@@rougestarlight4308 I think they're referring to a Part 2 episode where Goemon tries to cut the moon for being too bright and it seemingly is cut in half, but then it brightens again as a cloud moves out of the way to reveal that it wasn't cut at all. It's more of a bait-and-switch gag than an actual feat.
You can comment all you want about the lightning cut, but then Lupin managed to shoot a banana peel directly under the person who just cut lightning, then proceeding to slip him exactly as intended

Not gonna lie Goemon sword kinda remind me of hf blade from metal gear rising where raiden use that sword to cute trought almost everything with is high vibration that can split most molecule.
Masamune's sword supposedly couldn't cut that which is innocent and undeserving. When he held it in a stream the fish swam around and the leaves missed it as though by a miracle. Muramasa's sword cut through everything indiscriminately. I think Goemon's sword is probably meant to be a play on both those. It cuts through everything except "flower petals" which probably means that which is beautiful.
