I bought an X1C at Microcenter, and the salesman explained that they had a 3 year extended warranty available for the price of $300. He explained that in the event of a problem, I could carry the printer back into the store and get a replacement with no questions asked. The alternative would be to deal with Bambu in China and that the shipping times and costs would probably be close to $300 if I had to ship the printer back to them on my dime. I usually don't buy extended warrantees, but i did for this one, and I don't have any regrets. About two weeks later, I experienced a problem with the AMS that I couldn't resolve. I got the printer (and AMS) swapped out for a brand new one (in the box) the same day (hour) at Microcenter. I thought $300 for an extended warrantee was a big pill to swallow, but I think it was worth it in my case. I'm just throwing this out there as something to consider when spending $1500 for a 3D printer made in China. I've had no problems since.
