Wow, well that was just fucking pure melodeath. Really pleasing for my ears. I personally really like this "older" sound in the production as well. I also liked Chemical Whore but I think I like this more, Guitars sound really nice and I really like his voice. Not the most technical but simple and effective. Need to check more from this band.
i like the music and i do tend to enjoy the older sound but the mixing on the new album sounds just heavy and chunky i love it
Hi Joseph! I find myself diving back in to these 90's death metal records (Hypocrisy, Death, Entombed, Pestilence) recently for some reason. I'd like to see you dedicate a day of the week for this older stuff (like throwback Thursday or something). There's tons of great metal there 🤘🏻 How familiar are you with early Entombed or Pestilence? I know there are not many great videos available and live recording are crap quality, but the isn't music the point, not the visuals? Nice job growing your subs man 😊👌🏻
Entombed i like the albums wolverine blues and morning star but havent dived super deep into that band. Pestilence not very familiar to be honest
Yeah I basically like that, certainly don't hear anything bad. It seems pretty basic but sometimes that's more effective. The groove is definitely there, so I see what you're saying about their long shadow, groove being one of the biggest things right now. Amen on metal musicians speaking their minds. Dio never shut up and I loved him for it. Great reaction!
it sounds basic cause its old. they literally influenced most of the melodeth bands.
@@lovemetal4884 wasn't meant as a criticism. A lot of bands today are obsessed with how many layers they can add and how many tweaks they can squeeze in, like the guitar gods back in the 80s. More isn't always better, sometimes basic is
