- Today I will repaint another Monster High doll and this time we will turn her into Tinker Bell fairy from Peter Pan and other Disney movies. We will reroot her hair, repaint her face and make lots of accessories for her.

She's perfection! Also, loving seeing the whole face come off on the acetone-soaked pad at the beginning. If only removing a full face of makeup were so easy, lol.
A good Melting Balm will allow for removal with wipes or cotton rounds 👌

Okay but I was literally thinking that I hoped that Poppen would recreate when tinkerbell got caught in the lantern by Captain Hook because it always seemed so cute how she was like a little light. But instead she got her own little lantern! Super cute!

Have you ever seen The Last Unicorn? It's a fantastic animated movie from the early 80s where a unicorn gets turned into a human and I think she'd make a beautiful doll.

This doll is adorable. And that was great idea with this lamp and chair, because in the films about Tinker Bell she was pictured as an inventor type of fairy so she could make them 😀
My theory about Sleeping Beauty’s eyes is simple: Disney marketing emphasizes Sleeping Beauty’s purple eyes because there is already a blonde princess with blue eyes. I collect Disney dolls. It is literally one of the few ways to tell Cinderella and Aurora apart🤷🏾♀️

my theory is that she was born with blue eyes, but the red and blue fairy fought over the colour of them, and they ended up purple
I always figured her eyes were like Piper McLean's eyes in Heroes of Olympus, kind of like they couldn't decide which color they wanted to be
Tbh I would’ve thought the only argument that would happen over sleeping beauty is the notorious argument of colour of the dress.
My guess about what happened is that most people don’t understand that the older Disney movies and shorts are made using old school animation (think flip book). This was time consuming and not cheap, they even had an ink department to do all the colouring, and because of how costly everything was, they opted to use some of the reels that had minor mistakes.
As an artist and future animator it isn’t that deep, big image (specially hand drawn animation) scenes can’t have much detail, if from that far they gave her blue eyes it would look weird, for the sake of rounding they gave her darker eyes, it’s done a lot in animation, her eyes are blue not purple, she’s a blonde with blue eyes there’s not much mystery there, sorry to burst your bubble

You did a perfect job! Because she is childlike, the drawn lashes are more suitable. I think the lashes depend on the character.
Agreed , most should be up to the character of the doll , and her personal choice.
If you ever do watch any of the Tinker Bell movies it would be great to see you make the other characters! I’m dreaming of the group of them all sitting together in different flowers, and I don’t think I could ever get tired of watching you make those stunning wings 🧚♀️

I think that would be cool, however, she takes existing dolls and makes new dolls.
The Avatar bodies have unique proportions, I can’t think of any doll that could be used to make them 🤔
If she can find something that would work that would be great!

Beautiful. I’m really impressed with your wing design and making. Regarding the lashes. I think it depends. The hand drawn eyelashes on Tinkerbell are perfect. Maybe a more mature doll makeover needs false eyelashes. For example, the evil ones.
First, I love the doll and think the accessories are super cute. Pertaining to the lashes, however, I feel that it depends what character is being made. For example, if the character is more glamorous or has a big larger than life personality, false lashes help accentuate that look. If the character is more soft and sweet like Tinkerbell or Rapunzel, drawn on lashes help to give off a more cute look
I think it's amazing how you always choose the doll with the perfect bone structure for the character! wonderful work as always, lots of kisses from Brazil ❤

It's true! :) tinkerbell seems like she will fall apart any second to be, because she is such a thin little fairy. I'm so in love how she always creates these effects!

I am a HUGE fairy fan and I absolutely LOVE her! I love how you've drawn the lashes I think you can see her eyes more. And honestly the flower chair is to die for! When I was younger and collecting dolls, I would inspect every inch of her and the accessories she came with so I really appreciate the detail and the time you take to put the detail into the accessories that you make for your dolls not only the quality that you put into the doll.
I think it would be cool if you made a couple bonus videos showing us how you organize your supplies, or your closet full of old dolls waiting for make overs! They could be short but come out on a Friday when you don't have a doll repaint ready.

I love how you're reusing common household items like the empty box for the flower seat.
A lot of channels use a lot of store bought stuff, which is not very ecologically responsible.

She's a lovely little thing and I prefer the drawn eyelashes on these smaller dolls. I think the scale is more accurate. I also prefer yarn hair for scale on these little ladies.
Definitely one of the best you've ever done!! And I prefer a combination of both drawn and false eye lashes.
Drawn lashes give her a youthful look. False lashes mature, "sexy" look.

Nah they blue lol check the book they just had too many hands and played around with the “aurora” aspect of her eyes changing with the room she’s in.
Aurora’s eyes are blue! When she wakes up it’s literally blue, I still don’t understand how someone can see that as purple hahaha!
