As a truck driver who starts work at 4am trying to stick to the 20 mph speed limit is difficult with london buses which don't use tachographs doing 30 mph on your inside and cars trying to speed pass you at junctions and roundabouts maybe the 20 mph speed limit should apply after 7am
20mph increase accidents, because drivers fallow too close :( A roads showld be at least 30mph... 20 is to slow, if you do not have trafic, why just 20mph :(
London people are very smart to choose mayor for makes life miserable for everyone in London. London mayor introduced 20 mile speed limit then please put 30 miles speed limit sign where still 30 miles speed limit rule. People afraid to drive more than 20 mile speed because they don’t know what is the speed limit and no speed limit sign everywhere.
What about those people who are running on higher speed & creating loud noises with their cars & motorcycles, where are some of them are tailgating you?
Why not introducing 10mph or banning traffic all together?Cyclists will take 300kg of load and go to work as electricians,plumbers and cab drivers. Soon London will become a joke as place to live in.

Car manufacturers are going to remove third and fourth gear on future models i recon we should BRING back HORSE and CART

20 mph = Less Accidents + MORE Pollution.
Vehicles are NOT designed to run for extended periods at that slow speed.
Put the limit to zero and you have zero accidents and zero pollution.
