Naaa, The quicker access to areas you need it, the zip line down, nice locker system, washroom, can lock down the hole area, if you don't unlock back door then nothing can get in. It really is best for def, and room to build and store stuff and looks nice... Only thing it doesn't have is water and you can bring a load of water coolers and fill those up near by. Later you get portal/fast travel upgrade and you don't have to worry about anything, even a water condenser later on.. Portal spawn blocker and X ray is only thing u have to build. Access to a cart doesn't mater by then cuz you can teleport and make mini bases to teleport to everywhere.

Its not unique, and i played it enough so blaa blaa blaa its like ark and Minecraft so why bother playing more, its a cheap mash up of other games with shit UI ... 2010 called they want their 20+ workbenches back lol Guess you didn't plat ark right cuz breeding is not end game and they chose to use ark server method with half the options, that was arks major flaw, trying to make so everyone played on server and default that so setting and these tools that made this game make same dumb mistake and make it worse.. For coping a game is should be a crime lol.

@bigdaddykarvix43 Hey I played Ark. I still play. Actually Pixark was first Ark game I played. And one thing. In Ark it doesn't have to be endgame experience. Pixark is different. Who the hell breeds Argentavis in Pixark? Breeding in Pixark is mainly for creating rex army to kill bosses. And one more thing. Most of the workbenches aren't useful in practical gameplay. They are here for fun. You clearly haven't played the game enough to understand this.

Its not fun :P I like to bread everything useful and get the best version of them. So like in ark i could have a OP Argentavis that can solo a alfa rex and some that can carry a ton of stuff and be fast. U seam to not understand not everyone needs to play a game for 200 hours to understand the game.. I see redundant and cosmetic workbench's as a sloppy waste of time, not everyone thinks skins make you better or have any value.

Idk, i didn't see it in patch notes, but it might be a small change.. Or their is some RNG to it.. Also some loot is 1 time, as in you start a new game and it wont be their, but i don't think thats for chests.

Ha, most complain its to low. I have it on lowest setting and can barley run it.. but i run it better then i thought i would with old PC. Gear is like 4th armor upgrade and weapon is a named special one. As for bug new patch just came out, jumped to 1.1, 110gb of the 160gb game, thats alot of stuff.

Their are some main quest broken near end and side quests for bigger ones.. If you upgrade armor thats not equipped you get the upgrades on char permanently until you put that armor on.. So ya up grade junk armor and never put it on. Friend has 135 carry weight and wasn't trying.

Nice that looks like a fast time to beat it, unless u just do main quest.

They did some updates, i think they got around to it last 1... 3 or so later :P

Ya it takes awhile, its a nice new game and with a few content updates i'm sure it will get to a 7/10 in my book no prob, but thats jus me. If you see a room full of poison gas in next zone quest line, run in their their some good loot btw.

Now I’m concerned I’m playing too fast. I’d estimate I’m about 20 hours in and I’ve been through 5 zones already. The blue icons for side quests disappeared after I did a story mission in the lesser zone. And I ended up doing mostly story missions and haven’t explored much outside of where other UA-cam videos told me good loot was. I have a feeling I’m going to have to play this through a few times with different decisions. I’m just happy to be having a good time getting away from COD.

Its a good strategy to get good stuff cuz its all in later zones anyway. Even trying to reload for the rng on artifacts, its a waste on early zones cuz its limited or very bad on numbers. i think its locked to weak on first and strong max on second on side zone on second got next lvl higher once on plenty of reload. So ya get best stuff then come back and do side quests.

I recommend you listen to what i said in vid and read other replies before making a comment like that..

This was a rushed release. It's pretty much early access. 1 to 2 years from now, the game will be very different from how it is right now. (Assuming the devs keep working on it)

Ya i hope they do, and they said thank you for playing early access at start i believe. With a few content updates and balancing i'm sure it will be a 7/10 at least in no time in my book at least.

@@bigdaddykarvix43 I'm more optimistic despite the huge flaws it has as of right now. I think it currently is a 7/10. A-life, a lighting system rework, and better overall gameplay balancing will make it a 9/10. Robust modding tools would make it one of the best games released in recent memory. IF they do all of that, that is...

Lightning was good for me. All that other stuff is unlikely they get it right, friend found a bug were you keep taking psi dam and it doesn't stop.

Its to get the keypad to open door to best best. I have a starting vid to open that door in 1 hour game time. It's such a useful base i had to do a walkthrough starting run to see how long it takes to get it done.

Thanx But i did play for 30 hours or more, prob is with the timeline stuff its all based on experience too, so that variable is hard to measure from the outside. For me i've played many games like this and their is only so much the game is capable of doing and had the game done in a few hours, 5 min to know it rest to confirm and adjust. Helped i played first 1 and remember most of how bad the story and back round is. But ya it can be broken down into a simple adventure game, questing with guns. It's just new and looks good and to many will get hyped on that part. But i think it will be just as good as fallout once its out of early access, but since new more playable, until burned out. But then its about 'will i/u come back and play it again years later' ...I think it will have close to same replay value as fallout.

The games gameplay and how the story line makes the zone an easy place at start and then you get back to Zalissya after that one mission. You see what I’m saying? You’re missing a point. 30 hours is nothing. I had 35 to 40 hours when I realised how my decisions screwed my play thru so I started over. The game has many mistakes. All of them are bugs. You don’t call Stalker a game without many things to do because it’s key gameplay part is to make it seems so before you find that mutant or he finds you and now things are ramping up. I’m a DnD master for more than 6 years now. Trust me I know what it means to create living worlds. Stalker 2 is one of the best currently. You ain’t getting that solitude feeling even in Metro series

O theirs lots to do and ya its way better then metro, but new and shinny won't make up for quests that will bleed into each other and look the same and be generally boring after 100 hours. It's a nice game and don't get panties in a bunch cuz 6/10, i'm sure it will get 7/10 but thats my system and 8/10 is very good game that many can enjoy and feel boarded after 30 hours and will want to replay it 2+ times. People throw around 10/10 way to much as if every game is totally great and you have to play it 200+ hours... Ha, you threw a D&D thing at me, a long time ago i used the DnD masters rules against him to create a super OP char and i'd kill stuff that wasn't meant to be killed. tries to throw a psionic brain thing at us when we never had that as a option before then.. We were meant to run or something but he was pissed i just went in and neutralized it, but it was my spell i made with his rules and it covered fing that thing up.. Just like when we had a quest to steal some loot from a paragon ancient dragon and gave us a artifact to protect from any fire for a bit, he didn't make the run and steal part very well so me and other guy a taught 1 of my spells to just did that to deal with his 100% magic res (cuz i made spells for that lol ) He wasn't happy next turn i sprayed him and turned 80% of its head into stone then used rock to mud as a funnel, he had to use DM cheats to keep it alive lol. Not bad for a Bard/Mage :P Btw it wasn't just a a school of magic i made up that i turned op, with the other rule he has on proficiencies and stuff my bard offshoot class could dodge any aoe magic within 40 yards, Ac -10 and 5 attacks a round with a +5 throwing dagger that instantly returns. Fun times, O death spell, ya thats aoe so ya I'll roll 2+ to save getting hit, thats before reg save. just lv 13/15 i think for that stuff. Point is i eat DM's for fun, they like the challenge most times, one didn't like it much when throwing a high lvl vampires at low lvl group and i just brake a arrow head off and shoot and roll a 20, opps your boss guy is dead round 1, but hat was luck and funny.

O ya they changed the name of that, but you get from doing the missions, just keep popping them off and you'll get to it.. But i wouldn't bother and just use the terrain manipulator to flatter ground on the big rocks then you can pick them up.

Ya thats good to know, i didn't know, i kept door open cuz i had traps to farm extra drops.

@@bigdaddykarvix43 forgot to mention that Leyak will ignore this shutter door if agroed. Security office is very safe place if you set same placeables to block doors from openning on other side, but in my current save Leyak does spawn inside base on second floor sometimes

If you have workbench upgrade that will stop spawn in a AOE around it, you can always build 2 if 1 is on a side or move to mid of base area.

Ya i played a bit a while ago and you don't start with one now. But they do guide you to the blue print system where you can build a small prebuild base with with just regular mats i think. I think you can build the the stuff you need to make a cube with first crafting block thing.

Sry been sick.. But not sure what you mean, are they items you craft on anvil, if so after you hammer them out you hit a button that moves them to quenching trough that you have to put water in, if no water then you lose item... metal shaft or wood... Wood you have 2 benches and both have 2 actions, and thats for the hard wood (is it called hard wood i forget) I think shafts are the small hard wood on small bench you use axe on.

Old guide might not be as useful but can get basic concepts at least.

Once you stack you never go back. Cuz its not fun running back and forth with it doesn't effect difficulty when you can just put a room of air down.

My set up is for passive robot farm, so i can do nothing and kill him and loot at my front door :) If you want base 100% all enemy proof you just have to not unlock the back door by lockers, then nothing can open it and you can shut down front.

im just curious to what games you think are good, every "Honest Review" you've done is low budget-indi games and shtting on them as if theyre AAA companys with millions to throw around

1-2 is extremely negative, didn't think it was needed to show things like chests not being able to be placed on foundations and for foundations it was alot of locations that didn't work. If i wanted a longer vid i could have run to them to show but not a priority on a issues that will prob be fixed later on. Ya lots of work benches is a common thing but doesn't mean its not sloppy and half assed just adding a ton that do same thing vs a system that upgrades them. Its a low standard for a new work bench for every ore and wood type. Its the gameplay and common sense things missing, not the budget. Lots of those simple things that don't work are a key factor in to early and cash grab that so many do now. If a high budget game was as bad is would be a 2/10 or less cuz they have less of a excuse.. Game needed a month more work before it should be early access, needs 6 months to be ok.

They shouldn't be keeping bad things about ark and have them worse, thats why its a sloppy cut paste job.

Cuz 5/10 means games are playable and their aren't many good games out their these days, so 6/10 is a decent game worth putting some time into but its not good enough to play again once your done and burnt out.
