Cambodians are indeed Asian version of blacks. Most of us are very open minded and very exceptance of other races. Judging from the outside I don’t look Cambodian at all because I am mixed. We have great hospitality. If you’re our good friend you’re family for life!❤❤
Well said
Welcome to Cambodia 🇰🇭
That's because of the ancient ancestry
Sambo
@@visitandsharenah alot of Cambodians don't like black especially Africans they wl deal with black Americans just off the fact that there American
I love this guy, spoken like a true new yorker. "you can take me out of New York but you cant take New York out of me"
He reminds me of a lot of Cambodians I grew up with in Long Beach, CA… we always looked at them as the black version of Asians 💯
People think I'm black because of my afro hair, but I'm not mixed, my family just have black people hair, but I'm pale though.
On COMPTON homie you ain't Neva lying!WSCPT1975✊🏿🖤
I've got to go there, love Cambodian people like they're my own! Beautiful strong people, that's why I think they usually get along with black people
I don't know how you found this dude. But it's the best street interview I've ever seen. This dude got me crying 🤣😂
I like this brother from Cambodia. There’s a lot of brothers like him, that’s down for Black people in America. God Bless
I gotta connect with him when I touch down ! He’s the truth ! Appreciate his honesty !
You couldn't have paid someone to do a better interview with you. In my international travels I've come across a lot of foreigners who only know Black American culture through movies, the internet, tv, music videos, etc., and to me some of the "imitation" comes off clownish and sometimes offensive, though I know it's not ill intended. But this dude here, seemed nothing but his authentic self. One of the great things about traveling is all the different folks you get to meet. Imagine, coming across a Cambodian in Cambodia that can give you a hometown vibe...gotta love the experiences. Great video, keep up the good work!
I’ve been living in Asia for 20+ years and I’ve only met two Japanese dudes that were “ex-New Yorkers”. They knew so much about hip hop, DJ Clue, DJ Red Alert, DJ Brucie B, The club fever in the Bronx, the night club tunnel in Manhattan,, etc… this guy reminds me of them. I can imagine how happy this made you. Brought back some memories for real.
I interviewed a female and her response was exactly the same although it’s not in every case they feel that’s the general sentiment and this is from people who are very open to black people.
Dope conversation. He would be a perfect candidate for a donation.
Salute to crazy Luka. I had a Vietnamese potna growing up who was the same way.
The Cambodians in Oakland were similar to him in terms of vibe.
You can tell he's very sincere and got a good heart.
Wish him the best.
Great interview Zo 👍🏾
Zoe, this is one of the realist interview I've ever seen!!!! You definitely need to promote this one!!!🙏🏾👍🏽

😂😂😂Hakeem "The Dream"! He f*up my dream!😂😂😂
I know that felt good, bruh! You're in Cambodia talking to a Cambodian-New Yorker from El Bronx! You know he's authentic with it by the way he flows!😂
Reminds me of lil' homie, Lim. Who is Cambodian-Virginian. Damn, that's what's up. You found the truly unexpected. God is the best driver man can ever know.
He’s def a Cambodian New Yorker and he know the Bronx
One of the Best passport Brotha’s videos I’ve seen. That was true love and respect. Cambodian students came to my Jr High. around 1984. We Still friends
This was Great he remembers Alexander's he really from the BX good vibes. I appreciate his honesty . Great story.
This is one of the best interviews I've seen on your channel. He was naturally funny.
Peace to the God… this was definitely one of your best interviews! The energy was genuine and the convo was live! Salute Zo!
God damm that is the best interview ever I’m one of your fan from Cambodia
This is one of the coolest interviews ever. He most definitely grew up around us bruh!!!! 😎 😎
Seems like a nice guy. If I went to Cambodia, would like to pay for a Ric Shaw ride and chat a bit. Good peoples!
This dude, Luka, is straight up New Yorker. You can't fake it this well, the NY cadence and colloquialism this brother is using. when he talked about his gangster days, I would have fallen out of my chair if he had said "I'm no punk bitch!". Luka had me laughing so hard, I thoroughly enjoyed this interview.
I live in San Diego and this guy reminds me a lot of the cambodians here. Dude is live.
I'm glad we have someone that ask real questions about someone and don't judge..you sincerely wanna know and y'all have fun talking . This is the first video I watch of you. Don't know much but I'm excited to watch more of your interviews much love from Virginia. Cambodian American here lol.
“Kick in the door. Wave in the 44…” This dude is definitely a New Yorker. Great interview. Hope to visit someday.
I'm from Jersey, when he shouted VIM and models, I was like ok he was out there for real
Amazing interview bruh, totally captivated from start to finish with no fiction detected from Luka. This adds all kind of validity to "you can't judge a book by its cover" and the odds of you two meeting each other and having THAT convo. Small world indeed.
Cambodian Khmers come from Negroe Jews, I feel bad for them you fell for lies from your own oppressors and that's their ancestors and Nigerians are Hamites.
It’s crazy you can see the regret in his eyes. This is one of the best interviews you have done. Complete story from start to finish
This was thoroughly entertaining. His references to the Knicks,Akeem, Donkey Kong and pac man brought back memories. I think anyone from NYC going to Cambodia should look this guy up. 👍🏼🌴
-> Yo this interview was hella cool! This guy is the vibe! Thanks Zo!
Informative & entertaining vlog, When dude mention Charles Smith missing the “Layup” and he said “I don’t fake the funk” 😉🤣, lesson learned “Never judge a book by its cover” Zoe we appreciate the work your putting in…✌🏽
This was a classic interview. Taken me back to the day's of the affordable Alexander's department stores.
Great video, I am dying over here, he definitely grew up in NYC, and old school NYC 🤣. It doesn't matter where in the world you are, you meet another new yorker the accent, slang, and love comes right out lol. This was beautiful to see.
Southeast Asian ms the Cambodians and Laotians are some real G’s they handle they business. They grew up in the same hoods as us blacks. They stamped and certified! No kizzy
Outstanding interview, Zoe!!!!🔥🔥🔥🔥
Super dope! He reminds me so much of my viet brothas here in Texas that grew up with us. Genuine, real, loyal cats that'll give you the shirt off their back. Everything happens for a reason like you said. Glad you ran into him.
Crazy I can hear the ny accent & Cambodia accents at the same time from him😅
Well Cambodian American millennial here. Didn't listen to what i called "white music" until Britney spears came into the scene. My childhood was all black music
Zoe I've been checking you for awhile, love your midnight thirst but man you hit it out the park with this one.
Great Video......Mad shout out to this Asian Cambodian Brother, doggy is from the BX...the Boogie Down Bronx❤ya feel me!!
Excelent interview brotha!!👊🏾👊🏾
Zoe this was the realistic interview and invidual that you have talked to. I enjoyed this from start to finish. Truly our brother from another mother.
This was a dope interview, OG has dope personality
i live in cambodia phnom penh, ive seen this guy driving down the road in sen sok and my mom took a tuk tuk with him, it was pretty cool how he talks haha
Zoe, man you on a roll with these interviews. Good job brother. I enjoy these videos. 👍🏿
I appreciate that
When I heard the "know what I mean"....and "mu fukka"...yep he's legit lol
Awesome informal conversation. l had flashbacks of the past since I grow up in the Bronx.🙏
Glad you enjoyed it
Cambodian definitely like a flying Unicorn in NYC. There Cambodian family lived in New York but a very very very small percentage compared to other U.S states. In Philadelphia there lots of Cambodians in South Philly, North and West Philly. Im Cambodian born and raised in Philly. My Puerto Rican friend from Brooklyn be like yo man you need to visit NYC one of these day. You'll be like a rare unicorn out there. Them girls will love you and your Native Indian (I have long hair) looking ass ctfu. Love this interviews brother. It's so real with it. These two guys kept it real and street. Got me feeling like they were long last cousin. Blessed these guys.......
Int'l Zoe 👍 interesting interview Realest NYC Cambodian he also was U.S. Marine 😎 Respect.
Coming from another Cambodian. I can tell He’s straight OG status

My mans kept it 💯... I appreciate the facts no filter
Man, this is dope. Much love to that brotha!
That's hard!..good work
Luka is definitely a man that grew up in the 70’s/80’s… He is a prime example of how races got along better prior to the year 2000.
Shout out to Sharon for putting Luka on to PacMan and Donkey Kong!! 🕹️🎮
great interview
That was great!!
Just wow. Being from Lowell Massachusetts, I knew a lot of these folks. Many worked in agriculture. I swear I know the neighborhood he went to collect from. One of the best UA-cam videos I ever saw - great work Zoe!
Agreed
I just spent a month in Siem Reap... spent 3 months 8 countries in that region... There's a peace I felt in cambodia that I know I'll just go back for that. I made friends with all types. This dude was real real. Old School Zoe. Sak passe fwe!.
Everything he say was the truth. He was crazy Luca from Andrews West Fordham the Bronx. Glad u made a interviews with him…
This was your best interview ever
I grew up on the Fordham Road and Grand Concourse area most of my life. And I’m old enough to know about the recruiting station and Alexander’s lol.
This dude is definitely a New Yorker. Got the lingo down and everything lol. Great interview!
I was recruited on Fordham rd! Lol
187 st.
This guy is cool u can tell he has flavor
Yo sounds like a hardcore new Yorker. Dope😆
That dude is so cool.
Thanks for sharing real life experiences.
This guy is someone I will connect with when in Cambodia
Cool cool 😎Dope Dope interview one of the best he told the truth and that we need to be told nothing But the truth

I still remember OG from Andrew's. Taught me how to squabble. I was lil bad ass Jimmy.
I gotta see this crazy Luka out there 😂✌🏾 way too cool and he funny as hell and raw he ain’t holding back 😅 he remind me of a friend of mine his Cambodian from Long Beach CA ex U.S. military 🫡 I got this J.O.B 😂 much respect ✊🏾
Damn bro this shit is 🔥🔥…I hope you get a 100K views plus on this. This the type of travel content I love, you got lucky meeting him 👏🏾👏🏾. Being from NYC myself he definetly got the lingo and swag of a New Yorker lol. Most Cambodians usually in New England area suprised he was from NYC. So cool, safe travels man 👊🏾
Nah most Cambodians live in California beo
New England got like 2 cities with Cambodians and that's it most Asians over there are Chinese
I lived in Lowell and Lynn and Boston got no Cambodians
Now this was a real interview. Real recognize real! How did you run into the one Cambodian tuk tuk driver from boogie down?!
He stopped me and said what’s up brother
You are really lucky to run into this brother down to earth right on He is going to get more business from usa who visit there He needs to set up camp for tour and guides. right on for the video .
I'll definitely be contacting him when I go back to Cambodia!
I called Nigerian / African when I was in Cambodia. I had to tell them that I'm black American.
Salute bro. Definitely classic.
He def giving BX vibes lol salute bro!
Wow! Small world indeed, that was cool.
Best interview ever 🎉❤😅😊
He was funny as hell! Kool kat!
The best "passport bro" interview ever. NYC in the house
Cambodians are still among the friendliest people.
Warmly Welcome 🙏🇰🇭
Nah alot are racist towards black people
When Luka started talking I as like, _Wait, I used to work with that guy._ and indeed I did. Great guy, glad to see he is doing well.
Very cool!
I agree with him about the white guy over the black guy in the bar situation because I didn't get the love at the random bars like the old white guys did. I never had people question if I was from America in Cambodia though because I'm black but I got it all the time in Vietnam because they think all Americans are white people some how. Definitely in most of Asia it seems they are big on nationality, especially when you're black. I saw them being dirty towards Indians and people like that because they are on ice there and hustling but I didn't feel bad energy towards me. I definitely felt and noticed the dangerous energy there as well though and drug addicts. Marwa also talked about how friendly the people were in his Cambodian videos and he's from Africa.
Classic interview. Salute !!!
To be honest, we don’t care what color you are, all we care about is you are going to respect us or not. It’s true that we’re poor if compare to other countries but as a human being, we also need people to respect us.
Respecting everyone, the good and the bad, is how I’ve gotten through life. I have been able to go almost anywhere and get along with everybody… Even if they don’t like what I am, they respect who I am.
@@caipirinha_king1632nah alot of Cambodians don't like black especially Africans they wl deal with black Americans just off the fact that there American
nah alot of Cambodians don't like black especially Africans they wl deal with black Americans just off the fact that there American
Man it's just depends where you at. If you have good or bad experience where you at. Down here N.C and alot of surrounding states we fuck with blacks.
