Will order one today. Like the boxiness that gives more room to fill the burn chamber. The 3-inch flue I will make into a 4-inch flue for better draw after installing a damper. Looks like the best deal out there as far as the construction and quality and the burning of secondhand gasses. Love the size of the window too.
I'm ready to order one of these for our rv do you know if there are any videos of it burning? Also how deep is the firebox? Thanks for you fast reply buddy!!
Hi Zane!! A friend just gifted me this stove, it has not arrived yet, im excited!! However, im having a hard time finding 3” insulated woodstove pipe. Ive found stainless insulated pellet stove 3” pipe, but the stove place says it wont work for this. Any suggestions? Will the pellet stove pipe actually work?
Hi, you can get stove pipe at the link below, however the price is a little bit expensive, you might be able to find a better deal elsewhere at somewhere that sells woodstove parts. Pellet stoves tend to operate at a lower temperature www.tinywoodstove.com/product-category/parts/3in-flue-parts/
I don’t think it’s fair to say these stoves have the same foot print, one is clearly larger, and that can make a big difference in small spaces. Also there’s no mention of the comparison between BTU output. This is also a consideration for a small space because a stove that puts out too much heat might not be as safe for a small space and make it harder to manage the fire.
So one reason to go with the grizzly mini is because of the roaster and the water heater they have for it and the Capybra doesn’t have that for it and also the tools to clean out the stove

How thick is the steel for the capy and how much does it weigh? And are there other models you make?

Hey buddy, read my comment above. Four-inch pellet flue that is insulated works better than any 3-inch stuff. Creates a much better draw.
Looks Great! does it need a grate and where would I find one to fit....or make one?
Nope, just put the wood in and burn!
Picked up a heavily used Cubic Mini for $160 with a few accessories. Good to know about this, though!
