Either Photoshop or not she always just was average to me. Well, all the Kardashians are but the fact that they are saying she is a gorgeous supermodel is just....no. There are tons of girls that look a lot better than her naturally, they just didn't have the money to buy their way in.

I can't even use a waist sinch to give myself more shape.... it just gives me back fat lol. I have had to work really hard to accept my skeleton shape that no matter how much I exercise I won't look like someone with a different body shape
I thought it was my fault that I didn’t have a little waist. I don’t know what exactly I thought I could do, but there I was. Now, I dress for my body type, and I actually look better at 57 than I did at 37.
100% this! I'm 156cm tall with this body shape, so I can't even get away with having a long torso to hide the "soft spots". I look almost 2D side on, but as soon as I face frontwards I look like a brick. I once had someone comment I'm like a walking optical illusion 😅
Nearly every girl wishes they had a different body than they do. I have curves but at times I wish I looked more like girls who are thinner and taller without as much curves. Every body type has its advantages and disadvantages
It was awesome to hear you talk about skeletal structure because I don’t consciously consider it, even though when I pose for pictures I *know* I do the opposite of Dua because I look more snatched front-on than from the side. Thanks for giving us a look behind the curtain!
I had to pause when you were talking about cellulite being amazing, because I got legit emotional. 😭 In a good way - because we can all stop torturing ourselves. We can all stop hating an incredible part of our bodies that the beauty industry deemed ugly. And they did that to make billions. Damn. I love you girl. Thank you for changing lives. ❤️
Omg…I had an ex who did that to me too saying that my was super slim with abs but I had cellulite and had to do better…while he was not fit at all…got into my head for years!!!
Literally the best, most relevant, uplifting channel on UA-cam. I tell all my friends to watch you. You have genuinely helped me and my confidence more than ANYTHING. This society is so lucky to have you❤️🔥
THANK YOU FOR THIS! Dua has been Such a trigger for me this past year. I actually used her to fuel my ED habits and it made me feel disgusting. I just thought she lost weight and became perfect. I'm in a much healthier place now but this video helped resolve some of those old toxic thoughts. so thank you!!! Love your videos Stephanie!!
So sorry to hear that she triggered you 😢 I feel like all these celebrities have a responsibility on what they post and but not many of them care about more then "looking skinny on Instagram" 😢
Stephanie you have helped me love my body and accept it the way it is. I am a tiny woman, 5’4 100lbs. I have a rectangular body shape, and have spent (wasted) so much time wishing I was curvier, but watching you and learning how the perfect body doesn’t exist has made me feel a lot more confident in my skin. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, Stephanie. PS you rock that hair colour 🔥😍
If it makes you feel better (or feel like we're all in it, really), I'm a 5'4" hourglass with a bit of belly, and I've spent years trying to lose weight and hit 100lbs mark and get a rectangle body and get rid of my curves and wear those cool cropped Asian outfits without feeling like I'm showing too much. I'm slowly learning to accept my body as it is, and hope that reading my side of it would help you develop some acceptance for your body as well! 😁
@@palesasefurutshe6832 it’s hard to find clothes that fit us girls with more curves that aren’t plus sized. So many brands that aren’t plus sized are aimed more towards girls who look like supermodels rather than girls who have curves and aren’t plus sized.
I love love love how you include the body type and body function information in these videos, it just really drives all your points home! Also, those magazine covers are horrifying. Imagine seeing that about yourself or your friends? No wonder celebrities are so body insecure
tbh i’m so glad i haven’t had as much issues with my body as i see often, however seeing you talking about cellulite and hip dips still made me feel better about myself, i just think it’s crazy how much media affects us
The "suck in" your belly is just a "woman" thing. We are told at a very young age, by moms, sisters, to do it. Such "un-natural" state. There was a movement here in my country (Argentina) via Instagram promoting woman to breathe normally and pose with normal bellies. "Soltá la panza hermana". Something like "breathe out your belly". It was amazing: the responses, the pictures, the sisterhood, everything.
Thank you so much for this series. Honestly, it makes myself feel so much better and more relaxed. Are there any celebs that are cool with there apperance and celebrate it? Id love to see a video about some good examples. Keep up the good work ❤ thank you so much!
hi stephanie! just a suggestion.. i think if u made a video about the kpop industry and how damaging their standards are it would do really well. there are millions of kpop fans including myself who feel bad about our appearance due to how common plastic surgery is in south korean media. also many kpop idols get surgery at very young ages & are forced into diets in order to have the "perfect thin body"... so yeah! id really appreciate a video touching up on that subject bc its so influential to my generation.
@@stephanielange yay!!! as an outsider to kpop it will be a little difficult since there are many layers.. but i hope its not too hard for ya bc it'd be a great informative video😭🤍
Omg I needed this. On my honeymoon in Hawaii and trying to ignore the feelings and thoughts around being uncomfortable in my bikini, trying to live in the moment and really enjoy myself - but I needed a reality check! Thank you!
I love that you do videos like this. Truth is, there is beauty in every body type. We need to start embracing what we have instead of all trying to look the same. We weren't meant to all look the same. To hell with these unrealistic body standards! Our individuality is what makes us beautiful, I don't care what society tells us.
I never get tired of these videos, please never stop!!! I think we all need frequent reminders about Instagram vs reality. I'm almost 30 and this shit literally can still ruin my day!
I love this series so freaking much. It always pops up at the right time when my body dysmorphia is attacking me, thank u so much for this and for teaching young women, or women in general, that real bodies are BEAUTIFUL!!!
thank you Stephanie! I appreciate these videos! They feel supportive and interesting to watch. Sincerely, each one of these has been very nice to experience.
Okay I've watched every single one of these videos you put out but for some reason the dua lipa stuff just really hit for me this time, thank you for always posting these and making me give my head a shake
It is actually nice to see so many women have cellulite, social media and certain body goals has really taken a toll on women and their body image, thank you dear for this content.
As someone 5’10” and an natural hourglass, it is the most frustrating thing to buy clothes. Seeing people idolise this body shape is strange. I have to alter EVERYTHING. I struggle with my waist being so tiny that I wouldn’t be able to fit my hips into clothes if I bought according to my waist plus being tall on top of that. Dear women, love your body shape because there is always someone wishing they had what you have❤
It's not strange to idolize the body shape, it's the ideal body type to most people. I too have an hourglass shape and struggle to find jeans, the waist is always huge and my hips barely fit lol i can't imagine being 5'10 though! Most be hard to find clothing at that height in general!
Mom jeans have been great for me, finding pants long enough is still a struggle but I've noticed that super long pants have been coming into trend lately (super long for the general population, long enough for me haha) if you can find long cinched mom jeans I greatly recommend them
Not hourglass but I have curvy body smaller waist than hips and my shoulders are broad . Recently I got a little fat due thyroid imbalance and everything is so tight except the waist area . And I'm a short girl so it makes it so🥲 much harder to find dresses
Love your videos Stephanie! You're so honest and I appreciate you adding both sides to your commentary. Also love when you sprinkle positive self-love comments in your videos, so glad I subscribed ❤️
It makes me so happy to see more and more women become aware of how fake social media is and how absurd the current beauty standards are. However, I find it so frustrating how blissfully ignorant men in general remain on this subject. This sort of photo/video manipulation is sooooo common on platforms like OF and it really seems to desensitize men to the beauty of real life women.
I think men being ignorant about this topic is not completely their fault. Specially when we women keep posting pictures where we add so much edits and filters and facetuning and not to mention the amount makeup we wear. Nothing seems to be natural anymore. We women need to also step up and do our part to bring this toxic beauty culture down. There is alot of talk about this but less action.
Dua looks so beautiful. Honestly i cannot imagine that someone posted these photos to show she's 'not beautiful', especially considering that she doesn't photoshop her photos as much as some other celebrities. She is confident, she is beautiful, she makes music ❤
Thank you so much Steph for these videos 🙏🏽❤️ As someone who has had eating disorders for the past 10 years and gotten hospitalized for it several times, this has helped me so so much to heal and love myself and to not compare my body to other bodies. Every video you post in the topic of showing us side to side pictures of people on for example instagram vs. reality - is like a reminder that nothing is real. And that we all are beautiful and good enough as we are ❤
I just LOVE these videos. The way you normalize having a normal human body, talking about the structure and the way they are really meant to look like. This is just so healthy to watch. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!❤❤❤❤❤
"Women, we are purposefully made to look different - it's cool" So, SO true! I admit I have one or several sort of like "favorite" aesthetics for different body and face traits but even so I just enjoy the aesthetics of many different bodies and faces. It's cool! It's all beautiful. It's like paintings, we don't pick and choose two favorite paintings and then discard the rest as ugly. There is a different type of artistry in every painting. And even more beautiful is that this is all superficial and doesn't even matter than much. There are _very few_ people on earth that are actually kind of ugly, outwardly. Chances are, reader, you're not one of them. If you are - I'm sad about how it must have affected your life. But I know and you know that otward beauty in itself is not important. It just sucks tk have to navigate life among people who are so influenced by it. But for most people a lot of the anxious and depressive feelings surrounding beauty could go away if they just learn to appreaciate different types of beauty. They'll see more beauty around them and on them.
i have been requesting Dua Lipa for sooo long now! tysm Steph! we love you and everything you are doing to help young girls like me, feel better about ourselves❤
This is the second of your "body goals" videos I've watched and I'm so glad I watched them. Knowing these women have cellulite, etc. makes me feel better about having it too. And yes, I always try to pose so I look my best in photos and there's nothing wrong with that.
Thank You!!! What you said about cellulite actually made me cry... I have needed to hear that there's nothing wrong with my body because I have cellulite since I was 12 years old... It's been over 20 years but at least I'm starting to shed the shame that others put on me... 💕💕💕
These videos are so helpful! Was in a relationship with someone that started comparing to influencers, and this helps me realize that I'm not fat, but have organs!! That kind of damage leave deep scars, so will probably continue to need this "therapy" for a long time. Thank you so much to the sponsors!! Edit: if y'all do get commercials on her videos, please don't skip! I want her to get paid.
I'm very, very happy to be naturally hourglass shaped, but I've been called fat so many times. I have big boobs & thighs, & I have so many stretch marks. I don't even eat in public if I'm going to wear something revealing 💔
(I’m hourglass too! 😊) but I just wanted to say that I saw your pic and this comment and I absolutely cannot fathom someone calling you anything but beautiful! It makes me sad that someone that I’d see in the world and “think wow! What a gorgeous woman!” Could ever feel like she should restrict herself like that. So i just wanted to say that you are strikingly beautiful, and that anyone that’s ever said you were “fat” (wtf?? Crazy) or made you feel that way, 1. Has no room to talk and 2. Is simply lying - most likely out of jealousy. I hope you are able to hear and focus on all the good people say about you! ❤ I would feel lucky to look like you!! Much love, girl 💗
I'm a petite pear shape also, and I always thought i had saddle bags. But no matter how much weight i lose, they never go away. I've realised it's actually 'hip dips, and I've done ALL the workouts they say to do, but as u said, nothing gets rid of them. -It's just my bone structure! I'm so happy ur back in Australia! Hope i run into u one day!!💋
ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS SERIES!!!! You are what social media needs!! I'd hate to be a teenage girl growing up nowadays! Please please keep doing these videos 🖤
I actually clicked on this video because of Dua Lipa! I've always seen her as body goals and am genuinely surprised when I saw the thumbnail. Maybe because she isn't a model or influencer, I was more ready to believe her photos are authentic. I still love her of course, so I really appreciate how this video "humanizes" her in a respectful way.
I love rectangular body shape in women, it's such a statement and also nobel, I find it elegant in many ways. PS: I really like your look in this video, you nailed the colour palette
I told my nieces about this channel lol I want them to hear body positivity & the reality of all these celebrities they pay attention to. I did tell them that the titles were kinda harsh but to look past that 😂

As an older subscriber, I’m learning to like myself now after so many years hating myself. A lot of that is thanks to you and your videos.
your channel is so helpful ♥️ i struggle with an ED and i feel so much more secure when i see how these ladies look in real life - like every other lady on the street! and they are drop dead gorgeous so why shouldn’t we all feel that way about ourselves. i really don’t blame these ladies for doing the things that they do with surgery and photoshop. we’ve all seen the harassment that they receive in the media. i just wish they wouldn’t lie about it. in my opinion, they do hold some responsibility when they are profiting off of their appearance and willingly present themselves in front of everyone’s faces constantly. it’s not good for society or for themselves to live that lie.
as a person with strong ED (bulimia) I want to thank you for this video and for validating female bodies. thank you SO MUCH and sending hugs from Moscow 💙💙💙
I’m so confused whenever people take pictures of me and my face and body look so different. I look so bad in every photo like my whole face is lopsided and I always look bigger in pictures than I do in the mirror.
I know this comment is like 4 months old but i relate to this comment so much. It’s honestly to the point where i just don’t take photos of myself or allow myself to be in photos because it honestly just makes me more insecure.
Thank you so much, Stephanie! 💚 Your videos help me and many others to less pressure ourselves. I especially struggle with not having an hourglass figure, because I'm more rectangle shaped and I always was no matter what weight I had. I used to hate my waist for that, but your content makes me realize that my body shape is more normal than I thought.
Such videos are needed in a world where people are blinded by filters and face tuning apps. They dont understand that filters exist and ppl make use of them. Many ppl need these videos to understand and differentiate between reality and fiction. Keep it up, your content would definitely be helping many out thr.
This video was a good thing to come across this morning. Your videos that break the illusion of perfection of women in media help me compare myself less and accept myself more.
Great videos, maybe you would be interested in reading about the Kibbe bodytypes? They are a bit more varied than pear, apple and so on, and also take in to consideration where you store fat when you're at different weights, it also touches on how your skeleton is build, what kind of "body presence" that gives you, and what is flattering, not to hide certain parts of you, but to lean into what kibbe type you are, or even stray away from your type and create a totally different look. Its really interesting and has helped me love my body when im more toned, less toned and when I have gained some weight.
Yes, this! The Kibbe body type system is so much more accepting in the sense that there's no "ideal" and each type can wear different, beautiful styles that flatter them best. It isn't about "compensation" - it's about harmony and working with your inherent lines.
I cannot thank you enough for posting these videos!!! You are a rare voice of reason in a world flooded with "influencers" who are promoting completely toxic (and false) representations of women's bodies.

I appreciate these (I may have typed that in last one) but realized in my *late 30s* that I had some dysmorphia and that was Vegas raising, not even full internet. So I feel for these young ladies and they need these kinds of "THIS IS THE REAL LOOK" reminder. One of my bonus kids told me a few months back "I can't wait to have my pores removed like those girls did" and it was the photo edit, she honestly didn't know that they still have pores...they just hid them by edits. I don't have bunches of time around her but, I've now tried to compliment something "weird"(to IG standards) about her and me and anyone else and remember how I speak on bodies.

Even distance runners can have cellulite. Its natural.
It reminds me of my ex bf was making fun of me due to having cellulite on my upper legs even though I have a thin body. Destroyed all my self esteem.
Dude I fucking FEEL this
Girls, never believe what you see on Instagram It's so easy to edit photos as well as photos.
So sorry to hear that she triggered you 😢 I feel like all these celebrities have a responsibility on what they post and but not many of them care about more then "looking skinny on Instagram" 😢
@@annadidyana518 dua didn’t trigger anyone. She’s not responsible for u

Am an hourglass shaped petite and i wish i was rectangled! I don't lile hips or curves at all
If it makes you feel better (or feel like we're all in it, really), I'm a 5'4" hourglass with a bit of belly, and I've spent years trying to lose weight and hit 100lbs mark and get a rectangle body and get rid of my curves and wear those cool cropped Asian outfits without feeling like I'm showing too much. I'm slowly learning to accept my body as it is, and hope that reading my side of it would help you develop some acceptance for your body as well! 😁
@@palesasefurutshe6832 Pfft you don’t wish to be rectangular, you just want to humble brag
Lol @ all the humble braggers in the replies
@@palesasefurutshe6832 it’s hard to find clothes that fit us girls with more curves that aren’t plus sized. So many brands that aren’t plus sized are aimed more towards girls who look like supermodels rather than girls who have curves and aren’t plus sized.
I love love love how you include the body type and body function information in these videos, it just really drives all your points home!
Also, those magazine covers are horrifying. Imagine seeing that about yourself or your friends? No wonder celebrities are so body insecure
As a woman who is learning to accept her hip dips - preach!
People loved that shit in the 80s n I think it looks so fucking cool!! Don’t ya worry bby grill 💖💖
I LOVE "hip dips!" In the bodybuilding world, they are considered gorgeous and a sign of one's fitness level, low body fat and muscular development.
I dont know whether I have them or not. Never looked to see.
@@okamiamaterasu5416Same
I hate my hip dips. It's so ugly
As someone shaped almost exactly like Dua, this video has given me soooo much perspective and confidence! Thank you! ❤
You have no idea how much I appreciate this videos. Makes me feels so good while Im learning to love my body and my skin.
tbh i’m so glad i haven’t had as much issues with my body as i see often, however seeing you talking about cellulite and hip dips still made me feel better about myself, i just think it’s crazy how much media affects us
The "suck in" your belly is just a "woman" thing.
I literally come here for your big sister energy
never get enough of this series of videos. They serve as detox meds to our societal poisonous concepts.
Thank you so much for this series. Honestly, it makes myself feel so much better and more relaxed.
Are there any celebs that are cool with there apperance and celebrate it? Id love to see a video about some good examples.
Keep up the good work ❤ thank you so much!

hi stephanie! just a suggestion.. i think if u made a video about the kpop industry and how damaging their standards are it would do really well. there are millions of kpop fans including myself who feel bad about our appearance due to how common plastic surgery is in south korean media. also many kpop idols get surgery at very young ages & are forced into diets in order to have the "perfect thin body"... so yeah! id really appreciate a video touching up on that subject bc its so influential to my generation.
i agree!! i hope steph sees this :D
I’ll take a look into it today! To be honest I don’t know anything about Kpop so will have to research it 😅 x
@@stephanielange please do🥺
@@stephanielange yay!!! as an outsider to kpop it will be a little difficult since there are many layers.. but i hope its not too hard for ya bc it'd be a great informative video😭🤍
@@stephanielange good luck sis you will be shock!
Only you could make cellulite seem like a miracle of nature. I love it. ❤
I love you so much Stephanie 😩😩❤️❤️ You've helped me deal w my body dysmorphia so much 💗
I never get tired of these videos, please never stop!!!
This is great! I've always been more insecure with my "wider" rib cage. It's nice to see this because she's still so gorgeous
Okay I've watched every single one of these videos you put out but for some reason the dua lipa stuff just really hit for me this time, thank you for always posting these and making me give my head a shake
Wow! Your darker hair is looking fierce! So shiny!
❤❤❤😊
I appreciate the way you carefully word what you’re explaining! ❤️ I love you steph!
Thank you sooo much for this series! 💕
There is alot of talk about this but less action.
i dont think men are ignorant most man find most women hot just not supermodel level good but still hot
And that we all are beautiful and good enough as we are ❤
Honestly, your videos are a gift from god. You've helped me a lot
I just LOVE these videos. The way you normalize having a normal human body, talking about the structure and the way they are really meant to look like. This is just so healthy to watch. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!❤❤❤❤❤
I can't put into words how much I needed this. I was doing really bad. Thank you
That red bikini pic freaks me out, its so unrealistic 🤨 Look forward to these videos, they're like a hug! 🥰
I actually think i have a rectangle body shape, but only when i eat a lot. When i dont, i have an hourglass shape
Just wanted to say thank you for all that you put out!
i have been requesting Dua Lipa for sooo long now! tysm Steph! we love you and everything you are doing to help young girls like me, feel better about ourselves❤
Thank you so much for these videos, I am a guy who suffers from low self esteem and body issues and these videos shed a light to actual reality
Petite refers to height, not body size. Kendall is not petite, she is slim.
This make up looks splendid!! You look fabulous!!
STEPHANIE LOOKS SO GOOD WITH DARK HAIR WHAT I HAVENT SEEN VIDEOS FROM THIS ERA
I love your dark hair so much 😩
I'm a petite pear shape also, and I always thought i had saddle bags. But no matter how much weight i lose, they never go away. I've realised it's actually 'hip dips, and I've done ALL the workouts they say to do, but as u said, nothing gets rid of them. -It's just my bone structure!
I'm so happy ur back in Australia! Hope i run into u one day!!💋
FIRST HERE!!! love you steph!!!!!! 🥰🥰🥰 ur my idol- u made me feel sooo less insecure as a teenager with acne!
I adore your videos! they help my confidence so much and help me to love and accept my body 🤍
I love rectangular body shape in women, it's such a statement and also nobel, I find it elegant in many ways.
PS: I really like your look in this video, you nailed the colour palette
Literally my favorite videos. Please never stop makes these ❤
I told my nieces about this channel lol I want them to hear body positivity & the reality of all these celebrities they pay attention to. I did tell them that the titles were kinda harsh but to look past that 😂
Omg I’m so excited - I’m never awake when your videos upload! Thank you so much for the sound advice you give, that remind us every body is different and that we’re all beautiful in our own way.
I LOVE this smokey dramatic eye you’ve got going on here
I’m so confused whenever people take pictures of me and my face and body look so different.
I love pink, pink embraces her body type!
Ok, but your eye make up looks so beauty!!!
I’d like to see some “body goals” women in the triangle or apple shapes. I feel like I might belong in those shapes or maybe square. Hip dips and all😁
💖💖💖 honestly the Kenzzi IPL looks so awesome!
Such videos are needed in a world where people are blinded by filters and face tuning apps. They dont understand that filters exist and ppl make use of them. Many ppl need these videos to understand and differentiate between reality and fiction. Keep it up, your content would definitely be helping many out thr.
"when she has the nerve to breathe out" 😂😂😂 what the hell... Being a celebrity is like being a prisoner of your own success!
I am currently 34 weeks pregnant and ur videos are making me feel better, keep doing what ur doing :)
I love this hair color on you. I love you in general Stephanie! Thank you for speaking my thoughts and keeping womanhood real
Thank you for mentioning Dua Lipa. I asked for this in the comments months ago. 😂
I cannot thank you enough for posting these videos!!! You are a rare voice of reason in a world flooded with "influencers" who are promoting completely toxic (and false) representations of women's bodies.
Tysm I'm an athletic 15 year old and Im super insecure about my rectangular, bulky, muscular body type and it makes me feel so represented when successful, beautiful women have the same body as me 😁🥰
So many successful beautiful women have that same body shape! It’s a gorgeous body shape 😍❤️
Oh again a moment Stephanie took me back to reality.. thank you! I hope you can reach a lot of young people out there with your great work! Thats so important after they spend so much time on social media seeing only "perfect" women...and feeling ugly..
Hi! I saw a video you posted about influencers craze with a tiny waist and added it to my watch later list and felt super annoyed when I couldn't watch it later because of age restrictions though I think UA-cam just took it down
Just want you to know as a 17y/o your videos really help me whenever I feel insecure, thankyou so much ❤️
You REALLY suit that makeup and hair colour! Kill it queen 👑
Ps thanks for the help, I always come here when I notice I am being unkind to myself 🙏
What's next, the perfect knee shape 🤣😂
Yep 😅
That cellulite fact was interesting asl, great vid💪🏾
“Getting my foof out” that made me laugh 😂😂😂😂 I need to use my ipl machine but it looks lengthy

We are humans living in this crappy internet, insta world!! So frustrating with all the edits that people do. Everything so fake. I love your channel girl! You keep rocking it with our human bodies and all! Lol.
