One of my closest friends, Selene, passed away nearly five years ago. She was named after the moon goddess, and today is her birthday. Seeing this in my subscription feed felt like a sign from the universe that she’s still out there♥️
I feel like this needs to be a series: a doll inspired by the Sun and one by each of the planets in the Solar System, including Pluto, and maybe even the elusive Planet X.
A doll for the sun and one for each planet would be amazing!

I like that her eyes are closed because it reminds me of how I was told as a kid that the moon sleeps during the day....seems fitting.
To make dolls look really different you could experiment with animals eyes ones that have unique pupil shapes like goats cuddle fish and lizards

I don't know why, my brain wants to see her eyes opened, and they look like the void of space. Which is actually pretty cool, if a little less peaceful than when I force myself to see them closed.

Have you ever seen Avatar: the last Airbender? It is an animated show and has a lot of good character designs. This doll reminded me of Yue from the show who was a girl who became the spirit of the moon. And there are also the Kiyoshi Warriors who are female warriors with awesome face paint. It is a heartfelt and funny series if you ever feel like watching something to get a feel for new characters to make.
Poor Sokka. His girlfriend became the Moon. I like to think that Yue is up there, watching over him.

You should try a goddess series! There are many diff religions to choose from, but making your own would be so much better!

Something I find interesting is that in difference to majority, in some mythologies, as the Norse, there is a Sun goddess and a Moon god. ☀️🌙 However, loved the makeover ♥️
In Mesopotamian pantheon the moon god Nanna is the father of sun god Shamash.
In Greek and Roman mythology, the sun and moon deities are male and female. Though only the god and goddess are related. The two titans, Helios and Selene, are where the romance between sun and moon comes from there.
Japanese Mythology also has a sun goddess, Amaterasu and a moon god, Tsukuyomi, who are part of a triad with a storm god, Izuna. Which the three are siblings, I find it interesting that in most mythos the sun and moon are either related (be it twins or parental relation) or have a romance, really brings home the fact that both need each other in some capacity to have a kind of balance.

At some points I can’t help but to see the eyes as open glowing blue orbs instead of closed and it looks just as beautiful that way too

She's such a unique doll. I really love how she looks in the dark. The dress is gorgeous and adore the faceup.
It would have been really cool with dramatic, winged white eyeliner that’s also glow in the dark, especially with the closed eyes. It would have made them stand out more with everything-else going on with the headpiece and the dress. But it’s lovely as always! :*

You kept saying sil-ee-nee, and I'm curious is it another way to pronounce Selene (sil-ee-n) (i.e. a culture difference in pronunciation, or perhaps another writing?) or is it another goddess you are speaking of entirely?

Blue, black and purple are the colours of the night sky so of course she can´t make it green instead.

Every part of this doll is amazing! The dress is gorgeous, the face-up is beautiful, the shoes are really fitting for the look, and the crown just ties it all together. Absolutely Amazing!
Honestly, when you said you'd paint the face galaxy-style I was thinking, "Meeeehhhhh, not sure about that ... " right up until you started flicking stars on the forehead, and then suddenly it all came together and I could see what you were visualizing. This is really a stunning idea, beautifully realized.
I still think a Ziggy Stardust or Aladdin Sane would be a fantastic add=on to your diva dolls!

This is definitely one of my favorite dolls of yours to date! The galaxy skirt is iconic and the glow-in-the-dark is a really cool feature! The moon hat is superb too! I bet this sold out pretty quick!

Nothing wrong with loving each and every doll you create. You spend a lot of time and creativity on them and it's awesome that you fall in love with them when you're done. It just means that you love the work that you do and that's most important.

i can't believe how nice she can make clothing out of ribbons. I'm terrible at making things with ribbon OTL . Maybe you can make a whole line of space-themed dolls , like a star goddess or a comet themed doll etc I think you would do such a good job of it .
