I am going to buy this game for the humor alone. Some people might call it "Silly" and "Overdone" because of the Marvel movies but hey, I haven't watched a single one of them and the only Marvel comics I've read in the past ten years are back issues of Deadpool, so it's right up my alley.
saw the concept of this a few years back cause door kickers 2 got popular at the time. Great to see this game is actually coming out. Would love a series on this
Fun fact: this is from the developer of Gunpoint and Heat Signature, two games that were also obsessed with throwing people out the (multiple, numerous) windows.
I think you could have Jen use the chain bolt to hit the three dudes in her room, for one defenestration, then have Zan breach and toss her the time boost, and then she could hit both of the guys in his room with another chain bolt, she has enough mana.
Defenestrating people with Zan doesn't even count towards the goal... But I didn't need Zan's help here; I just waited a turn before breaching, used Gale Grenade in her room, then walked away from the door and chain bolted Zan's room.
Damn, this is actually a certified banger TBT game. The breaching stuff reminds me a lot of XCOM: Chimera Squad. And the humour is honestly so up my alley, genuinely hilarious dialogue without being too over-the-top.
I have two comments. One, I grabbed the demo, played the tutorial mission, and it's really cool. Two, There's a nice Tintin Easter egg at around 1:44. The ship is named _Karaboudjan,_ the ship where Tintin first meet captain Haddock.
Alright, I’m like 30 seconds in to this thing and I’m loving it. Breach glyphs?! Arcane/Magic Missile as your burst three shot round XD Omg. This is actually really creative and I love it.
53:06 I think a solution could be to have Jen use gale grenade on her side to take down the three guys, then used the static blast or chain bolt twice by getting the boost from zan . This is assuming you have open sight from the first window.
the fight at 50 mins, it doesnt have to be with jen. the first chain lightning you do kills the enemy before they get defenestrated, so they dont count. I think your supposed to gale grenade the 3 in that room, then have Zan shoot the one guy out the window, and then have Jen defenestrate the other guy on zan's side. (and have Zan give her a double action to chain lightning the other two as to not die.)
Got half way through the vid then had to stop and play the demo. And go back and get the optionals. Might be a small bug in the defestration counting, as I'm sure I got credited with three when I'd only done two, but don't care too much as I had the actions left for the third! That extra turn ability is really strong!

I think the humor in this perfectly rides the line, it is self aware without being proud of itself for being self aware. I think they nailed it.

Heat Signature and Gunpoint had good senses of humor too. Tom Francis is a funny game dev
