Should check out the original band. They are a "jam band" but more proggy and have a strong emphasis on tightness and purposeful improvisation.

Your musicianship is as tight as the 1960s and 70s Jethro Tull musicians who did My God or Songs From the Woods or the musicians who played for Heart in Barracuda or the ensemble who performed the cover at the Kennedy Center Honors of Led Zeppelin's Stairway.
It was as much fun to watch U guys as it was to listen to.
AND, I'm beginning to recognize at least one or two of the musicians, like the female guitarists Mallory or the vocalist Chloe. nice job U guys.

Holy crap! Not familiar with that song (only a casual UM fan apparently) but it's highly technical with such complicated timing. Hard to believe a bunch of kids together for only a week or two could turn out something so technical and so perfectly executed. I could listen to that a hundred times in a row! I've come to expect such perfection from Mallory and Chloe but everyone is just exceptional - especially that bass.

Has UM heard this? Haha. Outdid them on the vocals. You obviously nailed the composition. But your approach to the tone and subtleties of the song was really thoughtful and creative. You managed to make this your own without giving up what gives the original its fire.
