Thanks for taking the time. Valuable comparison.
Thankyou for this test! Very helpful
You're Welcome Scott Wheeler!
Would be helpful to know what distance the cones are set at. I'm assuming they are spaced every 10 feet with the first 10 feet from the camera (based on she looks short so guessing she has a 18" stride) I'd suggest putting a cup over the top of the cones upside down with the distance from the camera on them the next time so the viewer has an idea of how far out the object is. This way when you go to the higher mm lens one has a sense of the blind spot created closer to the camera.
Hi Joe Mama. Thank you for your feedback. Cones were spread out every 20feet. Regarding your suggestion about the cones and cups, we will take that into consideration for future videos. Check us out at www.ltsecurityinc.com for more information.
Thanks for the test and thanks for Nice Model :)
Nice video. How far are those car license plates from camera? and what is 15'? (its meters, yeards, feets, whatnots)
This helps thank you Ivy
You're Welcome Da Honu!
How about adding 10 or 12mm fixed lens, so you can mount camera high enough to be out of reach but still have low angle to see faces,
how many times have you not seen that a baseball cap ruining the video as "angle of attack" was not low enough.
Hi Tony,
Thank you very much for your suggestion. We really appreciate the time you took to think about it and we find it to be very helpful.
Thx. Very useful
Higher the mm, better to identify basically. Lower the mm, better to observe.
Extremely helpful video.
Sorry, what does one call the black item the lady is wearing on top of her dress? Sorry again

how do you change the focal length?
If you own a fixed lens camera, you can't change the focal length. If you own a varifocal lens, you can adjust the zoom by going into the NVR, click on the camera in live view, open up the PTZ Control and hit the + icon for zoom, and then adjust the focus. Hope that helps.
@@LTSCCTV So for a specific fixed-lens model, there are many lens variants (2.8 4 6mm)? or can i buy the lens separately?
@@bp6837 There are different lens models (2.8mm, 4mm, 6mm) of the same megapixel resolution camera in different housings (dome, bullet, turret). Call your local LTS branch office or sales representative to know more. www.ltsecurityinc.com/contact
