Cambodia looks beautiful and it great that you travel to thwart stereotypes. And I observe that people are also darker in complexion in comparison to other East Asian. The guy asking about the hair can stand out for any East African. They also seem very friendly.
Cambodia has come out of an awful bombing by America in the 1970s and the KR madness of 1975-79 and have achieved since that time a wonderful civilized Nation with infrastructure and Hi Tech expertise and then I look over at Africa that has been totally independent since the late 1970s and I see a massive difference in the quality of life of Cambodians and Kenyans..No why is that ?.
Phnom Penh is such a clean organized city. Hard to believe it was abandoned in the 70s. What does the general population think of Pol Pot or does that name make emotions boil?
G'day mate during early to the mid seventies the country went through a political struggle which turned into a nightmare of genocide which forced many to to flee for their lives, sadly many never made it through ,now 40 plus years on they are going through building growth , so it was not really abandoned . Hope this helps , catchya...
@@heymaddo Well, what I meant was that the entire urban population was forced into the countryside for agrarian purposes to develop the so-called agrarian utopia. More like abandonment by some other explanation🤔. Help a friend out.
@@chriswamahiu8751 Yes , forced abandonment did happen under the polpot-khmer rouge dictatorship and many died there , knowing much about their history really is a reality check, n yes i have family there , the elders rarely speak of it as well , anyway have a great day mate , Catchya...

Many many thanks
Cambodia looks beautiful and it great that you travel to thwart stereotypes. And I observe that people are also darker in complexion in comparison to other East Asian. The guy asking about the hair can stand out for any East African. They also seem very friendly.
Yes they are very friendly people
Thanks you so much and welcome to Cambodia
Cambodia has come out of an awful bombing by America in the 1970s and the KR madness of 1975-79 and have achieved since that time a wonderful civilized Nation with infrastructure and Hi Tech expertise and then I look over at Africa that has been totally independent since the late 1970s and I see a massive difference in the quality of life of Cambodians and Kenyans..No why is that ?.
Phnom Penh is such a clean organized city. Hard to believe it was abandoned in the 70s. What does the general population think of Pol Pot or does that name make emotions boil?
We have some places that are dirties, fortunately they will be remove soon
@@jemappllesphan6143 are you Cambodian ?

You are so sweet! Thank you 🤗♥️
Really impressive to see Asian countrries like Cambodia or Laos doing well after long troubles. We Africans have to wake up and start building our continent, otherwise we might be recolonized and this time it could be for keeps.
💯💯
Cambodia is the friendliest country in the world
Hi African Tigress, I met some Cambodian People in Long Beach California and they are very friendly!!!
They are amazing
More than 20 years ago, the country was torn apart by a number of foreign wars. Millions of people died, knowledgeable human resources almost died, social infrastructure was below zero, but was forgotten. Thank for sharing truth in Cambodia

Sometimes Khmer people have never seen black people before. I don't think they were staring at you by ways of being mean or rude. They were just fascinated with you.

Cambodia is a beautiful country, although there are some bad things happen around like the traffic jam. But, the culture is really beautiful, I really like Cambodia. But, the country is developing so there is not a lot of beautiful thing in that country.
