😂😂 this was good bro! I laughed so hard when you talked to your tent like it was a dog..lol I like your cot.. I have wanted to get one similar to that but I haven't, I still use the big clumsy one.. I like your tent and your stove a lot too! I was told to burn hard quality dead wood in my stove and the windows wouldn't get as black... I tried this once and it seems to help somewhat. I know the pain of burning yourself, seems like I do it about three or four times per camp out..haha I had Italian sausage links a couple of weeks ago, I love Italian sausage! You set off the bear spray and then picked your nose? 😂😂😂 I can only imagine the burn! Be very careful though, I saw some bear spray on your toilet paper Bahahahaha now that would literally be a pain in the butt.. 😂 I don't like wind either man, it's hard to do anything when it's windy, my lips get chapped, sometimes my cheeks get chapped and it just wears you out somehow. It's very obvious how much you love beautiful scenery, I'm glad you take the time to enjoy it, so many people don't, including myself sometimes.. loved the vid dude!
I appreciate that man! Glad you liked it :) I laughed out loud st the toilet paper comment, could you imagine 😂 I decided it's best I throw that out as it was pretty soaked.
Excellent video as always. But if I could make a suggestion. Don't split your wood beside the stove.if a piece was to fly and take out the glass you would be screwed.
I'm from Calgary and I tried hiking and camping around Kananaskis area but i have not tried few places you went to, i've watched alot of your video's man, looks good man. I recently updated my gear and also my tent . i took some suggestion from other fellow hikers and so far so good man.... what type of boots you're wearing there ? because the ones i bought but haven't tried it out is "UA HOVR Dawn Waterproof 2.0 Boots". Can't wait to test them out in few weeks. but as for socks, i was told to try very thin nylon dress socks and wear them with just the boots , apparently builds less sweat and in the rain when they get wet, they dry fast. or compression socks.. You should buy those man, you won't be disappointed :) and as for myself i ordered myself 5 pairs of black dress socks and a pair of navy blue compression socks .. I'll give you update on both the boots and the socks. hitting up the Rockies very soon :)
Thanks for watching man, hello to a fellow Calgarian! I am wearing the Salomon Quest 4 boots, they are awesome. As for socks I wear Merino wool socks normally, dress socks would work too depending on temperature. Let me know how those are :)

🤗
The landscape looks so beautiful! Another great (and funny) episode, thanks Nic!
Thankyou! I'm glad you enjoyed it and thought it was funny
It is really good that you spray yourself to let the bears know just how tough you are. ;)
Hahaha that made me laugh out loud!
Super relaxing video, thankyou. Glad that spray didn't get directly in your space! 😊
Thankyou!

That's a really really good point and not something I would have thought of, will definitely make sure I don't. Thanks!

Is that bighorn/abraham area? Nice view!
This is in the Waiporous/Ghost River area a little more south of Abraham. I do wanna head up near there and Jasper area at some point though!
I spent many summers camped at both ends of Abraham. The bighorn end sees tons of AtV traffic but the opposite end has none. My happy place!
Had one terrifying night broke down at the top of a mountain an hour west of sundre too. That was an adventure!
