Stephen A. you need to take it slow. Step is the greatest shooter but he can’t breathe life in a dead 💀 team.
JJ is a better fit for this show period. Making SAS LOOK RIDICULOUSLY STUPID. JJ MAKES THIS A SPORT SHOW AGAIN
O
Fire SAS he's racist
JJ Reddick making SAS look like a FLAT OUT CLOWN 🤡 🤡🤡🤣LMFAO
JJ is really talking himself out of this show by showing up S.A like that. Lol! Love it!
Stephen A acting like KD and Steph didn’t join forces to beat Lebron 😂. They saw with a healthy team the Cavs are a tough out.
Jj has a beautiful 🧠
The first ring curry got, Cavs were injured, no Kyrie & Love and Lebron had super back pack with nobodies and still took 2 games, next year we all know what happened, blew a 3-1 lead. The only reason Steph has those other 2 rings was because KD joined him. But Stephen A seem to forget, like stop hating and appreciate. I know it's for ratings but jeez.
He wants his own show so he good lol
Stephen A throwing tantrums in the back
JJ: "You're just trying to elicit a response"
SAS's entire existence boiled down lol

That's why they have the top shows..DEBATE shows. It's about getting ppl to debate different viewpoints. Sometimes u have to stir the pot.
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Facts
JJ is the best thing to happen to ESPN since Lebron.
Here’s why ESPN knows they can’t silence his opinion: 1.) The online support of JJ and his genuine perspective on the game from experience. 2.) his intelligence level and aptitude for television coupled with his ability to portray and execute thought to common people is immaculate. 3.) Regardless of how anyone feels, it takes a special and specific ability to redirect wording, while also maintaining confidence, to compete adequately in a televised debate with S.A.S.
Max has the intelligence and the ability to redirect, but the confidence was subpar.
so accurate
Why would they try to Silence JJ when Stephan a Smith has said he loves him on the know. Every reason you listed is a reason to keep him. You fans say the dumbest thing to get a response because you don't like SAS. When he said multiple times he loves JJ on first take.
Lol somehow you managed to use more big words than Stephen A Smith. Congrats.
@@brodie2477 he also loved Max
Look what happened
JJ didn’t crush SAS he was forecasting that if this (Curry winning one or 2 more chips) happens it’s worth a response even JJ said we can talk if that happens so he was actually agreeing with SAS because at the time when SAS said it he did not say that Steph has already surpassed Lebron
The funny part is that LeBron deserved finals mvp even when he lost to the warriors during the finals🤣
Yea he shoulda got it tbh. One man team out there
And all he had to do was win lol
@Ben Alv wait how? LBJ led in all 5 categories for both teams in the 2016 finals.
@Ben Alv Jerry west finals mvp in a loss but ok

I think JJ Redick legitimately haves fun schooling Stephen a Smith because it’s so easy 😭
Nobody said he’s better, but he’s for sure the face of the generation just ask the younger kids not yo grown friends lol we’re talking about the kids bro

JJ really keeping Stephen A on his toes with every segment. He is like an agitator forcing Stephen A to clarify every statement which is good for TV until Stephen A gets caught slipping lol
Just when I think SAS can’t come up with a more dumb and worse take, he outdoes himself.
JJ is speaking for us all and he is our fearless leader
😅😅
Lmao our fearless leader
JJ Redick is built for this. He's spitting facts and he's trained to be good on TV
Stephen A Smith is so confident at beating around the bush but never saying anything 🤣😂
It’s embarrassing
Yeah for real he is just a TV personality, not even an analyst to begin with

I love JJ speaking facts. It's what this show was missing for years.

Matt was the same way though. He’s Matt Jr except he actually played in the league so Stephen A can’t pull his card the way he tried to with Matt

Stephen A literally tried to jump from Steph to KD mid argument just to somehow find a more concrete way to discredit Lebron’s legacy. This man is something else
Of course that’s what he’s based his career off of Stephen a that is

Steven Azz loses again.....🤣
JJ is always bringing the heat to Stephen A. Smith and it's hilarious. Oh how I wished that Max had given Stephen A. a piece of his mind when he was on the show🤦🏿♂️. It felt like SAS was bullying Max Kellerman, who is a very nice person might I add. I saw Max a few years at Footlocker with his three daughters. @@matthewjordan7896 frozen one
Nah, I'd say for 10-12 years. Kobe had it for several years.
As weird as it may sound, with Lebron and Steph's age only being 4 years apart, I feel like they inspired 2 different generations, the faces of 2 generations if you will. I was born in 1998 and the first game i ever watched was a Cavs national TV game in the early 2000s. Lebron is the reason I fell in love with the sport that night, I wanted to be like him. I was a Lebron fan for 10 years before Curry made an all-star appearance. But on the other hand people born 5,10, or even 15 years after myself have looked upon Steph as that guy maybe more so than Lebron
I seen Jordan magic kobe now lbj steph is the one to take the torch from lebron after he stop playing tho . Lebron is like magic but with Jordan athleticism and kobe swag 😎 curry needs two or more rings to even move out the 6 spot alltime cuz he small top 5 greats have more physical presence in the post .
@@jaimevelez2532 How much longer you think steph gonna play??? In 4 years he’ll be Bron age now. Sure he’ll be able to “shoot” but his legs, speed, etc will all diminish to the point where he won’t be “steph”
Oh and I mean can he win at least a couple FINALS MVPS?!? ITS ABSOLUTELY UNHEARD of for a guy who is as great and won as much as he has to not have been the best player when it counted the most.
🤣🤣🤣 bruh what? You just made yourself look foolish. People born after you literally all they’ve gotten to grow up on is Lebron! Sprinkled in with Curry. I mean if Bron has been playing since 6 years before curry entered and has been the face since curry entered. 🤣
Tru
I see ... Like Kareem was still world class in the eighties, but he wasn't the face of that decade.
I am surprised that none of these experts have ever really mentioned that due to one man's greatness, LeBron, the GSW had to stack their already loaded team with KD. How does this not ever get mentioned?
Come on man, they didn't proactively do it thinking that they needed it in order to win. When there is an option to add KD you do it. Cleveland would definitely do it if they could and if you don't think they would there's really no point in talking because your mind is already set.
Who started this coward trend? Lebron has an asterisk behind a ring.
@@kaesaeteurn6354 Every season you could put on asterisk on a ring.
Wrong. They already beat Lebron before getting KD. KD was a free agent and the Warriors could afford him. Who wouldn't go after KD?
you honestly think they proactively added KD in order to combat Lebron? that's simplistic thinking. They clearly had the option to and would have accepted that option win or lose.
But to further prove how silly your take is, do you HONESTLY think conversations with KD didn't ensure prior to the 2016 finals? yeah...that dismantles that "got K.D. because of lebron" take
Bruhhh JJ is like a sigh of relief on this show, I love how he goes right a Stephen A I love it, KEEP JJ on the show

The way the floor is spaced, consistent deep three point shooting, “drive and kick”, and the rise of the triple-double factory type players is all more a result of Lebrons impact than Steph. I think there can be an argument that because Steph is less polarizing he may become the face for a certain generation, but the polarization of someone like Lebron comes because he is more threatening as a player to previously held standards. And he takes the social media heat of this generation and what-not that no other icons had to deal with.
So Lebron who is a career low 30s 3 pt shooter is actually the one that revolutionized the sport because he drove and kicked to floor spacers hahahaha. Now I have heard every defense imaginable. As if Jordan, Kobe, Magic, Thomas, didn't drive and kick out to shooters when drawing second defenders lmao.
@@bqproductions7448 They didn't. Only one who kinda did was magic, but in his era very few 3s were attempted so yea not much outside shooting there...

I think Steph’s window of being the face of the league or even the generation was very short and has probably passed.
If lebron was a normal guy and had retired or astronomically fell off already, this would probably be Steph’s league rn. But now you have Lebron, still being present and dominant, KD, and Giannis all vying for that spot with Steph. So I don’t think it’ll ever be definitively Steph’s league.

I’d argue against that, Lebron and Steph have been the face of the league, they represent the best form of basketball. Leadership, unselfish, role models and their impact on the game. Yea you’ve had other players better than them at some point like KD and Giannis but they’re not the face of the league nor Gen Z. I think you have to look at their careers as a whole. LeBron has been touted since before he got in the league and made the jump to superstar level very early in his career. Now with Steph as great as he is now he has accomplished he didn’t really take off until 2015
100 percent agree. LeBron was debatably the best player in the league around 2007-2008 with Kobe, and by 2010 it was no debate. As good as Steph has been, it’s only been about a 5-6 year run from him at this level. Yet Steph was in the league for a good chunk of those years
And he ain’t have to switch teams to have almost as many rings and be the first unanimous and back to back mvp

First of all, their careers don't fully overlap - LeBron entered the league as a star in 2003, and Curry didn't really become one until the 2012 - 2013 season - so LeBron has transcended generations from the Kobe/Iverson/Duncan era to today's. Steph (and Kyrie to a lesser extent) may be the face of the game for younger fans - or at least the players they emulate, being more relatable in their skills and stature. You can work on handles and your range, but not many people can emulate being 6'8," 250 lbs with a 40" vertical, track speed, and preternatural playmaking ability.

It’s laughable when SAS tries to start his arguments with his supercilious attitude to make himself look better than the other person. JJ is new on TV but his takes are more logical and factual compared to SAS. Most of the comments here disagree with SAS, and by the way make more sense. SAS easily gets emotional and excited when someone contradicts what he says. This makes his arguments irrational. SAS is just tripping when he tries super hard to save himself from his irrational comments. It’s like I’m watching Jerry Springer Show. It’s all BS and nonsense. I hope ESPN will realize this is not good on TV. SAS might not get a handsome contract after his current one expires if he continues on to this path. Yo JJ is a fukn savage and i love it 😂😂
For 10 years the plot of the NBA was literally weather LeBron wins or loses in the finals.
literally bro
KEEP IT GOING JJ....ESPN AIN'T REAL ENOUGH FOR YOU
Stephen a. Literally asked the question has Steph surpassed lebron and immediately answered “yes, I believed he has” then backtracked when called out lol
Because their numbers are so low since Max left. They are looking for someone to step in and help generate some interest.
Max kellerman is sipping his tea with a smile on his face..
JJ from the hood!!!🤣🤣 JJ for M.V.P🔥🔥🔥🔥
Steph changed the game with the 3 but so many other players were great shooters too. He’s the best ever but we seen Ray Allen, Bird, Jerry West, Barros, Dale Ellis, Korver, Glen rice etc etc. Bron is the best of this generation. Kobe was for his generation and MJ was for his. Bird and Magic had an era too
funny
You're speaking facts
Kobe was never the best of a generation 😂. Shaq was the better player on the team.
@@Tl-mh7gq you're speaking facts
James harden step back
Lol JJ had him again😅😅
oh man thats a hard debate..
Haven’t watched this show much since Max left and Stephen A. Sayin this foolery is one of the reasons why😂😂
Same. SAS a back stabber. He probably dating Molly too.
Lebron made it to 8 straight finals carrying those teams while Steph caused the only 3-1 finals lead collapse ever
Lebron didn't have to carry all those teams bro has had stacked rosters most of his finals except for maybe 2
@@cameronhenderson9536 exactly these bron fans are so annoying how they try to change history
@@cameronhenderson9536 those chumps he carried in Cleveland
@@sniiiperrr Aside from Miami, he never had a stacked roster. Specially in 2018. Research first before commenting, You make yourself look stupid.
Lebron lost to Jason Terry in 2011, he should be banned from the Basketball hall of fame!
JJ is the NBA qualified analyst we have all needed
Stephen A always talks about television when JJ’s beating him down 😂😂😂
To refer to someone as the “face of a generation”, you’re implying that the said person is the best at what he/she does! And JJ is right… King James is still the icon of our era because every time he’s won a title, he’s won Finals MVP! Has Steph done that? NO! Because every time Steph won… it was either Iggy or KD winning those Finals MVP titles! And even then, Steph has to surpass LeBron in banner counts to even enter the same conversation as LeBron! Even KD has a better chance of entering such a conversation! And the fact Stephen A. Is omitting all this is BLASPHEMY!
Stephen A getting cooked by JJ again. This is the Max situation all over again lol
Lol faxxxx
Theatrics don't work against jj
JJ is just a gift from above to this job... straight facts, experienced as a player.. nothing ridiculous take sshhhh
