Mike Jones is the owner and head trainer at Primal Canine, a dog training service for all breeds, sizes, and age that specializes in severe behavior modification cases, high-level obedience training, and working dog training. He's also a founder at K9 Street League, a professional sports league for professional protection dog sport. When he's not training or organizing events, he's working in marketing and advertising, working in research and development, running his apparel company Carpe Omnia, or volunteering at a charity event like Valor Canines working against human trafficking.
With a resume rich in experience it's hard to believe Mike started from the bottom, but he wasn't always working with dogs. How'd he end up working in 'collections' when he was only 16 years old? Where'd his work ethic come from? And when you're locked up in solitary confinement for over 500 days, what can all that time alone in a cell do to a man? Let's meet Mike.

A year plus in solitary and came out half sane...hardy guy. Wish him all the best in his future endeavors and with his family. Glad you had time to deep dive into his life journey. Thank you both.

I've wonder about Glen Doherty and wanted to know more than just snipits of his passing in Benghazi, back in 2012. It's made clear on the podcast how important "Bub" is to Mike, Sean and TJ who created Bubs Naturals.
I would like to see a Mike Drop episode with Sean Lake and TJ Ferrara.
Talk about Glens life in totality, give people more insight into who this wonderful person was and what he still represents. It'd be interesting to find out how Bubs Naturals came to be.
Too hear how close to the heart Bub is to Mike and watching the episode with Mitch Aguiar and his Smashin' Greens the Idea of an episode dedicated to Glen Doherty came to mind and sharing the idea on Memorial Day seemed like a good pitch.

I had two Akitas when I lived in Alaska, they kept the grizzly bears and moose away.
They are awesome dogs in that situation

10:00 "its really dangerous to run in my neighborhood" oh yeah? Whys that? "Theres a lot of deer out there so you might have to dodge them" 😂😂😂 who tf is this clown? Hahhaha😂 he just lost all credibility in the first 10 minutes.
18:30 "i was 11 years old when i knocked out my grandpa" baaaahahahaha😂. Watch out everybody, we got a bad ass here with a totally believable story.😂 omg this is pure gold i cant wait for the rest of this interview

My grandson is a Navy SEAL. He's on a West Coast Team. When not in formal training or deployed, He not ONLY runs at least a half marathon each day, he's in the gym, he's self training, and right now, because in the Lang. School, he's running in a VERY unsafe area of Commiefornia. Perhaps YOUR inability to complete is the issue, not HIS conversation.
