I followed it with pleasure and have to say that Crypta with Luana is one of the few bands where I look for interviews online because they really interest me as a band and musician. Interviews like this are so important, it brings you closer to the musicians in the band, how they think and what their work is all about. Crypta with Luana and Fernanda have already achieved so much with their 2 records and tour and now, looking back, the tour in 2024 is even more successful. I wish Luana as a musician and Crypta as a band continued success on their path, which they have firmly under control. Thank you

I found them through Papa Meat of all channels. I can't remember what video he shouted them out in but as someone who genuinely doesn't enjoy black metal and never thought I would seek it.... this band has absolutelyt enthralled me. Absolutely beautiful and so, so SO p[owerful. As an European immigrant who hates what was done to indiginouss populations/tribes in this continent this band's lyrics are heart achining. A whole culture at the brink of extinction. The rage and passion in their lyrics are cathartic.

Do check out a 3rd version by Crewish. Cover band made up of the road crew which at one time included Tapio Wilska before he found sucess as a singer. He is friends with Tuomas. I mention this because during lockdown Crewish released an album called Twice. And Tapio takes a death metal approach to singing on it. Tuomas did a whole new keyboard track and a bonus, Tarja sang her part of this song. All 3 recorded it seoerately. But the video is hillarious. Now I point out what Tarja does is dictated by who writes the music. When Tarja writes her own songs you see what she can do. Yes trained since her youth and continues to work with a vocal coach. You may watch this concert on Tarja Turunen HD to get a better sound . Tarja was co founder with Tuomas, and Emppu on guitar. Nightwish would have been a folk rock/country band until they heard Tarja sing after her schooling in Germany. Way too powerful for folk rock. BTW Floor met the band in 03. Her band opened for them in Europe that summer. They are still friends Tarja & Floor. Tsrja gave Floor her blessings when the band offered her the gig. Tarja did it live on stage in Belgium fall of 2012. They sang Over the Hills together.

Simply Tarja conveys emotion feeling magic and charm to the music besides being pleasant to listen not because the music was made for her to sing.
