Shawn Cole We’ve played the expansion 3 times now (2 players) and really enjoyed it, I see no reason to not include it. Tea let’s you use an action space as if your tool was one space further to the right. Upgraded tea (East Fresian tea) let’s you use the space as if your tool was 2 to the right. I love this, you don’t have to upgrade your tools as much. You can also pay two upgraded teas to do an action twice! Ships are like carts but you can’t satisfy travel destination deliveries with them. You can upgrade goods. Fishing cutters give you food if you don’t load them. Trading ships can deliver to countries which converts resources and can get you tea. We haven’t done ditches very much but it’s another way to dry out your marshes and let you hold more sheep. All in all we love it. There’s just enough new stuff that suddenly we don’t have enough time to do everything we wanted. The new buildings seem good, nothing too crazy but more variety is always good in my book. If you like the base game I’d call this a must have expansion. If you didn’t like the base game then this won’t change your mind. We haven’t played 3 players yet but I’m excited to try. The rules seem logical and they kept the changes pretty simple. Two people can take off season actions and the one who did not becomes start player, otherwise start player rotates to the first person who didn’t take an off season action. You start the game upgrading 1 tool and building a green house. There are more imitate spaces. It sounds fun, hopefully we try that soon. Hope that helps! Feel free to ask any questions.
Pat C I found some small containers with snap tight lids at the dollar store awhile back so we use those for all the resources and animals. The box just barely fit everything for the base game using those and now with the expansion it’s just too much stuff. I’m hoping to find a bead box the next time we’re at a craft store that will work better. Similar to what we use for Loyang. If I find anything good I might make a video.
Gabriel Ferrer Matheu Yes the expansion will fit in the base game’s box. We have all the animals and resources in plastic containers and that made it a pretty tight fit. If you have everything in baggies it’ll fit just fine though.
Ma girlfriend and I also dreamed this game after our first play :D
Haha glad I’m not the only one!
Please leave your thoughts on the expansion after you play it! I am curious, hardly any talk about it. Thanks

What kind of storage solution do you have for this game?
