- Ghostbusters: Rise of the Ghost Lord is coming to PSVR2 on 26th October so the Access team have suited up for some 4-player co-op gameplay. Ghostbusters VR has it all: crossing the streams, Mini-Pufts, P.K.E. meters and ghost traps - can our intrepid spook hunters bring down the big bad ghost?
In this Ghostbusters: Rise of the Ghost Lord gameplay you’ll see a mission from start to finish. The team check out the Ghostbusters HQ, hunt for cursed artifacts and take part in a summoning ritual. Ghostbusters PSVR2 features include eye tracking so you can wink at each other, haptic feedback on your Proton Wands and headset rumble when phantoms pass through you.

I have been hoping Phasmophobia would come to PlayStation for years just to watch this group play it!

There are some great PS VR2 communities out there, who organise regular multiplayer meet-ups for those wanting to team up or compete with others in this niche part of gaming :)

Yes, the eye tracking cameras are tracking the pupils in this game for in-game social interactions. The cameras are not only used for the foveated rendering in this game

Looks like a waste of the license to be honest :( which also sadly means it's a long time until someone else tries again. Imagine it had the look of Ghostbusters (more grey jumpsuits, less "Fortnite") with the atmosphere of Phasmophobia. Is this game meant for kids, are there really many kids who are fans of Ghostbusters these days?

Yeah, i know its not the greatest film, just hoping Ash appreciates the scary movie reference..
I wonder how much the devs created interesting mechanics...off the dome with possession beyond just the purple fog, they could a) limit how far you could see, b) flip your thumb sticks, c) have whoever is carrying the item targeted exclusively by the ghost, d) have only the person with the possessed item able to see the ghost unless the others are able to hit the ghost with their beams. Honestly ive got so many ideas about how this game could be designed. I hope the devs had bigger and better ideas
Real ghostbusters fans would never play this. It’s to childish. Maybe they think ghostbusters fans are too old for games but will buy it for their kids. Seems like a poor marketing strategy.
Why are adult Ghostbusters fans always slightly weird man babies. It's a kids film! You like a kids film series! You have no right to complain about it being for kids. Maybe try films/franchises aimed at adults?
A kids film? Have you seen it? Theres a ghost BJ scene half way through 😂 its def adult humor although 80s kids latched onto the action. Hence the cartoon made afterwards.
losing faith in my PSVR2 to be honest, apart from the obvious exceptions Sony seem content to let subpar indie games flood the market. If Sony don't push the VR2 over the Christmas period and announce some real quality titles then that is a clear signal to me they are content to let is very slowly die. I hope I am proven wrong.
