I don't listen to their kind of music, it kind of freaks me out lol but I've always been curious as to what kind of people these guys are behind the masks. This dude sounds like a respectable and smart person. Very well-spoken.
Welcome to the metal world, jackass. Most metalists are respectable and intelligent. Without intelligent like-minded individuals, there would be no metal.
LPV Official you realize the definition you posted contradicted what you were claiming atheist meant. Atheism is 100% not believing in a god or deity. If an atheist however believes in supernatural phenomenon they are simply not a philosophical materialist.
Wow, I checked this out for entertainment expecting this to be anything but intelligent dialog. I am inspired to a new level of hope for mankind by Corey's honest and articulate review of his search for the truth. Kudos to Corey for opening his mind and weighing all the information available to him.
Ha! couldn't have said it any better myself. I would have to imagine a wise maggot is few and far in between. Maybe it's the ones who stay out of moshes?
I'm a catholic but I don't like choking down my religion down people's throats. But don't get it twisted saying in not catholic... Because I am. So although I am catholic I believe that people should choose their own path and make their own decisions.
Joe Bellino Most of us are like him. They very few Christians that aren't like him tend to be much louder and it make the rest of us look bad. If you want to see my point, look at scott burdens post above this one. Heaven or Hell is for God to decide, and Corey is still alive meaning he has time to make his choice.
a minute and 42 seconds in i realize i barely heard what he was talking about.... i was staring at his face and how beautiful he is ... i noticed sounds was not present in my headphones anymore even though the vol was up to 46 ... i mentally zoned out on corey taylors beauty ... never thought i'd type/say those words before .... 2019 is off to a good start
That's crazy.. I remember being like 16 when All Hope Is Gone came out and Ghost Hunters was my favorite show and I always kept it to myself because I was embarrassed it wasn't cool or some shit.. turns out Corey was watching it too. Fuck yes.
Honestly. The best Loudwire epidode in my opinion. Graham, your just much more natural and easy goin than nowadays when u seem nervous and stressed out. Great talk here, with Corey.
That was actually a Twilight Zone reference. William Shatner was in an episode called "Nightmare at 20,000 Feet." He sees some monster on the wing of the plane. That was an impression of Shatner not Ace Ventura. It's similar to Ace Ventura but that's because he mimics Shatner.
He really has beautiful eyes. You dont often see them properly cos he has them closed or sunglasses on or something else but here you can really see them.
I find this really interesting because I'm actually a Christian, however, I pretty much have the same viewpoint as him. Man has had such an influence on religion, it's almost a competition as to who is right. Like I believe what I believe, but it's all part of a never ending journey for truth ultimately.
I read this book at one of my lowest financial points in my life and I highly recommend this to anyone who is having a bad time. And yes I am a religious young man and this book taught me everyone struggles. Most definitely read it everyone, thanks.
I'm very interested in the book. I have never encountered anything paranormal, however I had a friend who claimed he had. He said it's something you think would be very cool and exciting, until it happens to you. He said it freaks you the fuck out...much like Corey talking about the flight or fight response. He said where ever him and his wife move, activity starts happening in his house. Incidently, he told me all this, years before the Paranormal Activity movies.
i have heard it said that musicians are extremely intelligent, and corey here certainly does his part to uphold that. ive personally noticed that the truly gifted musicians do seem to hold a well above average intellect.
Taylor doesn't know what 'atheist' means. He claims to want nothing to do with cults (organized religion) but doesn't discount 'something out there'. Which means he's an agnostic. Not an atheist.
And you don't know what agnostic means. Agnostic isn't a middle ground between theism and atheism. Here, check this out and you'll understand what I'm saying: api.ning.com/files/kvOHl9cTrw7tTohXFKjpEExwwz0hualrDsn0-6s1D4DjsRMe*PO7qlttW97WZji-XBcwFp*Xow8E56zaTjaZNfL0xbIoD9xr/gnosticism_graph.png
Nope, the terms 'atheist" and 'agnostic' are not mutually exclusive. I (and most atheists) am an agnostic atheist. Agnosticism is an epistemological stance; that is, it is concerned with knowledge, what we can know. I do not know (nor does anyone else) if a god or gods exist, though I do consider it to be extremely improbable given the evidence we currently have about how the universe works. Therefore, I am agnostic. Atheism is about belief. I do not believe in the proposition that a god or gods exist, and thus I am an atheist as well. Knowledge is a subset of belief, which means that it is perfectly consistent to be both agnostic and atheist.
its a william shatner impression from the famous twilight zone episode where he sees a monster at the wing of the plane. "nightmare at 20,000 feet" not ace ventura
I find that a lot of people, that discard religion but are still open to learn, find more wisdom from good meaningful music. Real experience, and all that goes with it. I have to say I've found more useful ways of seeing things through true artists and musicians than my childhood of christianity. Though I have to say, my parents and grandparents don't know that we are the lucky ones to be able to get an emotional release from what makes us feel, rather than what they tell us we should feel. Truly we are lucky to have the music and the support that we do! The best rock stars are fucking switched on!
I 100% agree with his sentiment regarding Ghost Hunters. As the focus of "paranormal" shows continues to shift from objective investigation to mindless entertainment, I find myself less interested.
I am a Christian but I do have to agree with what he's saying about serving a God who is supposed to bring us together then separating everyone that is why so many people turn away from the church it's because of Christians need to show love not judgment there's only one judge and that's God almighty by saying this I really enjoyed this piece on Corey Taylor I think he's an amazing singer he's got so much talent God bless you my friend
If Corey read the New Testament he would agree with its direction for life. Unity, forgiveness, kindness, humbleness, redemption all great things which supersede anything and everything man can misinterpret. God's revelation to mankind through the Hebrew and Greek texts which is the Bible is not about money it is about redemption and reconciliation. God rocks and wants to establish a relationship with everyone.
This guy reminds me a whole lot of myself, I have also had certain paranormal experiences and that was since I was 3 or 4 years old which means I personally don't remember the early ones but my mom told me about them. I have also had very specific dreams of things that hadn't happened yet that were so realistic that people I knew had to repeatedly assure me that we hadn't been to the area before and one of my friends who I remembered stubbing his knee so we had to go home from the woods happened and freaked me the fuck out for several weeks. I have come to terms with the fact that I sometimes will experience weird things at times and have only once had a sense of being attacked (around age 7) where I woke up because of what I thought was a burglar in our appartment but then heavy banging sounded from the walls in the halls and it sounded like things were being tossed around so when it knocked on the door I thought it would be my parents but instead a dark figure that looked like it was wearing a hood but at this point I was scared out of my mind and dove under my covers like a stupid kid, I was lying there for a little while and eventually figured it was a bad dream (felt like half an hour but was probably more like 5 minutes) and when I wanted to remove the covers and go tell my parents it was just standing over me, looking at me and as soon as i moved the covers it grabbed my arm and started to pull me to the window so of course I fought and screamed bloody murder and loud banging started to sound from the walls and all of a sudden it just left me and glided through the wall and out over the street disappearing into the dark leaving me lying on the floor between the bed and the window seconds before my parents came in (the parents mentioned was my birth mother and my stepdad) and comforted me (well my mom did while my stepdad checked for broken things or intruders with a bat) and determined it to be a bad dream and I was too tired and proud of my fighting off a monster to argue but told my mother the next day and she actually believed me and told me that every second child on her side of the family had experienced paranormal things for generations which I hadn't really known but figured it was kind of normal as she didn't really seem to had been unnerved by my previous sightings of spirits when she had told me about them. (also the bed was a king size and I had never ever rolled out of bed before and it was not sleep paralysis because I was able to fight back when it tried to grab me). I don't think there are many evil spirits around but there are most certainly some but they are secretive and seem to leave when confronted with multiple individuals. I do not need people to believe me because I know what I have seen and felt on my own body long before I had ever heard of the concept of ghosts and spirits. Live long and live happy with who you are, peace.
Never been much of a religious person myself, but I do believe there is a plane of existence separate from our own and at times certain "beings" cross from that plane to ours.
There's definitely something spiritual and I truly feel that everyone believes or wants to believe that there is, despite any animosity towards religion or the world. I'v jumped sides a few times in my younger days but i'm set , as of now, as a Christian. I'm not the typical church goer who reads the new testament and acts like the old testament is outdated and useless. I'm not part of the organized cult people blindly follow and I don't worship the writings of apostles and popes, I consider myself a free thinker who analyzes the texts for what they are and see's everything in the Bible in terms of description or prescription, not constant prescription like many do. Buddhism was greatly considered but it seems like watered down and teaches people to pray to a teacher who asked not to be seen as any type of God, which I find about as odd as Catholics praying to and through idols of Mary. I encourage everyone to seek what is most spiritually true. There is one truth, don't be afraid the challenge the theories of someone else because you don't want to offend them. Don't deny a religion for its people or associate yourself with the opposition of religion as a backlash at those people, it makes you just as much of a hypocrite as them. Consider other people's feelings but don't feel obligated to respect someone's opinions.
Wow. I believe I just had a paranormal encounter :D with what´s called a Monsterego and is quite common in the world wide web. Good luck with whatever personal problem you´re having.
Oh Corey, me too. Nothing weirder than finding your old band stuff when you were in the scene playing with bands, and finding Chester Bennington's autograph in a concert book you have, on the anniversary of his death as you're randomly cleaning. That's just the tip of the iceberg for all the weird stuff.
I've had weird shit happen to me ever since I can remember(and continues to happen to me to this day) and I agree with Corey that you need to approach paranormal shit from a scientific point of view to try &"debunk "whatever is going on! I completely understand what Corey was saying about the show "Ghosthunters"I faithfully watched the show,it was my fav for a long time but they did change & not for the better unfortunately.
+6Bene Things moving or shaking by themselves , the bed or even the couch shaking, feeling of being watched, hearing a loud sound in another room but nothings any different in that room (such as hearing a sound like all of my clean dishes in the dish rack falling on the floor but I go in there and theres nothing out of place),have heard laughter right beside me, heard running or footsteps, have heard breathing, see small balls of light, see dark movement out of the corner of my eye(also have seen something white out of the corner of my eye as well recently), have been touched, things disappearing then sometimes showing up randomly in different places & thats if they ever show up at all, lights turning on or off or flickering and when I was little I used to see a giant shadowy mass or beetle on the wall or ceiling. thats all I can think of off the top of my head and these are things that happen or have happened in my house I live in now, I've had other experiences in other places I've lived or just been to. Alot of these events have been witnessed by one or more other people. And just fyi the home I live in now is the same home I lived in as a young child & it was built in 1889.
Stacy Ragland Old buildings can work this kind of magic (uneasy feelings or tricks if you will) on people living in them.I know this experience first hand also. The other stuffs sounds freaky i dont know tho.Does that happen offten, does it bother you?
+6Bene Theres no rhyme or reason to it,sometimes alot will happen in a short period of time then it may be a year or two in between things happening. It doesn't bother me ,it can startle or surprise me at times but I don't fear it for the most part(there was one particular time I was pretty freaked out) . It has actually helped me out before and I've been around it so long now its somewhat comforting to never feel alone, I know it sounds weird. It did scare the crap outta me when I was little! I just don't want my children to have the same fear as I did when I was a kid. My son also hears breathing , has things disappear & has things fly off his shelves. My daughter hasn't mentioned anything yet but shes still toddler/preschool age. I can't claim to know what's going on here but there's definitely something or somethings happening.
+Stacy Ragland And as far as weird things that happen at different places I've lived...Idk...I dont know if these things are attracted to me and follow me or I'm the one who is unknowingly attracted to these places because of those things that are already there, Do u know what I'm saying?
shadow people is usually a visual thing, especially when it's in the corner of your eyes, it equates to either lack of sleep or problems with your side vision(can't remember what it's called)
I have a lot of questions yeah. There is a theory that they are people from parallel universes (which there is proof that parallel universes can exist) that are somehow able to interact with ours or time travelers. Who knows though?
Hi Corey glad you wrote this and I will check it out. Yes, I have also experienced the paranormal and it is just what it is--to this day I still go "Whaaa?" and am not 100 percent sure if it really did happen and in many ways wish it hadn't. I am not an athiest but I don't fit in to any religion/belief system a hundred percent and I do think religion has lost a lot of its meaning because of man's handprint on it, not God's. Love your creative ventures, there is much more to you than just a pretty voice!
where, and who sais wer supposed to have a religion? ive just read and my understanding reading now 3yrs,and studying theology,i only see where God wants us to believe in him, love and obey him,Jesus also of course.saw where communities (should) gather together(Churches) in same belief status, and married couples should hav same beliefs, also states to privately go into own closet to speak to him, jelous God.i dont think hes gona be upset with us over taking own paths to find him, speaking that of myself anyway.i think you can ease your mind.
His voice is so eclipsing, if he was talking about a potato sack I would still be completely interested.
Yeah seriously man 😂
Damn right. I got scared of the fucking sound of the logo at the end of the video because I was so immersed in what he was saying.
Hes a hell of a entertainer. The book is great too by the way.Theres a vid on youtube where he reads it.I listen to it 7 hours without a break.
Shahzad Perez it's because of the neck, dude.
I agree haha
who else is just clicking on everything with corey tailor on it at the end of the vid
Taylor*
..... *Taylor
He didn't come from a mom that sews NEW blue jeans like Ivan Moody.
the typo doesn't make it impossible to read. i actually didn't even notice it until you pointed it out. it'll be fine, i promise
'Killing my grandmother with Corey Taylor'
Me
I just love the way Corey talks. He's so eloquent, and so articulate with his answers. And that masculine voice! I love hearing him talk!
I don't listen to their kind of music, it kind of freaks me out lol but I've always been curious as to what kind of people these guys are behind the masks. This dude sounds like a respectable and smart person. Very well-spoken.
Marky Mark He really is, I know this was commented 7 months ago but I still decided to reply lol
+Marky Mark oh yes he is actually really funny! look up "corey taylor q&a" and you will see lol
Marky Mark late but you should listen to Stone Sour, his other band, it's much softer
Welcome to the metal world, jackass. Most metalists are respectable and intelligent. Without intelligent like-minded individuals, there would be no metal.
bamagts : Nu Metal to be specific.
Brilliant man with a deep chuckle that makes my spine tingle.
Anyone else think he should be on ghost adventures
Hell yeah. Him and anselmo. That'd be hilarious
heythereFuckyou that'd be amazing. They're both loud and aggressive so it'd be a fun watch.
Yeah lol corey would probably be screaming at the ghosts but imagine the whole band going ghost hunting lol
He needs his own damn ghost show
did you.... listen to the interview? all that pulp crap is for the birds
Imagine Corey taylor on Long island medium talking to paul..
that be dope
+TheSaintOG Graphic Designer we need to make that happen
+Air Sentinel i wanna c that/
send this to the press
Corey would probably be questioning her more than believing her sadly. He's very skeptical on such things.
Rad Pepe dudddeeeeee
"I'm getting a P, from over here.
I'm getting a P from someone in the audience-- a P?!
Mean anything to you?!
P?! P?!"
CMFT, we love you so much.
"P? Yeah the bathroom is right over there. I am John Edwards" God dammit I died.
He doesn't seem like an atheist but more like an agnostic that is very cynical to the idea of organized religion which I can understand.
Aithiest just means skeptical of a god or gods not 100% not believing.
Nope, that's agnostic. Atheists 100% don't believe
If you think that you know a deity does'nt exist then you're a gnostic atheist, otherwise you're an agnostic atheist.
dude look it up lol
Atheism: disbelief or lack of belief in the existence of God or gods.
LPV Official you realize the definition you posted contradicted what you were claiming atheist meant. Atheism is 100% not believing in a god or deity. If an atheist however believes in supernatural phenomenon they are simply not a philosophical materialist.
so we have my favorite bands singer wearing my 2nd favorite bands shirt :O
Same
it was kurt cobains vocals that inspired corey to start singing in the first place
+Next Hype What are you talking about? Corey has been singing since he was 12.
Next Hype you mean bleach was the album that made him want to write, correct?
Michaels Covers He's written since he was 12 which was long before bleach came out
Corey Taylor Wearing A Nirvana Shirt?!?!?!
*This Is A Great Video*
Wow, I checked this out for entertainment expecting this to be anything but intelligent dialog. I am inspired to a new level of hope for mankind by Corey's honest and articulate review of his search for the truth. Kudos to Corey for opening his mind and weighing all the information available to him.
Me too, I underestimated him.
Boo Radley I wish more people would realize that the members of Slipknot are by no means as stupid as some of their fans are.
Ha! couldn't have said it any better myself. I would have to imagine a wise maggot is few and far in between. Maybe it's the ones who stay out of moshes?
Hey I'm like that too do I get a fucking cookie or something?
I'm a catholic but I don't like choking down my religion down people's throats. But don't get it twisted saying in not catholic... Because I am. So although I am catholic I believe that people should choose their own path and make their own decisions.

Corey is such an intelligent person it's not even funny I've read both of his books
That's crazy.. I remember being like 16 when All Hope Is Gone came out and Ghost Hunters was my favorite show and I always kept it to myself because I was embarrassed it wasn't cool or some shit.. turns out Corey was watching it too. Fuck yes.
Whatever you find cool, is cool. Everything is subjective. And there will always be people who are into the same shit.
Corey just earned some major respect in my book by having that giant Aladdin Sane tattoo on his arm.
That ending scared the shit out of me
Grant Johnson dude fucking same I almost threw my damn phone
Corey's voice is like ASMR.. And, Dude.. He is one smart guy.
Compared to a loaf of bread.
@@Smorss2011 you're not much better, yknow?
I'd love to see an interview with Corey Taylor and Ricky Gervais. I think it'd be awesome.
Corey never fails to entertain and intrigue even if his perspective on so-called 'paranormal phenomena' is weird. That John Edwards bit was hilarious.
graham you rule.
Thanks!
+Loudwire your name is the same name from the bitch from the legend of Zelda skyward sword😱
so kew...
Honestly. The best Loudwire epidode in my opinion. Graham, your just much more natural and easy goin than nowadays when u seem nervous and stressed out. Great talk here, with Corey.
I love how respectful he is being an atheist, not wanting to offend anyone. Cool dude.
Am I the only fully devoted Christian who loves slipknot?
+marshall mathers nah there are some of us out here, I once told someone I was a steadfast Christian whilst wearing a "Jesus is a Cunt" t-shirt.

Go back to work, Jesse.
Speak when spoken to, Jesse.
Dear world, I'm ignorant. There, I said it.
+Jesse Pinkman Go back to the lab. But you are right

I love how honest and open Corey is huge fan love his work and the way he words things great stuff!!
I checked this book out a few day's ago and I love it so far Corey Taylor has some great Ghost stories to tell.
I’m Lutheran and I COMPLETELY understand and even feel where people like Corey Taylor are coming from !!!
I think he said two thousand times "you know" in 8 minutes. Still love him.
"you know" people are cool... :D
I thought it was made illegal to make adds super loud and startling....
I read this book at one of my lowest financial points in my life and I highly recommend this to anyone who is having a bad time. And yes I am a religious young man and this book taught me everyone struggles. Most definitely read it everyone, thanks.
Corey Taylor + waxing philosophical + Nirvana shirt = exquisite.
Man the more I find out about Corey the more awesome he gets.
you should've left both of the mics on through out the entire video.
"You know, you know, you know, you know, you know" lol 😂
I'm very interested in the book. I have never encountered anything paranormal, however I had a friend who claimed he had. +Adam Pickard I have that same exact Nirvana shirt. Now I have to get rid of it.
Why?

I'm such an idiot. I reread your comment and realised my mistake.

*Hands Down One Of The Best Things I've Ever Seen*
*Corey is my hero*
The ace ventura bit was awesome
Interested in getting this book now and see more of it for myself.
I love that he won't make fun of people for what they believe
I'd enjoy going on a ghost hunt with Corey. It would be fun.
he used the words common sense with religion. it's as simple as that it really is. love this guy

Corey's shirt though. Graham's Descendents shirt is awesome too.. just a lot of coolness here.

No he's not
Jameson Croft yes he is
Tyler Morton Ha! No shit. In recent news grass is green and water is wet

Awesome interview. Corey has a gift for storytelling. Whether you like him or not can't deny he is interesting and captivating...and yummy!!....meow ❤
He is one tasty guy
He Don' told about his experience on the mansion where was recorded the album Voliminal 3. Where his saw a ghost on the door of the bathroon
I feel like I could sit and talk with Corey about similar experiences we went through.

I am glad he is doing the research on this

I have the book and it's excellent!!! I would SO love to discuss my experiences with him! Corey is just amazing 🤘🤘🤘
Twilight Zone reference. "Nightmare at 20,000 feet" He's doing William Shatner derp!

John Edwards: "I'm getting a P, a P? Anyone? P?" lol
I'm gonna go listen to slipknot now
Wow. I believe I just had a paranormal encounter :D with what´s called a Monsterego and is quite common in the world wide web. Good luck with whatever personal problem you´re having.
The unit and divide parts is so so so 100%
Love the shirt, Corey :)
this was GOLD!!
You should interview Corey Taylor on his next album.
What kind of "shit" is happening to you miss?

Old buildings can work this kind of magic (uneasy feelings or tricks if you will) on people living in them.I know this experience first hand also.
+Stacy Ragland And as far as weird things that happen at different places I've lived...Idk...I dont know if these things are attracted to me and follow me or I'm the one who is unknowingly attracted to these places because of those things that are already there, Do u know what I'm saying?
same with me. I have seen shadow people. don't know
shadow people is usually a visual thing, especially when it's in the corner of your eyes, it equates to either lack of sleep or problems with your side vision(can't remember what it's called)
So if you and your whole family have seen them, even at the same time in some cases, that's due to lack of sleep. Pfft...
Akeba Lucas keyword: usually meaning sometimes or most of the time, I never said It is due to
Seen shadow people?
I have a lot of questions yeah. There is a theory that they are people from parallel universes (which there is proof that parallel universes can exist) that are somehow able to interact with ours or time travelers. Who knows though?
I just got my hardcover of the book today. I was so excited I danced around my living room like an idiot.
Corey is smart as fuck fr, I think the same way, but I've read the people who tend to ask more questions are often more intelligent
I should probably be doing an annotated bibliography for a research paper right now, but fuck it, it's spring break.
both of you guys are wearing shirts of good bands
my god... he has so fair skin..
