I was there back in 2004. It was so surreal. I’ve been all over Asia. Lived in Asia. In different countries. But this place was just surreal. At night it changes into a different city. I went to the Foreign Correspondents Club there. That was cool. I then took a six hour bus ride to Siem Reap. The bus stopped a few times so some could eat some snacks. Those snacks were fried bugs! Angkor Wat was amazing. I stayed there for six days. Felt like I was Indiana Jones!
Man this comment is AWESOME!!! I totally agree on the Indiana Jones feeling. It's obviously a lot different now than it was in 2004, but man we couldn't help but feel like we'd been dropped into a movie of some kind. SE Asia's so beautiful & every place is unique, but Cambodia's just some completely different from the rest. We loved every second of it & can't wait to get back. Cambodia might not for everyone and the country has changed so much since I left there back in 1979. The short noodle stir fry at Central market is very popular for the locals. The kicking-shuttlecock at riverfront is very common for the locals. You can visit the Genocide Museum in PP or Killing Fields out of the city. It can be depressing but it can be educational of what had happened during the Khmer Rouge Killing Machine not very long ago. Spring has sprung here in Minnesota and we'll be back to PP in a few months. Happy travels from a genocide survivor!

@@ProbablyLost I live in Orlando, Fl now.. I went back to Cambodia 3 times. In 2016 I went back and got my dual Citizenship. My mom has property in Siem Reap, just 5 mile away From Angkor Wat. Thank you!! We had a great time!!!😊
We call that sauce “crack sauce” in where I’m from because it’s that delicious.
You put some Thai peppers and garlic into a mort and pestal, smash them up, then add fish sauce, lime juice and a little sugar.
Crack sauce is absolutely a fitting name😂
Thanks you guys

@@ProbablyLost I live in Orlando, Fl now.. I went back to Cambodia 3 times. In 2016 I went back and got my dual Citizenship. My mom has property in Siem Reap, just 5 mile away From Angkor Wat. I just went to visit this February. BTW your other video about Angkor Wat, it started off as Hindu Temple with later converted to Buddhist Temple. The king wanted to bring the people together. Cambodia is mainly a Buddhist Country now.
