Themeatically it's like Three Sisters lifted off of the pads and given some steroids. I have Three Sisters on my "played" shelf (that's a virtual shelf) and that makes me think this set will be on the list of games to keep in mind.
Love this game, i have the expansion as well, regardless of any score, it is always a pleasure to go through the relaxing and open mechanics of the game. Do a full play through.
We will have to see about the full play through as I have a lot of things to play before giving this one another run. When I do, I will most likely do it though.
Love the original but out of print , so but have borrowed the expansion - quite intimidating number of extra options initially even for someone who has played the game often. Would not offer this to a newbie but a definite for me if I can find a copy for a reasonable price. Massive amount of extra options. Thanks for review
You bet! It’s certainly a top shelf game for experienced gamers. A sandbox of options at its finest!
Thanks for providing information on the tea and trader expansion. Even though I have only 5 games under my belt, my high score of 85 points (only with base.game). There are so many choices which I love. Will be looking for the expansion. I love the base game but the expansion add more elements for sure. As always thanks.
@@JohnLaRuffa I've done some searching online, appears to be sold out everywhere. Will have on my 2023 list of must haves.
@@bankingonmoney8224 I hate that about this hobby! Cannot find a copy of The Farmers of the Moor Revised Edition either. I have been searching for over a year for that one.
@@JohnLaRuffa I guess China shutting down major cities due to zero COVID policy doesn't help the situation.
How "tall" is your table? Mine is 30" and I was wondering if it would fit nicely.
Thanks John, need to get this off my shelf of shame. Looks great
