3 cups fresh ripe strawberries, hulled & diced ½-¾ cup granulated sugar COBBLER CRUST 1 cup all-purpose flour 2 teaspoons baking powder ½ teaspoon sea salt ½ cup granulated sugar 1 cup whole milk, warm (I used almond milk) ½ teaspoon vanilla extract 8 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
Thank you for this recipe. I've made it 3 times in the last month. Instead of strawberries I used peaches and nectarines, then pears and plums with cinnamon for the last one. I had to stop making it because now I can't zip up my jeans. It's seriously addicting. Have to wait a few months before I make some more.
I've been looking for a cobbler recipe and it's good to know this works with other fruits. Try the "Italian plums" that are in season in August/September. Thanks Diva!
I doubled the crust and used mango with a little cinnamon, then served it with homemade ice cream. This is one of the best desserts I've ever made! The crust is amazing!
Made this yesterday! Made 8x8 glass pan, ate a small corner to taste when it first came out!! My hubby and stepdaughter ate the whole thing! Went to get some for midnight snack and it's all gone. Definitely making again and again, adding this to my main recipe binder!!! TFS
Honey!!! I wanted to taste it before I did any commenting and this is a winner. People are complaining about the sugar well go to the healthy sugarless desert youtubes section. This is a superb dish fit to present at any occasion. My husband loves it and I love it! My first cobbler and it was a success. Thank you!!!! Don't change a thing!
Lol “ healthy sugarless UA-cam section” I know that’s right, if you don’t like it there’s sugar free options. Give me sugar, real butter and whole milk! I’m such a cow lol
I made this and doubled her recipe. It took about 1 hour! But Alhamdolillah it came out perfect. And I lowered the temperature to 180C for the last 20 minutes! 375f is about 200C for those in the UK. :)
I've been making this recipe for at least 3 years now my parents and siblings love it. I asked my mom what I needed to bring for Thanksgiving and she asked for strawberry cobbler and my famous deviled eggs. I always double the recipe and it's always perfect. Thank you
Preheat oven to 375. F Grease a 1.8 liter casserole dish. (my oval corning ware dish was 11 x 8½ x2) In a medium bowl, add strawberries and sugar. Stir to coat strawberries in sugar and set aside. In a large bowl whisk together flour, baking powder, salt and sugar. Add in milk, vanilla extract and melted butter. Stir just until combined. A few lumps are ok so don't overdo it. Pour batter evenly into dish. Spoon strawberries evenly on top of batter. Do NOT stir. Baked for 35-40 minutes or until golden. (may need to adjust time if using a different size dish) Serve as is or with vanilla ice cream or frozen whipped cream.
Oh... my.... goodness!!! I had some strawberries I had to use up, soI made this last night for my Bible Study Group and served it warm with vanilla ice cream. It was soooo good. I got so many compliments on it. That cobbler is delicious and buttery and then as the vanilla ice cream was melting on the cobbler, it just added another dimension with the creaminess. This is most definitely a keeper! Thank you for sharing this.
I first found this channel about 8 years ago. This was the first recipe I attempted to make back then and needless to say it’s a household staple now. My brother and sister can never get enough, always asking me to make this year round! I’ve tried so many of your recipes and they never fail to impress, everything is delicious! Came back to get a refresher for this year’s holiday batch of strawberry cobbler. And in the spirit of the season, I’m so very grateful for you and your recipes, thank you so much. Happy Thanksgiving!
Just got done making this. It is amazing. I doubled the recipe and used a 13x9 glass baking dish. I also let my strawberries marinate in the sugar in the fridge for about two hours. I had to add 5 minutes to baking time since I doubled recipe and I also sprinkled powder sugar on top when it was done. I used 5 cups of strawberries total.
Girl, I just made this. I used 2 cups of strawberries + 2 peaches. And I also used 1/4tsp of almond extract and 1/4tsp of vanilla extract. I baked it in my 13" oval ceramic dish so it's not as fluffy but the crunchyness is OMG. Girl, you're onto something. This is amazing.
just made it, i topped with small pieces of pecans anddd omg you are not going to regret please be sure to do it!! i wish i had put some more tbh, I also used cake flour and it went well, so don't be afraid
Hi!! I found this recipe because I was healing from a surgery and had family bring me a basket of hand picked strawberries. Now I am feeling better and found this recipe. It’s in the middle of cooking. Can’t wait to try it. I’m a little skeptical only because I’m not sure of the measurements of sugar and other things you showed but I’m hoping I estimated just right lol. So happy I was feeling well enough to try these easy recipe. Can’t wait to try it. Thanks in advance. Update: 🤤🤤🤤 Now I see why it’s so addicting.

Made it twice to make sure that recipe is legit and guys it is. Only i made it with fresh plums so instead waiting for sugar to drag juice out, had to cook it shortly on stowe(just until sugar melted). It was amazing!
Went online and only looked at one recipe, decided youtube may be better. Only watched one video. It was this video AND your recipe the same page linked in the description. I HAD to make this!!! Hey!! OK so I just made this and I am enjoying a piece of it and let me tell you MY OH MY IS THIS STUFF GOOD!! Let me tell you it takes my tastes buds on a journey. Especially seeing as how this is my first time even eating cobbler. But I have a question. So is the inside supposed to be a little moist from the strawberries? Because the first time I took it out the batter was still runny. So I put it back for ten more minutes because it was in a smaller more compacted dish(the one you make banana bread in). It tastes amazing but is it supposed to be solid on the inside or moist from the strawberries? Anyone can answer. Thanks :)
Yes, it's suppose to be moist.
is it super sweet? it has lots of sugar.
Andrea Byrd It was because of the amount of sugar she asked for but it was runny because I had it in a smaller compacted pan. I wanna make it again but hopefully make it in something bigger.
