  • My old vid on Hypertube Cannon's is still functional but since I've been playing a new game on version 0.7 I thought I'd do a quick tutorial version.
Also will do a longer one with more details on different spacing and angles and speeds and stuff but this vid is the fast run down on how to travel supper fast.

Do NOT hook up 144 of these in a row, it made me shoot out of the map instantly lmao. It happens in all directions. up, down, left, right. It's super fun tho, thank you for the video

Thank you so much for this tutorial! Nice and straight forward, clear instructions, really appreciate the time you took to do this. I could NOT figure this out on my own hahaha. All the best!

Thanx.. Glad it still works after all this time too.
I was hoping update 8 would add stuff with artifacts and that last ore... or version they are jumping to soon but i saw nothing.. just reworking map and blueprint stuff and making stuff easier to unlock :(
Not enough to start a new game up and try and pass that nuclear power block.. thats so much work to get all those lines running...

Thanks for the tutorial, I like making them with the stackable supports because it makes it less likely that someone will accidentally go in.
I did have to modify the end, the tilted bit I only did 1 tick tilted down instead of 2. When I did it 2 ticks it either didn't work (I just fell out at the end) or I died when hitting the exit. It may have been because of my refresh rate or something, but if someone is trying and having issues with launching try doing 1 tick instead of 2. You still get a lot of distance.

Ya it can be picky with spacing too, but glad it still works with new update.. Haven't jumped in it yet cuz their was no progress content, tho i still have to make nuke plant system... But that will be so much work.

I think you mentioned in one of these vids that it would be nice to have a delayed switch so that you could turn off the power before going through so it's not always using power,
I thought about it and came up with a decent design that does this so long as you have a fair bit of power: hook your power system up to a switch and that switch up to your hypertubes _and_ a battery or few. This will allow the battery to charge when the switch is on and to run the hypertubes for a short period while off, giving you some delay before they shut down. The battery would *not* be charged to full, just as a buffer when using.
The delay time this offers can be calculated by this formula: delayTime = (waitTime * _min_ (batteryCount*100, (availablePower - hypertubeCount*10)) ) */* (hypertubeCount*10)
Plugging in the numbers, for an example, would tell you that waiting 2 sec with 250kw free power and 10 hyper tubes with 2 buffer batteries would afford you 3 seconds of delay to use the cannon before it shuts off

Ya nice, would suck if power went out before you hit last tube, also to much math but good if you had that toggle timer switch then input it once..
But good to know that basic 10 tube number and post that time on sign beside it so you can charge it effectively.
I only use 1 batter buffer, but to know the time/sec power units it charges and have extra linked batteries that all charge at same rate, you can setup 2 switches to toggle...
I'd do first is off toggle to turn on tubes flip on, start it off.. Second to toggle power going into batteries, its off and on to charge, easy then add batteries = 5 sec of charge for a 1 sec switch flip... Cuz i don't wanna wait and i want a 5 sec window... So by your math it would be 8 batteries for a 6 sec window on 10 tubes or 12 for a 15 tube. Then flip power on 1 sec, charge flip off, have 5 sec to go threw.
So ya good to know batteries at charge at same rate and you can just stack them. Simple. Thats what i get for not even trying to use extra batteries. But ya i forget how much they cost to make so maybe a 2 sec delay and just 4 sec leeway would be better. 4 sec should give enough time to get then crouch jump and threw 15 tubes without feeling hurried.

Is there a way to rotare the blueprint like 45`? not only 90`

      Don't think so.

you can rotate platforms 45°. That's what I just did and placed the canon on these platforms.

I think thats one of the new things they added, more neat stuff... But i looked at stuff for 1.0 and didn't like it, moving ore nodes around, you basically have to start a new game and only thing i wanted was more content and using the artifacts and that last ore for stuff.
