A very well done and honest review. I don't know how they could give away an old (original) Colt Anaconda from the 90's. The new Anaconda is so much better it's not even funny.

But you are correct, shooters will and always should choose the new Colts. They are awesome. Thank you for watching. If you choose to get an older one make sure it is a python. My first gun purchase was the new colt anaconda. I love that gun, looks great, feels great, shoot’s great 100% recommend also 44 magnum is a bit expensive but fun to shoot
The QR code on the new one is a date stamp. It doesn’t take you to a website, but if you view the data from the QR code, you’ll get a manufacturing date
Colt has a lot of QC issues. My anaconda I picked up Saturday, the barrel isn't level with the frame and needs to be turned a touch more. Even with the sights all the way to the right, it still shoots left. I love the gun though and just going to have it tweeked to fix it so it lines up
Great comparison! Definitely agree that those old Anacondas weren’t made as well; my granddad had a 90s one and that trigger damn near felt like it had sand in it. Just put Rosewood Grips and the WC rear sight on my 2021 8” Anaconda. :)
Great comparison and very informative video, Sir. Thank you for making and uploading. Small question: are there any data about accuracy available, like Wilson Combat stating that their pistols (with 5 inch barrels) have a grouping of 1 inch at 25 yards? Anyway, this looks like the 44magnum to get…I can’t wait to get my hands on one, what a beauty!!👍
If you question is about the Wilson Combat 1911s then yes. I have a couple of them and I have videos on them. They come with the actual test target and the loads they used and how far away it was hand signed by the person that tested them. I hope this answers your questions
@@TerryBenton Thank you for the trouble of answering. I mentioned Wilson Combat only as an example of a manufacturer who actually states the accuracy of their guns. My question is about the (new) 6 inch Colt Anaconda as shown in the video. I do like btw the videos about Wilson Combat!👍🤗
Nice video. I have a 6" old model Anaconda and both 4.25" and 8" new Anacondas. There really is no comparison between the new and old models. The new models are superior in really every way. That said, I was perfectly happy with my old model Anaconda having used it for hunting for the last 25 years and harvested many deer, hogs and even a black bear with it. It is also a very accurate revolver. With the WC front and rear sights (I prefer the green front fiber optic), the new revolvers are superior to almost any other double action 44 mag revolver available today. In terms of benchrest accuracy at 25 yards, both new and old seem to group about the same fired in single action. The old model also had many sharp edges on it out of the box and bothered me enough early on that I spent time breaking the edges with some 3000 grit wet/dry paper and Flitz. The new model does have one sharp edge at the top of the crane when the cylinder is open.
Hey Terry, as I mention in one of your other presentations I now have 6” 2021 Anaconda to go with my 1990 Anaconda(which I purchased in 1990). The cylinder on the 1990 looks larger, I will have to get my calibers and measure them both. I purchased the 1990 Anaconda in .44 Mag and .45 ACP, but I did a dumb thing and sold the .45 ACP later in 1990. Boy I wish I did not do that. The original 1990 grips felt like plastic to me. Back then Pachmayr made a very good grip for the Anaconda much better than what Colt provided. I still have the original grips but the Pachmayr’s are still on the original Anaconda. I must have an exception my 1990 Anaconda action is actually pretty good. I purchased mine when they were first available. Ricky from IBM
Great video and comparison. I don't own a 44magnum revolver but plan on getting the new Anaconda. I eventually will pass it down to my son so quality is important. I feel 44mag is also a better stopping power to 4 or 2 legged creatures.
Just an update, the Anaconda is now offered in a 4.25 inch barrel besides the 6 & 8 inch. It is also available in a matte stainless, I also understand that they will be offering it in the Colt Gloss Blue soon like it's little brother The Python. 😊
While I agree with every single thing you've said here, for the $750 it cost, I really can't complain about the original Anaconda I bought - especially considering that the new one retails for over $3K in Norway, and there are zero available on the used market. Is the action inferior to the Python's? Yes. Are the cast parts disappointing? Yes. Is the finishing dull and uninspired? Also yes. But the trigger really isn't that bad except for the reset being a bit notchier; I can't feel that much difference in DA pull, and the single-action break is genuinely nice. When I shot it back-to-back with one of those nice older 629s, I preferred the Colt, especially since its larger frame fits my hand a lot better. So as much as I'd love a shiny new one, I don't love it enough to pay 4X what the old one cost me. 😄 (Believe it or not, that crazy pricing difference is similar with the Python; the new model costs north of three kilobucks, and I just picked a barely-used 1978 4" Royal Blue example for under a grand, and a near-mint 1968 6" Officer's Model Match in .22 for the equivalent of $535. Buying anything new here is a complete rip-off, but the deals on the used market are insane.) By the way, what watch did you end up trading it for? I've only seen that nice Sub in your videos so far.
@mikegreen2214 thank you so much for watching and your insight. I traded it for a 36mm Rolex Datejust 2 tone with a champagne dial and jubilee bracelet. We were both happy with that deal.
@@TerryBenton Holy smokes, dude! 36 mm DJs are seriously underappreciated. I’d be absolutely ecstatic with that deal if I were you. 😄 I sold a perfect-condition linen dial 16014 a few years back, and I’m still kicking myself over it, even though I usually wear stuff like a Sub, SD or GMT.
I don't understand. I have the old Anacondas, a 6" and an 8", and both have a mirror-shiny finish. The triggers and hammer also mirror-shiny. No sharp edges like you described. There is minimal play in rotation of the cylinders. I am also considering purchasing a new Anaconda, but I wouldn't sell my current ones for anything.
Someone polished them before you received them. They never had a bright stainless anaconda. Why would you not sell them if you could get $2k for them and get a better gun for $1500? There is alot of people selling "bright stsinless" Anacondas on gunbroker. E erode of them have been buffed out. They are cast triggers and hammers and an inferior action. Trust me. Sell them and buy the new ones. It will not take you long to see which is better when you handle it.
Bro, sell those things and get the new ones. Thank me later. Or at least sell 1 and get a new one for comparison fun the new ones are a million times better in every way like he describes in the video.
@CoffeeHolic you do not need to get it hard chromed. You can polish it very easily. Way easier and way cheaper. Literally an hour of work tops. I am glad you are considering the new Anaconda. You will not be disappointed
They are out now, my lgs ordered one for me. I was looking at a 6 inch and mentioned i wish they made a 4 inch, and they said they could order it. Didn't even know they had a 4 inch until they said that. Colt never updated their site, lol.
I strongly prefer the rear sight on the original. I don't have an original, but I do have the newer model. I have never understood the advantage of a blackout sight, front or back.
The rear sights on the new ones are terrible. Replace that with a WC rear site and you have a winner. THE old guns had good sights from the factory. If you have the new model you ha e an extremely good gun
Really enjoyed your review. I am a big colt fan myself but i collect mostly guns from the late 1840s to around 1900ish. I have been told colt manufacturing was really bad from the 1980s to the early 2000s. I have seen custom SAAs and they didnt seem to be made as well from the 1980s threw 2000. I ask because if you got a earlier Anaconda do you think it would be better.
Every Anaconda I have ever handled from the original run were the same. I had one I personally owned and it was just as bad as this one. I have a very old video showing the kne that I owned. It is just a quicknscan over looking at it. The new Anaconda is in my opinion the 2nd best double action Revolver Colt ever made. It is 2nd only to the orginal Python. If you were ever Considering getting a modern Comt Revolver I would highly recommend taking a hard look at this one. Thanks for watching.
@@TerryBenton i will definitely remember that. Thanks for your input and honest review. I am just excited to see Colt going back to the roots bringing back extremely popular models and building good quality guns again now that cz bought it.
The old ones are not drilled and tapped for a scope. I forgot to mention that. Good point. I have seen scopes mounted on old Anacondas but it was done in a sketchy way. Thanks for watching
The 1st version would be if it had a "DT" printed on the box, or could have been sent into Colt for drilling and tapping. The 4,6,8 new guns are all drilled from factory.
You order them from the website it is a must have for the new Colts. They are around $125 and worth every penny. Look at my video on this gun alone or the new python and you will see it up close it goes in with a single pin. They provide a new roll pin with the site
@@TerryBenton even hickock 45 lives by that he favors the old Smith's the original pythons and the other new colt revolvers I wish colt would make a new 4 inch anaconda soon
The lock-work on the old Anaconda was based on the Trooper Mk III. No hand fitting, coil mainspring, etc. The new Anaconda lock-work is based on the new Python's lock-work. Far better.
I agree 100% that the current anacondas are superior in every way, i have an old model in 45 colt which is a oddball and not seen very often. My old model is accurate but it can't compare to smoothness of my 2 new models and waiting for the 4.25 to come in. I have 3 of the new python's in different lengths and one beautiful 1977 royal blue old one and my new one's are shooters and don't think I can ever wear them out. Altamont makes the wood stocks for them and can be found cheap on GB to replace the rubber ones
Very cool man. I am thinking about getting the 4.25 anaconda. They are pretty available now on GB. I have not seen them just sitting In The stores. Thanks for watching
My king cobra target 22 is sitting in the lgs at the moment that I ordered a yr and a half ago with the 4.25 anaconda, running this weekend to pick it up. I bought the king cobra target 357 when they first got released and it's a great shooting revolver, my only gripe is no slots in the rib like all the other models and even the 22 version has the slots in the rib so quite possible it will take a trip to my machinist buddy to have them added lol. I'm like you in a way that they're my guns and I will modify or refinish them to my liking
@imthatguy1878 exactly. If you decide to do that I would like to see it. I habe a POS trooper that was in pretty bad shape. I had an old vintage python barrel fitted to it and a different hammer. I order a set of grips for it and I am waiting for it to be sent back. My gunsmith moved and had to get his shop set up out of state. Should be back soon. It was very poorly nickel plated. I am doing it in royal blue. You can see the before and some of the progress pictures on a couple.of videos I posted.
@TerryBenton hahaha I've been watching your videos all morning so I'm sure I'll come across it before long, so far watching your vids I have quite a few of the same ones you've vids on, I have an old Ballard rifling marlin 39a and the elusive 39 carbine, a black army m1911 with the heart cutout frame, many different ww2 A1s, old colt sp1s, m1917s from smith and colt, p38s, lugers , colt 1903s ,woodsmans, officer model target 22s pre and post war, even old winchester pump 22s and my favorite of anything i own which is a 1939 winchester model 42 with a cylinder bore.I'm a collector who shoots everything I have and love bringing a variety to the range and having many of the young guys see and try stuff that someday they may be able to afford for themselves
I'm a millennial and a Smith guy. I never wanted a python for the weak actions and lack of parts. Bought the new python early on and I sold it early on, too. It didn't work as a combat gun, but had a great DA target trigger. I figured the anaconda and 22 Cobra would fit that bill, so I bought both. I was right. New anaconda and 22 king Cobra are awesome. They could use wood grips, though.
I have never noticed any accuracy issues but that does not mean it did not happen. They were just poor put together weapons that looked cool. I wish everyone that even thought about getting one of the old ones would just handle a new one. Everyone of their minds would be changed
My wife and I have the new Colt Python in 6”, 4.25”, and 3” barrel lengths. While they ‘are’ snake guns she named them ‘Papa Bear’, ‘Mama Bear’, and ‘Baby Bear’. She likes the 3” Baby Bear. We had to spend the kid’s inheritance to get em’. We’ll be looking for the Anaconda next. She said that’ll be ‘Grandpa Bear’ and if it’s an 8”? Well I guess that’ll just have to be named ‘Great Grandpa Bear’. I’m fine with it … “Happy Wife, Happy Life” 🤗
That is funny. You will love thr anaconda. I have one of the new pythons. Mine is the 4.25 inch. I love it. I saw my first 4.25 anaconda in the wild the other day. I like it.
Love the anaconda and the new model is way better.Colt did the homework and brought back a legend.Just my 2 cents.Your mileage may vary.Best.Great video.
good camera work, the big boomer, would have been better in 41 mag. The older one of course has a few loads through it, and in 44 mag, that fear they would blow up with the cylinder walls thin.
Old Python versus new I think can be argued which one is better, but with the Anaconda it's just no contest, the old gun is inferior in every single way. The wheelguns Colt produces these days out are pretty much peerless out of the box against any gun without aftermarket work done on it. Nice faux ivory grips by the way.
You are 100 percent correct. Thanks for watching. The ivory grips came from Boone Trading Company. They are very reasonable and very good customer service
Never cared for the older Colt Pythons or Anacondas as I preferred S&W and Rugers.I owned a few Pythons but moved them along. The new CZ/Pythons are incredible and I JUST bought a new Kodiak 44. It's a WOW gun. I now own 5 new Pythons and am thinking about a 6th. (Grizzly) Compared to the old models it might as well be a different company.
The Colt 44 Anaconda Is About As Bad Azz As Pistols Get ! I Always Wanted A Gun That Had Great Knockdown Power At Both Close Quarters And Also Had A Long Reach. The Anaconda In The Hands Of A Well Trained Shooter Is Hard To Top.
I did not polish the gun at all. I just wipe it down woth a micro fiber cloth. That is how it came. I have a new style python I also bought brand new. It dies not swim to be quite as shiny as the anaconda
@@TerryBenton man I can’t wait to bring mine home 🏡 I go up north 4 wheeling with my 2 boys on Holidays , I purchased some metal targets from shooting targets 7 , I can’t wait to pull that pistol out at the range and freak those boys out ! Look at this 😂😂😂
The longer cylinder on the new gun is to handle longer heavier bullets that hunters like. The old Anaconda would struggle with pills bigger than 240gr.
Everything about that new gun is bigger. I think they could make them in larger calibers with this frame. I do not know of that is a plan but it is not impossible
You can always give your opinion. You are entitled to that. This video was my opinion, and I tried educated people as objective as possible. Thank you for watching
WHY did they have that ridiculously reduced-radius-to-the-rear of the trigger guard, on the old one, as opposed to the more-symmetrical trigger guard, more-like what you'd see, on a Python, old OR new? The narrowing-down rear portion of the Colt Trooper's trigger guard looked RIDICULOUS. WHY does the stock Colt rear sight, on the new Anaconda? Does it go OUT-OF-ZERO? Mas Ayoob hated the stock sights on the new Colt Python revolvers, and ALSO recommended the Wilson Combat replacement rear sight. What was the cause of the PROBLEM, with the stock rear sights?
I cannot tell you about the trigger guard. I k ow the sights were ridiculous. It had a tiny allen set screw that you had to unlock to adjust it that came loose. It fit inside if the milled top strap very loose. The WC sight fits so much better and has positive clicks when adjusting. It also has a better sight picture. It is worth the extra $125. It sucks you have to spend the extra money but it would literally be a deal breaker if you didn't
@@TerryBenton WC is, as-of 7-4-23, out-of their replacement sights for Python/Anaconda platforms, BUT Optics Planet must've bought-up some inventory, because some versions of those WC sights ARE available, there, at close-enough-to normal MSRP. WC makes good stuff. Thanks for getting-back! Happy 4th!
@@TerryBenton and because of the caliber I don't shoot it that often, however I did splurge and get the target model Colt . 357 4.25" I'll be using that a bit more with the calibers I can run through it 👍 Thank you and good video!
The new Colt Anaconda 2021 is heads and shoulders better than the old Colt Anaconda. The cylinder is longer and wider and the top strap is thicker. The action is a super sized new Colt Python leaf spring not the coiled spring action of the old Anaconda. And the Wilson Combat Adjustable steel rear sight is a must. And the longer cylinder of the 2021 Anaconda can handle Garrett Cartridges of Texas 330 grain Hammer Head loads and the Buffalo Bore +P+ 340 grain hard cast gas check bullet factory load.
I agree. It is not even close when compared side by side. That was the purpose of this video. It is sad that people will still pay more for the older one
Anyone who ever touched an original anaconda knew it was garbage in the beginning. The new one is a great gun. For calling yourself a “Colt Guy” you should have known that.
Personally I don't like shiny guns or fancy grips best thing they did to that new gun was put in the python Trigger action as far as the slop in the cylinder that might be why the old anacondas don't have timing issues like the new ones do most of the complaints are Aesthetics how the gun looks is secondary to how the gun functions give me the old gun with some trigger and action work done
@TerryBenton I own a 1992 Anaconda and shot a handful of other anacondas and I've shot plenty of pythons. Never owned one unfortunately you are right about the trigger there is a massive Improvement but it seems like the new guns have timing issues just based on the amount of videos I've seen once they get that sorted out I'll probably buy a new one enjoy your gun as well
The trigger and hammer of the old Anaconda are made from cheap ass powdered metal. I always considered it a POS and had no desire to own one at all. The new one has milled parts and is far superior.
Man, I take issue with this review. You make it sound like the old one is garbage. I guarantee you it's not, I have both, BTW. And other Colts as well. Is the new one a better revolver? Of course it is. We all knew that years ago, Captain Obvious. And OF COURSE the old one has a fit and finish that's not up to the new one's standards. Seriously, have you not heard of modern CNC machining? The new one's fit and finish is faster to manufacture, fit tighter with closer tolerances and there's is no need for skilled craftsmen to hand fit them. And OF COURSE the trigger is gonna be better when you go back to make a new and improved generation of anything. You go back and "fix" and "improve" everything the second time around. A leaf spring action is just a smoother trigger compared to a coil spring action, so of course the trigger is better, it doesn't necessarily mean the old one is a piece of shit like you implied. If it were (a POS) they wouldn't command such high prices. And look at the cylinder scallops (which I expected you to note since you were pointing out the differences...but you didn't.) They're different, and IMHO they're ugly and detract from the gun's overall look. But they're that way to make the new one's trigger pull smoother & lighter. Back in the day if parts didn't fit they had to make them fit by hand until they did, and not to make them run like a Python but just to get them right before going out the door. Smith's were/are no different. Some people call it character. Is a Harley better than a Japanese motorcycle? OF COURSE not. But they do have something that newer, better bikes don't, otherwise Harley would have faded away half a century ago. Is a 2024 Corvette a better car than a 1960's Shelby Cobra 427? OF COURSE it is, but people still want them and so they make Cobra's in kit form because they sell. You can also buy one already built if you're willing to pay the money. The seam where you dragged your finger on the old one? Yeah, the new one had the same shelf/seam in the same spot that was just as big, yet you only pointed out that "flaw" against the old one. Oh, and by the way, that seam isn't because Colt failed to "finish" it, that's the way it's supposed to be. They BOTH have it and so do other Colt revolvers, yet you pointed it out on the old one like it was a failure on Colt's part in making a substandard revolver. SMDH. And the "better finished" look of the new one? Yeah, it's because it was chrome plated, the coating fills in the gaps and seams and makes it look and feel smoother. If it were bare matte stainless like the old one it would look just like the old one, it would not look so smooth and "better finished." And if the old one were chrome plated it would look "well finished and smooth," too. Is the new one "better?" Obviously so, notwithstanding the horrid QR stamp and serial number on the side (WTF were you thinking, COLT?!) I don't care for the scallops ruining the look of the cylinder or the ugly muzzle that isn't nearly as "clean" and "finished" as the old one, INMO, but is it a "better" performing revolver than the old one, yes. But give credit where credit is due for a revolver made before CNC machines replaced skilled, human artisans and crapped out perfectly-fitted revolvers like cookies on a conveyor belt. You don't need to shit on the old one to make the other one look better, it stands on it's own.
I hear you but you lost credibility when you said the new one is chrome plated. Lol. Some people just need to learn about stuff before they right an entire page about how upset they are that someone told the truth. Thanks anyway for giving your insight. If I were you I would get rid of that new ugly one amd keep your old and "expensive" collectors piece.
@@TerryBenton OK, so it's not chrome plated, the machines cut the edges more smoothly and polished them. You still got lazy and exposed yourself by refusing to address ALL the other points I made. Good job proving my points.

I want one of the 4.25 inch new ones. I saw my first one on person the other day
Hey Terry, as I mention in one of your other presentations I now have 6” 2021 Anaconda to go with my 1990 Anaconda(which I purchased in 1990).
I like the newer ones alot better. They are alot better made and you are right the cylinder is alot larger on the new ones
@@TerryBenton I agree I like the new version much better
Great video and comparison. I don't own a 44magnum revolver but plan on getting the new Anaconda. I eventually will pass it down to my son so quality is important. I feel 44mag is also a better stopping power to 4 or 2 legged creatures.
You will love the new Anaconda
Just an update, the Anaconda is now offered in a 4.25 inch barrel besides the 6 & 8 inch. It is also available in a matte stainless, I also understand that they will be offering it in the Colt Gloss Blue soon like it's little brother The Python. 😊
I now have the 4.25 inch anaconda. It is an awesome gun
Some of us prefer the less shiney matt stainless.
I like both. Thanks for watching
So I think Colt made the Cylinder and frame longer because they are planning on making it in .454.
I agree. I think larger caliber is in the works
bonjour superbe vidéo explicative sur les deux colt anaconda fabriqués entre celui de 1991 et le modèle 2021 merci de se partage cordialement
Yup
My first run anaconda is glass smooth, actually smother then my 80's python
That is cool. Thanks for watching
8:00 less moving parts sometimes is quite amazing. And especially when they're not made in China.
Correct
(Believe it or not, that crazy pricing difference is similar with the Python; the new model costs north of three kilobucks, and I just picked a barely-used 1978 4" Royal Blue example for under a grand, and a near-mint 1968 6" Officer's Model Match in .22 for the equivalent of $535. Buying anything new here is a complete rip-off, but the deals on the used market are insane.)
By the way, what watch did you end up trading it for? I've only seen that nice Sub in your videos so far.
@mikegreen2214 thank you so much for watching and your insight. I traded it for a 36mm Rolex Datejust 2 tone with a champagne dial and jubilee bracelet. We were both happy with that deal.
@@TerryBenton
Holy smokes, dude!
36 mm DJs are seriously underappreciated. I’d be absolutely ecstatic with that deal if I were you. 😄
I sold a perfect-condition linen dial 16014 a few years back, and I’m still kicking myself over it, even though I usually wear stuff like a Sub, SD or GMT.
@@mikegreen2214 yeah it was a good deal
Great video I’m waiting to see the 4” Anaconda at my local gun store
I cannot even find anything about it. They announced it at shot show but that is it. Not even on Colt's website
Yes I saw it being announced and then nothing.
Also we can mount a scope on the new ones.not sure about vintage ones.
You mentioned Wilson combat rear sights. Did you send your gun to them, or your ordered the rear sight, from their website❓
You order them from the website it is a must have for the new Colts. They are around $125 and worth every penny. Look at my video on this gun alone or the new python and you will see it up close it goes in with a single pin. They provide a new roll pin with the site
@@TerryBenton Thank you, I will give Wilson Combat a holla bout those rear sites ✅
Recently added to the California roster. Had the older 8in a new 6in on the way👏

Got my grips ordered thanks , coming in May
That is awesome man. I see you are a mustang person also
Yeah have a 2007 Shelby Gt , 30 k miles , it’s my baby
Did you only replace the rear sight with a Wilson combat? Was wondering if the factory front sight pairs well with the Wilson
Yes I only replaced the front one. It pairs very well with the factory red ramp front site. I have a video showing how to do it
Older smiths and newer colts are probably the best ones
Correct. I 100 percent agree
Far better.
@@moman3334 that is 100 percent correct. Thank you for sharing
Just picked up an 8 inch Anaconda. I'd heard that the new gun was better, but not by how much.
You will love that new Anaconda
I'm a millennial and a Smith guy. I never wanted a python for the weak actions and lack of parts. Bought the new python early on and I sold it early on, too. It didn't work as a combat gun, but had a great DA target trigger. I figured the anaconda and 22 Cobra would fit that bill, so I bought both. I was right.
New anaconda and 22 king Cobra are awesome. They could use wood grips, though.
Good stuff. Thank you for watching. FYI the older python does not have a weak action
They don’t have weak actions bro😂😂🤦♂️
I heard there were accuracy issues with the first generation Anacondas. Did you hear that and any details?
I have never noticed any accuracy issues but that does not mean it did not happen. They were just poor put together weapons that looked cool. I wish everyone that even thought about getting one of the old ones would just handle a new one. Everyone of their minds would be changed
Where did you get those white grips from?
I ordered them from Boone Trading Company online
I like it.

I definitely think the new ones are alot better. Thank you for watching
good camera work, the big boomer, would have been better in 41 mag. The older one of course has a few loads through it, and in 44 mag, that fear they would blow up with the cylinder walls thin.
I do not deceive anyone. I always tell the truth. Thanks for watchinf
Just picked up a new python last week hoping to get the Anaconda as soon as I can save up the cash
Super cool. You will enjoy that python. They are awesome.
Hey I got a anaconda and it’s cylinder does have play like the old one what should I do 😢
Does it have play when the trigger is held down after dry firing?
Never cared for the older Colt Pythons or Anacondas as I preferred S&W and Rugers.I owned a few Pythons but moved them along. The new CZ/Pythons are incredible and I JUST bought a new Kodiak 44. It's a WOW gun. I now own 5 new Pythons and am thinking about a 6th. (Grizzly) Compared to the old models it might as well be a different company.
@breakawaymotorsports I just saw one of those Kodiak the other day. Super cool. I like the unfluted cylinder. I have a 4 25 and 6 inch anaconda.
The first two digits on the serial number is what year it was made.
I did not know that about the new ones. Thanks
Does anyone make a rubber trigger grip with Sorbo thane for the new anaconda? It does wonders for recoil in the super red Hawk.
I have never heard of one of those.

What did u Polish ur new Anoconda with ? I have one on layaway now hopefully Friday I pick it up
I did not polish the gun at all. I just wipe it down woth a micro fiber cloth. That is how it came. I have a new style python I also bought brand new. It dies not swim to be quite as shiny as the anaconda

Can anyone tell us if a rear sight off of an Old Anaconda will fit the new Anaconda?
The sights on the old anaconda will not fit on the new anacondas
@@TerryBenton Thank you!
I can't give my opinion but I would like to have ether one
Happy 4th!
