just keep with my old method of using cutters to remove whatever I can. Also, hope you have a good way of sharpening that tool, as the cutting edge will become blunt over time with trying to scrape away so many pieces of metal.
Wow what a amazing job you doin that thing..so intelligent creative you just made those.. that’s awesome.. god bless all.. thank for sharing video, you inspired me...
Well done , but be careful : you must absolutely not cut the insulation ring on the positive pole of the cell to avoid any (big) short immediately with the big blade!
Great innovation and a wonderful final result . However, I just wonder , how about adding a limiting block to not push the battery way too inside the groove. I mean , its now manually dependent on how much we push it inside .
it depends. removing spot welds by hand and using a dremel is exhausting. disassembling only one bike battery usually is around 50 cells. building this thing also is fun plus a huge help. ill build one ;)
@@catsnotcops_ If this was much more replicable such as using 3d printing, it would've been great but for a one time ebike project doesn't make much sense imo. But if you play with cells a lot it would be a great idea.
Congratulation. Could you give a link to the plan to make the mechanical parts only. So the shape and dimensions of the mechanical parts. Thank you for sharing.
⚠You can remove all the electronics and only use the DC motor! when you use limit switches and a index pin welded the rail. (ok, also 1 switch for up and 1 for down) It's much cheaper that way 🙂
Excellent work. I wish I had such a machine. If you can make a machine like it, I will buy it from you and send it to me to Saudi Arabia. Please write to me if you would be so kind. If you agree.

ok greate but why would you need some sort of electronic process for this? only reason I can see this is if it is able to push the batteries through in a chain and do each one independently in an automated system otherwise just put a lever to move the cutter up and down by puling down on it lol
I literally spent hours this week removing spot welds and solder from 18650's. Jehu needs to build some of these!
May I ask why people need to remove the welds/solder to begin with?

@@hippie-io7225 // Gotcha 👍 Thanks
Sure Jehu needs these done
If it takes similar time to build a machine as it does to do it without one it's definitely worth building the machine.
probably the most useful video on this whole channel. If I ever need to bulk process cells this is what I'll build

You are very creative with your ideas. Just wondering if you have a parts list so others can make one to?
this is the real creative project 👌
One of the greatest ideas. Would love to see a manual version with no welding. Something us newbies can do easily. But again a wonderful idea and build.
Been there done that! Pretty sure shipping cost a Pretty penny. @CreativeChannel
The weld was usually less than 1mm wide, so a hand lever chisel should be enough.

Something I've found helpful, is to use a nail file after the cutters to clean it up some
Hello mister beautifully made good job well done

You can find links to buy the servo with this search string: TZT DC 12V/ 24V DH-03X Large Torque Alloy Servo 380kg/cm 160A Mechanical Arm for Robot RC
Awesome, why no likes for this comment
Can you build some garden lights with 18650 battery? 🤔
I watch your video from India 🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳
This is the best tool ever
Great tool but please mention the circuit used bro nice job very much necessary for battery guys like me!!
I wish i had your magic drawers, there is always what you need.
Would love one of these, sure would save frustration.
what a nice and a brilliant project.....i like ur work honestly

I really love your work brother, plaese try to speak English, everyone speak English brother, easy to learn man, thanks ❤️❤️
Currently only about a fifth of the globe uses English but it is fast becoming the world's common language.
Good job.
What is this servo with Implemented arduino board called…?? They seem salvaged from something since you got quite a few
its very convenient if you are working in table not always on the floor!
Very well said

Anyone have a name or model number for that servo motor/driver setup? Looks like a 774 motor
Yes a link or model number would be nice thank you
search for ASMC servo motor line

You should add a catch bin for the sheared tabs
Instead of using your hand you can make it a circle so you don't have to grab it every time
what a clever idea..how about the materials?

This is super cool! I want to build one! What is that servo thing you have that drives the cutter. This is the one part I can find or build.
That blue box is a servo tester, you can find it at RC-shops.

Its called dh-03x on eBay
Very nice work . Are the dyson batteries any good for ebike packs ?
Beautiful
Great!
Super really nice 👍
Different thoughts 😍
Nice, but I'm not sure if that force cannot induce deformation and leakage. Other solution could be a grinding wheel to reduce the stress on the cap.
How to get the motor and the motor controller?
What's the pcb you used?

Ready to buy one. What is the price?
All these motors and control circuits…a simple solenoid hooked to a relay and a button would have done the job.
I want to know which servo motor is this
Please give reply
What do you say in 16:24? Why did you change the servo?
