The 2021 Anaconda action design is the same as the new Python. The original Anaconda used the King Cobra spring design. This new Anaconda also has a longer cylinder and wider cylinder as measured by John Taffin in his new Anaconda writeup. A very good 44 magnum revolver in my opinion.
Compared my new 6 inch Anaconda to my half the price S&W M69 44 Mag and the little guy shamed the trigger pull weights SA and DA of the Anaconda with much lighter pulls. Yes the Anaconda is roller like smooth but still a heavier pull weight which can affect your shots. When you are shooting a heavier revolver you don't want to have a heavier than needed trigger pull to go along for the ride.
Question...I have just got into shooting last year and I only own and shot one of my king cobras which is the target model with the houge grips.been looking for anaconda over python because of the houge grips.when I shoot 357 its very comfortable especially shooting one handed which I prefer. Stayed away from python because of wood grips which I don't think would be comfortable for me.how is wood grips when shooting magnums out if python.i have an opportunity to purchase both very soon but not to sure if I want to change grips on python.they do look great but I plan on taking them to range.thoughts?

Wilson Combat has steel aftermarket adjustable sights and new front sight to upgrade what comes on the Colt revolvers. Like this Colt 2021 Anaconda.

Hopefully your Altamont grips work out for you. They made me two sets for me Python and neither fit at all. Sharp edges near the top. Just unusable.
Do you want to sell the anaconda grips when the new ones come in?
