However, some large Nile crocodiles have been recorded as predators of subadult hippos; anecdotally, the infamous giant crocodile Gustave was reported to have been seen killing adult female hippos. A 5 m (16 ft 5 in) specimen from Zambia was found to have eaten a "half-grown hippo". At the no-longer-existent Ripon Falls in Uganda, one adult bull hippo was seen to be badly injured in a mating battle with a rival bull hippo, and was then subsequently attacked by several crocodiles, causing it to retreat to a reedbed.

Crocodiles- even the Nile Crocodile - will NOT mess with hippos. They actually move out of the way when hippos are crossing their path.
Crazy how these things eat skulls, horns, and bones. Seems their guts would at least get punctured.

Lions doubtless have to be wary of crocodiles when they come down to the water`s edge for a drink; hippos, on the other hand, need to have an eye on their youngsters all the time, but apart from that, it is safe to say if they were afraid of crocodiles, they simply wouldn`t have chosen to become semi-aquatic.

Do lions and crocodiles occasionally share the same meal, like at 5:43? The two predators don't seem the least bit concerned about each other.
Hippo's are absolutely not afraid of Nile crocodiles
Or pretty much anything. Nile crocodiles I have seen on doco's leave baby hippo's alone and don't even bother the baby one's even if they are jerks to the crocodile because of the wraith of the adults.
They couldn't possibly get ahold of them cuz they're so huge!

In a lion's territory the croc would come off 2nd best. Once the croc has lost its element of surprise the lion will outwit it and attack the area where the croc's brain is.
Nope. Large crocodiles can kill lions on land. You probably just don’t know what a large Nile croc is.
