Make a hybrid using many of the monster body parts that you have cut off over the years. Horse, head, deer legs, webbed hands, and find the oddest torso that Monster high has. Make the whole outfit from warbla mesh.

Oh a kelpie would be cool I read a story where a kelpie and a water nymph teamed up to lure men to their death it was really cool I remember wanting to know more of their background then the main character the story was about. Would be super cool to see dolls of them

The doll you used as a base is Isi Dawndancer! She’s from the first line of Exchange Students. She’s one of my absolute favorite MH designs and I’m kind of sad she only ever got one release, I feel like her fashion style had so much potential and it was kind of cool to see some Native rep.

I also thought the size difference was ridiculous, I usually love her projects but this one...sadly thats a nope from me.
She could have used her hair cover her back etc she could have made a mane, every unicorn I've ever seen has a beautiful mane and tail. I know it's just my opinion but she really missed the mark on this doll

Well said! There is so much competitiveness, especially in the beauty channels, always trying to get one over each other. And it’s totally unnecessary! I used to watch many beauty channels, all the time. For the last year+, I haven’t watched any, except fro ThatgirlShae, as I think she is like Marina..honest, funny and down to Earth. I only discovered poppen atelier about 3 weeks ago and now I’m binge watching her other videos. I used to do OOAK Barbie many years ago, but then had 2 more children and I didn’t have the time....it’s all sitting in a huge crate. Marina has inspired me to think about taking it up again. You do such amazing work Marina (and mum 😊) you are a great inspiration, please don’t ever change! You are perfect, I LOVE your dolls and your personality ❤️❤️❤️

The false lashes definitely work well for this one because Horses have really long lashes anyway to keep dust and insects out of their eyes xx

It would be really cool to see a dullahan doll- The Headless Rider. It’s a bit more sinister and he/she carries a whip made of a human spine.

On a similar yet different subject, have you ever watched any of the monstrum videos from the storied channel? They've got some great videos about the nuckelavee and the dullahan; i don't think they've done one on the kelpie yet. Anyway, highly recommend that series.

You could combine the deer body and a Rochelle Gargoyle head. Rochelle's face mold is perfect for an innocent deer face and you could make a mystic deer like spirit?

I still gave it a thumbs up because I’m a fan… but I was a bit surprised by Maryna’s choice of doll. The marshmallow house is such a unique idea though. Brilliant! It’s the wiche’s house from Hansel and Gretel, isn’t it?
But look at the doll's head - if the horse body was smaller, it might look worse
The horse height was ok, it will look wired if horse legs are shorter then doll legs. The problem is that I don't think you would be able to find a horse that is as skinny as monsterhigh dolls.

My thoughts exactly the horse body was huge for that monster high doll torso it was even smaller than the horse's neck width
You should do a horse with 3 heads, or a unicorn with two heads or something like that with the remaining head

It was so interesting how when you darken the eyes, and then added the highlights you mad eyes glow. The eyes are my absolute favorite part!
Marina, I giggle every single time you remove the factory paint and show the camera the “shroud of Turin” you make on the cotton pad. Every single time.
I like the final product despite myself, I must admit! It’s definitely “kawaii,” which is not my usual reference, but I like it!
Wow, loved the idea and make-up very much! However, the proportions of the horse body and doll's torso were a bit strange for me 🤔 so I guess this is not my favourite doll, but I still love all your other dolls and will be waiting for your next gorgeous projects! 💜
When I saw the proportions of the doll and the horse there was a "no way" but it works! Thanks to the house, everything is harmonious, that's incredible. Great job.
I imagine there are fairies inside the little house making birdseed treats that the unicorn then delivers around the forest like an ice cream truck :)

Isi Dawndancer is probably my favorite MH doll, so on one hand I'm excited to see her customized, but on the other, I'm sad to see her marred XD

You could totally turn the Faun girl into a Baobhan Sith (ba-VAN-shee) doll! They're a type of vampiric fairyfolk from Scotland who use a fairy glamour to make themselves ethereally beautiful to hunt down men with wayward hearts. They have pale skin, long silky hair, sharp nails & fangs when not using the glamour, & always wear a floor length green dress to hide their cloven deer feet. 💚

Sometimes when I see customized dolls like this that fuse two dolls together by sawing them in half and such it makes me think that if Toy Story was real, what the toys would think of Doll Painters/Modifiers... I guess we're all just Sid. But at least we take discarded dolls and give them new life? Yay?
Lovely Repaint! I think the Horse was a bit too big for a Monster High Doll personally to become a centaur, it looked very comical when you tried to connect the two together, it's better to get a horse whose neck is the same thickness/width of the doll's torso, so the connection is seamless :)
Oh tell me about it. Toy story ruined me lol. I can't pick up a stuffed animal without bringing it home because I'm sure it is all excited that it's got a new home then I break it's heart by putting it back on the shelf. I'm 35 years old and still do this lol
I think using a horse that would better match the doll in size sounds good in theory, but I'm pretty sure that horse would look pretty messed up. I mean, can you imagine a horse with the same proportions as a Monster High doll?!😳
However, it's true a smaller horse probably would have worked at least a little better in this case. If somebody else was going to try making this, I would definitely look at Breyer horses. They have so many different breeds, colors, and sizes, I'm sure one of them would work!

Can you make an Ethnic/BIPOC Centaur Doll? Maybe like a Native American/Indigenous Centaur? D&D has a character called a Cervitaur. Maybe one of those? I don't know if this is possible, but I've never seen a dark colored Deer/Elk Centaur before.

As someone who doesn't like pink, gold or really colours at all, I think this doll came together very well. You're so weird, imaginative and creative and I am constantly impressed and surprised by how amazing your dolls always turn out. Every time I think it looks finished you say, "Now to add some details" or "Now to add some accessories" or "Finishing touches" and I can't believe how much you put into them. Very beautiful artwork, just like you.
I absolutely loved the concept of the doll. But the house kinda thru it off for me. That's my opinion. But other than that it was a beautiful project. Please don't bash my comment. It's in no way taking away from the creators work. Some will absolutely love it or some will not like it. It's only a constructive criticism. You could have made her a pegasus, with very beautiful iridescent wings...but that's just my idea!! Maybe a pegasus' queen?! Who knows!

For Halloween, you can use the horse head for a Cegua doll. It's a monster from Central American folklore and super creepy and would make a perfect doll for October

The detached horse head immediately made me think of the Hobby Horse weapon from Alice: Madness Returns. So many stunning outfits in that game, and the weapons are super cool!

The Breyer model horses is a better match for MH and Barbie doll customs to centaurs. I have done several myself and it works great. This lil darling is adorable!
That is a great idea but it made my stomach drop because I collect Breyers and I imagined doing this to my $100+ USD horses.
@@leafpile4737 , no need to chop up the fancy volunteer SR ones. Been in that hobby since 86... Scruffed up bodies are better. Old FAM have been useful for me. The good stuff stays where it belongs: safe and sound!

I love the idea of hybrid dolls their unique and complex. They also can inspire cool ideas. I would love to see a kind of hybrid Vampire/Angel doll or something of the sort. I loved the video the end result was colorful and cheerful. Wonderful job.

Alice from Alice, Madness Returns has a weapon shaped like a hobby horse - essentially a horse head on a stick.
I'm not necessarily suggesting making her, but maybe you could use the head in a similar way?

It's funny how unconvinced I was until the end of the video. I thought the proportions, the colors, the global idea was absolutely off.
But wow! The final result is just amazing! Finally, this lovely creature seems to come straight from an actual dream where everything is weird but seems totally natural to us. This is maybe one of my favourite doll on this channel

This makes me miss my horses! We would use a product called ‘pony glam’ that would make their hooves gold! Also, she reminds me of a sweet version of baba yaga’s house!

I feel like you kind of went crazy on this doll - started with one idea and then just added and added! But that just goes to show how fluid creating is, I totally couldn’t see how this was going to work at first, the horse seemed far too big for the doll, the house idea seemed insane, then it all came together at the end into an absolutely GORGEOUS creation! I think this was maybe not ment to me made with the unnaturally thin monster high dolls. Maybe a curvy barbie. She has a broader torso and would look less proportionately mismatched. Especially since the horses body is stockier. Still beautiful.

The horse head made me think of the story The Goose Girl. It’s not the most well known fairytale because it was too graphic for Disney to turn into a movie but I loved that story.

Have you seen the movie Ever After?! Its one of my favorites- its a historical retelling of cinderella- but in it, at the ball, one of the stepsisters (the nicer one) wears a horse head decoration since its a masquerade. You should do something like that!
That paint job and hair is my childhood dreeeeam! And what an amazing ribbon dress! It really helped to blend the proportions. I love the detail of the small gold filigree at the base of the horn, too.
Also, the little flowers on the house are adorable!
