A Mack CF still going to fires!
Man I wish Mack still made fire apparatus. FDNY was load with CF engines and tower ladders during the war years (solid red!). They are well built, tough and dependable.

Also after 9/11 they were used heavily due to the apparatus being destroyed in the rubble.

Nice One! Basicly here in Germany, it's called a "Löschzug". It's the Basic Unit for every bigger Fire, Box Alarm or Unknown Alarm! It is here also, as in the video a Battalion, 2 Engines and a Ladder!

When Mack built good trucks, everything was built in house. Today's Mack is primarily outside suppliers since becoming part of Volvo.

I live in King County, Washington. Many of the departments here have started dispatching two engines, a ladder and a battalion chief to fire alarms in high occupancy buildings. Just in case it turns out to be an actual fire.

I wonder why Teaneck E5 was at Englewoods fire house? Englewood fd has 2 more engines and a rear mount tower ladder. Maybe Teaneck was covering Englewood while their other units were at another call?

Judging by the fact this was the Englewood fire department, and that apparatus said Teaneck on it, I’m going to take a guess and say they were using that engine (engine5) as a spare or reserve engine, while there( Englewood) engine was out for repairs.

You know stuff is going absolutely sideways real fast. When you start hearing and or seeing entire departments empty out. Was working out in Okotoks Alberta the other day near their north fire department when I'm pretty sure I heard All eight apparatus leave. Full sirens full horns just full on oh crap mode. Drove past a little later. And had to wait as a number of their trucks were just coming back into the building. So the street was a little bit busy lol
