@@TacticalHyve That's how it should be. Whatever time someone got, there is something interesting here. Any video about slings in general? Pros-/cons of the 3-, 2- and 1-point sling? I've seen some videos on the topic but I'd like to hear from someone that carried all 3 options for quite some time.
We haven't created a video specifically on that topic, but we definitely covered 1, 2, and 3 points slings in one of our videos with Army Ranger, Dave Steinbach. Unfortunately, can't remember it right now.
Nicely Done! Thanks for the simple yet perfect instruction on sling setup for the AR15. I would have went long and at a critical time got my rifle all caught up and thus get wacked. Now that won't happen.
I have that same hand guard that you’re using in this video. I notice that on mine it has round holes on each side both near the mag well and near the very front. They appear to be for plugging a QD swivel but when I put the swivel in those holes they’re a little it loose fitting. Are these holes in fact for that purpose? I don’t wanna use them if they’re going to get wallowed out. Any feedback is appreciated! And thanks for your excellent videos!
We can't speak to the specific model Fred used in the video, but generally, yes, QD mounts can be used with them, but as you experienced, sometimes the attachments are not a 'tight fit." However, if a QD mount is added to a rifle, one still notice a loose fit, too.
Some of the M-Lock rails, like Daniel Defense's MFR, are retarded. You may need an extra piece over that hole. See: danieldefense.com/mfrtm-rail-m-lokr-qd-sling-mount.html.
Hey shipmate, how about starting with the actual correct attachment sequence of the sling to the attachment points. on the weapon? No-one is showing this.
Yea this is the dumbest way I’ve seen to run a two point sling, the way the rifle rests is just sillyy! Right handed shooters listen, run you sling form the right of the buttsock! Garland thunb has a wayyy better video that goes more in depth!
Bro didn’t even show you how to set your sling up at all not one second.
Did you even watch the video
HE LITERALLY DIDNT 😂😂😂

All of these videos are ridiculously good and useful. This channel needs to explode.
We hope it does!
That makes perfect sense. Thanks for a quick simple explanation
Glad it was helpful!
That rifle is hanging too low ..
You need another logo instead of one that looks like a flower 🌸 . Change the colors maybe. Distracting as hell.
Your video content is superb. As my attention span seems to be about 3.5 minutes they are perfect.
Great to hear! We like to mix it up.

I really want to see how and why the pros set their stuff up the way they do.
thanks for the clear and concise explanation.
I thought we were going to see different attachments, bummer
Hello. I’m curious about your front sight location. It looks like you have space at the end of the rail. Do you find benefit in it father back?

Thanks I’m always wanting to move it out not really knowing why because it doesn’t work well when I have it farther out...

0:54 Yea I tried rotating my rifle like that but then the pistol grip digs into my rib bad, any advice on what I’m doing wrong?
Loosen the sling a little
Thanks my brother

What sling is this?
Every so often a video like this one comes along that makes wading through the other noise worthwhile.
Thank you for this tip
Good shit
Thanks!

What sling is that? Thanks
This is one hell of a tip.
Awesome
Good stuff.

Grt tip thank you
Good tips. Going to try them soon.
Hey what QD scope mount do you use?
no such thing as a "QD scope mount"
@@thetoelesszed Yes, there is! American Defense Manufacturing makes excellent ones. This appears to be one.
Likely American Defense Manufacturing: www.admmfg.com/mounts?specs=91. Their Recon QD mounts are excellent.

Ah yes. A navy seal can’t run a sling. Makes sense. Basement operator over here.
