How to Bypass Culligan AC 30 Reverse Osmosis Water Filtration System Eliminate Remove Water Filter
I went out to complete the project. I ordered the parts and as we waited for the parts to arrive the water filtration was bypassed, so the water could still be used from the Culligan Filter Faucet and for the ice maker in the fridge. The Pressure tank had become water logged and the filters had not been replaced in 10 years. The was was trickling through to just make enough ice for the older single person that I was doing thing for. Once the filter system was bypassed the whole system had free flowing water, although it was tap water and was not filtered, but still better than nothing for a few weeks. I bought an adapter for the water inlet to feed directly to the Culligan Filter faucet and to the ice machine. The owner was happy that everything was flowing well and water could be got from the refrigerator door again. After the parts came the filters were installed and the pressure tank was connected and the system is working properly again. Parts were purchased on Amazon, as they were considerably cheaper, although I am sure they are not of similar quality.
