honestly it was a tragedy and a blessing that the Emperor tts ended because for it ending we got hunter the parenting instead, allowing the team to be alot more free with the IP and personally i feel its a bit of an upgrade, i enjoy how it is more down to earth, and (this is absolutely pretentious thing to say but) it feels warm when i watch it, feels human.
TTS was a much-needed parody of a setting that increasingly keeps taking itself far more seriously than it should. Hunter The Parenting and Norfolk Wizard Game feel more like celebrations of how weird and silly their setting is, which makes the horror elements and the emotional sincerity feel much more potent. Big D is a more complex and compelling character than Big E ever could have been.
Frankly. I prefer this, 40k is not my favorite thing, It's cool and fun and all grimdark over the top, but I loved VTMB so much more and knew of the various WOD games under the same umbrella and have never played anything else besides bloodlines but knew I was interested more.
I agree. HtP got me to go back into WoD after an unsuccessful first game as a player. However, I wish that TTS would continue in the future and get ending that the crew wanted
What's more sad is seeing them lie about the reason here. Games Workshop didn't "crack down" on anyone, all they did was change the phrasing of legal disclaimers on their website that still overall said the same thing it already did: Don't commercialize our trademarked property.
Speaker aggressively plugging the pateron especially after after being told it could be a little rude was fantastic, the absolute joy of his delivery of the pateron you could feel the vibe of didn't say no and now its to late ! You need to hire him to make a really stand out 30 seconds ad with that energy!

I watched TTS after HtP and LOVED IT. Even as someone with ZERO Warhammer knowledge, it is unquestionably amazing. From the writing to the voice acting to the animation. TTS, to me, speaks to what Ogre Poppenang is capable of. Truly, creatives to watch for.
Love seeing the passion Cherish brought in looking forward to seeing their work in the game also great choice bringing Ogrepopeneg in they’re some of my favorite creators on UA-cam and it’s so cool learning more about their creative process
Hearing that the chracter writing in bloodlines being taken so seriously, and havung such a powerful tool FOR writers is giving me hope. Hearing that the chineese room wtiters hold a lot of reverence for the tone that Objectoriented Progranning set with HtP makes me deeply happy as well!
While I appreciate how Cherish said that she has EVERY SINGLE CHARACTER'S background written and in play - I'm over here hoping against hope that all pf that will not be forcefed to the player. I'm all for it being in game, hell yeah on that!! Kudos for sure! I'd just prefer that it be something that each player must investigate to learn at least in a way that would make sense. :)

Vampire 2 has had some conflicting narratives recently and I for one believe in giving things a chance or listening out before casting judgement. I'll be checking out the game when it comes out and will be judging it to the same if not higher standard that the first game had.
On one hand I'll never forgive Games workshop for their incredibly stupid move to punish fans that created free publicity for IP they love with cease and desist orders, but on the other we might not have gotten Hunter: A parenting, Zero Viscosity, and Norfolk wizard game without it happening and I absolutely love those series
Speaker D putting it plainly why he loves WoD makes me more excited to play it. The setting alone forces you to think like someone who might end up on Dateline. I get that a lot of people get into these games for the wacky antics and badassery, but Im in it for the raw tension and situational horror. Hearing players' testimonies on what their group did to survive is more than enough motivation for me to find a playgroup that's into it. Any chance the game is "polishing" towards an open character creator? I'm just not that into being named Phyre or not being able to create a character that looks kinda like me. Also, was a little horrified at Cherish's characterization of the role of Storyteller, as the most important task is to give the players agency - everything else is secondary. Designing characters to fit the story (instead of the other way around) is ass-backwards. I was Storyteller in OG Vampire/Warewolf/Mage/Wraith back in the 90's, and the vibe I get is that this isn't for me.
This is gonna be a forgettable Fallout 4 pseudo RPG that shouldnt have been made to begin with. I bet the devs are hard workers but theyre efforts gonna be for a hot mess.
